  • Don't like his voice much - too croaky.

  • Chomsky on Liberation Theology and the philosophy of the Christian Gospels, not "Chomsky on Religion."

  • Comment removed

  • i have chomsky's "9-11" it's a fascinating read

  • Chomsky is the Father of modern left-wing liberal socialism in America. Learn more about him in n the book, "Do AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO" No Constantine = No Christianity today. He brought it up out of the catacombs and into the light of day.

  • Man Thomas Sowell was right! People only know who this guy is because he went outside of his area of linguistics into others which he knows nothing about. Sowell definitely trumps this guy in critical thinking!

  • @GhettoEnterprises And YOU, of course, would know ......

Get a grip. People with three times your IQ respect Chomsky, so who pumped your ego up to make you think your opinion was worth a damn?

  • @GhettoEnterprises

Sowell is an economist, therefore he has no place talking about history or political science.

He should stick to his field.

    derp

  • chomskys brain is as dry as his cut foreskin

  • Man! - who is THIS psycho?

Something very ugly going on in his head ..... do they have computers in asylums?

  • @MegaTarkers You don't know who Chompsky is?

  • @MastodonManiac Yes, AND I can spell his name!

I meant the psycho below leaving all the sick posts ....... arktiro ......

  • @MegaTarkers Too early in the morning I guess, well good. Your post just looks way out of context sitting there all alone with no reference.

  • @MastodonManiac Yep - I see what you mean .... it's just the the weirdo surprised me with his unusually distasteful diatribe ...... do you see a lot of this?

  • @MegaTarkers

He's either a troll or the atheist equivalent of Westboro baptist church.

  • @ThisOneIsTaken - not sure which side of the cesspit this guy lives ..... I think he just enjoys being vile. Spect his mom won't allow him to cuss in the house .... my guess is he's 14, over-parented and checks out the girls from behind a hedge, with his best friend in his hand .....

  • @MegaTarkers how so

  • @fleammm - you'll have to be just a tad clearer, my friend.

  • @MegaTarkers how so is he insane

  • @fleammm still not clear ... can't find the comment you're referring to.

Might be the one where I was referring to the previous post to mine - the arch-nutbag 'arktiro', who spews bile and filth ant the drop of a hat ....

  • @MegaTarkers Oh, look! Another simp who watches debates involving Hitchens and Dawkins, which therefore makes their opinion correct by default.

  • @inswoon Oh, look! Another fuckwit who can't be any more literate than to make obscure bitchy comments devoid of worthwhile opinion.

    Why don't you fuck off?

  • @MegaTarkers My explicit affirmation is obscure? How deliciously absurd. Of course you shall say my opinion lacks certain qualities; you are against it, dolt. It's nice [s.] to read the words of a pseudo-intellect driven to insulting, instead of an attempt at refutation – although I suppose the swearing annuls any external opinion or statement, no? You are the epitome of Earth's dregs.

  • @inswoon And you are pretentious and rather ineffectual. You give a lofty-sounding criticism of insult, then proceed to insult. That's a bit silly now, isn't it?

It really is amusing to see the lower orders attempting to ape their betters. But too transparent. No challenge. As your quoted Hitchens would have said - the worst transgression is to be boring. You are a bore.

I suspect that your text is not as clear as you believe it to be. Solipsism.

  • my mind is actually exploding with the knowledge this man pours from his mind

  • Chumpsky is a brilliant idiot.

  • @smartcnut I have just one thing to say to you Chumpsky " I want my money back ! " wasted 70 bucks on your book .

  • @smartcnut Who's the chump? You paid $70 for a book. Ever hear of ebay? Amazon? You've got options, and one of them is not paying $70 for a book!

  • Comment removed

  • I think what's being called "liberation theology" is really humanism at it's core. Sanders/Chomsky for president!

  • As a canary in a cold mine ok, but as a president he would be absolutely the worst president the USA as ever had. And that would be bad!

  • What is unique about Iran, as if I need to actually point this out, is that their a theocracy and have established a faith in suicide as a mechanism in politics, just one somewhat really bad wrinkle "so to speak", so what do you think "PrimeConsciousness"?

  • One last comment. Let me guess Chomsky thinks Iran should have the bomb?

  • @frost1947 Probably, considering how anyone with a brain should know that nuclear weapons are the only mechanisms that secure a people's existence into the indefinite future. All non-nuclear people that aren't prepared to get nukes at a moment's notice (like Germany) are begging on their hands and knees to be eradicated from the human "family."

  • @frost1947 And I meant that Germany is an example of a nation that is prepared to get nukes whenever they may need them. They have alot of industry and intellectuals.

  • lol this guys a communist.... the second vatican that he so prancingly referred to was a freemason/luciferian/liberal/modern-progressivism infiltration as detailed in the freemason published book the Alta Vendita.... this second vatican council was very anti-gospel, contrary to the way he describes it.

  • @ohmgrown1991 Where did he praise Vatican II? You should listen more carefully to what he says.

  • Simplistic terms , terms or words such as "rich" never successful Chomsky what can you say, Ron Paul in disguise?

  • @frost1947 Ron Paul in disguise? Chomsky thinks Paul is nuts in everything but his foreign policy.

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • keep away from cliches this world is much more complicated

  • The rich should be their own gods and go to hell

  • he pronounged uragay wrong

  • Wack job, the USA did such acts to bring and end to dictatorships from forming and instability that follows and repeats over and over as South America has faces for generations. Almost every dictatorship in history has formed of the back of hard line religion being brought into government rulings.

  • You need to check the US backing of the dictators of the Caribean

  • This sort of nuanced evaluation of religion is much, much, much more helpful to society than so called "New Atheism."

  • @johnnyforjohnny u mean the thing made up by right wing media? sureeeeeeee

  • Chomsky is being staggeringly naive about early Christianity.

  • @belzondium how so?

  • @belzondium u write 1 sentence without mentioning why he is "naive", tell us why he is naive and link some proof

  • Chomsky is an act looking for an audience. Instead of boring us to shit with his anti-US conspiracy he should go and see John Pilger. They would each have an audience and stop boring us with their know-all about nothing mentality and drawing connections with nothing..

  • @arktiro

You may not like what he's saying, but that doesn't mean he isn't true a lot of the time.

  • @biscuithammer00 He is a dreary know-all who really has nothing to say and proceeds on that basis to say nothing. It's not a question of truth, it's a question of boredom, relevance and commonsense. His only contribution to mankind is his repetition, ad nauseum, in confirming his tediously outdated paranoia.

The only people enthralled by him are his naive students who quickly grow up to realise he's a king-of-the-kids fraud.

  • @arktiro is that why he's celebrated the world over as an intellectual responsible for revolutionising syntactic theory, phonetic and phonological theory and destroyed behaviourism as the main tract in which to investigate language? you're an idiot. go kiss a picture of george bush and wank off whils staring at the american flag

  • @OracleUndone Charming! Is that fantasy of yours another one of Chomsky's teachings? The alternative to agreeing with him is masturbation. Some choice he's given you.

  • @arktiro if you're stupid enough to think that chomsky doesnt have some valid points, so much the worse for you. but dont make false claims to those who know better

  • @OracleUndone You've obviously selected the masturbatory option from your guru. Which flag are you waving now?

You're right! I'm not stupid and he doesn't have 'some valid points' - he has none at all.

You're also right I never make false claims and, in the case of you, I have not met anyone who knows better than me.

  • @arktiro only a self-affirmed egocentric fool would deal in absolutes like you. your audacity of assumption is enough to show me you're not anywhere near as clever as you think

  • @OracleUndone I am infinitely more clever than you think. Once again your inability to make sound judgements is demonstrated. In fact I fail to see any evidence that you think at all. But I'll leave the ad hominem attacks to you and your treasure trove of empty argumentation and idle posturing.

  • @arktiro thankyou. now kindly stop crying about chomsky on a chomsky video. in all your vast intelligence, its strange that such a pioneer in epistemology like you is trolling on bloody youtube.

  • @OracleUndone You pathetic shit!

  • @arktiro charming! go away, you've proved yourself to be a fool and a waste of time; no point embarrassing yourself further

  • @OracleUndone It appears your entertainment when not exercising your flaccid Chomskian fantasies on yourself and your flag is to project them onto me. No such luck pathos man. Everybody here sees you for what you are - just another tediously boring and impotent chomskyite, a true chip off the old block made in the image of Noam the Gnome himself.

  • @arktiro

And everyone sees you as just another blowhard internet posting posing ignoramus who lives to put down people on the web to compensate for lacking interpersonal skills in real time.

  • @mesmerizedbyamy1 It's peasants like you that give the internet a bad name. Just like the Chomsky prat you idolize with your mediocre intelligence.

  • @arktiro ... and your reply evidences how you clearly misread/misunderstood mine. lol. you're foolish

  • @OracleUndone And what makes you think I should care what a pair of know nothings like you and Chomsky say about me or anything?

  • @arktiro you have said not one thing reasonably intelligent in any of your comments. how about instead of attacking chomsky you make an intelligent argument about something he said which you believe to be non factual. if you are incapable of doing that, it is safe to conclude that you are simply talking out of your ass and/or trolling

  • @ACDC7369 I think you meant to say 'arse' not 'ass', that's a donkey. Nothing intelligent? The dreary Chomsky and his brainless sycophant followers like you are intelligent? You've got to be joking just an impotent moaner who contributes nothing. Paranoid conspiracy theorists claiming the world is run by a few corporations who abuse their power. And you've got the gall to call me unintelligent. You are like Chomsky, a naive peasant who nobody of worth bothers listening to except for the comedy.

  • @arktiro I wouldn't call myself a Chomsky "follower". I don't agree with everything he says. I'm a Ron Paul follower. But Chomsky makes a lot of good points, which you have yet again failed to debunk. The media ignores both of them because their ideas are threats to the elite establishment that they have been constructed to protect

  • @ACDC7369 Chomsky makes no other point than playing hero to naive kids and students who think the world is a conspiracy. As a follower you do the same. His ideas aren't threats to anyone. Because he can't handle complexity everything is a conspiracy against his, and your, naivety. He wants to wrap everybody in cotton wool and blame the struggle of life on everybody but himself. He's a dreary bore and that's why his political views are shit that nobody seriously takes any notice of.

  • @arktiro your arguments are still completely based around the ad hominem logical fallacies. again, why dont you stick to the facts instead of dissecting what he actually says.

  • @ACDC7369 Chomsky, it is my contention, based on this video clip and his own words, sees the outside world as a conspiracy against his world solution. Trouble for you is this is not ad hominem. Like Chomsky you want to manipulate the rules of criticising his silly and paranoid worldview in such a way that disagreement is not allowed. Nice try but it doesn't work. Chomsky is an irrelevant failed dictator. He should have stuck to phonetics or whatever. That way ignoring him is much more polite.

  • @arktiro your argument is essentially that he is a paranoid conspiracy theorist, therefore nothing he says could possibly be true. that is not a legitimate criticism and you're not actually debunking anything he says. your points are generalized, vague, blanketed statements....all show and no go. Nice try but it doesn't work. and yes, calling him an irrelevent failed dictator who should have stuck to phonetics is an ad hominem logical fallacy.

  • @ACDC7369 More an emprical observation based on his behaviour rather than an argument. I have not said he is wrong on everything as I don't know all about him. There may be glimmers of hope that some things he says are true but if this video clip is any indication it's not looking good. As far as the phonetics vs failed dictator comment, it is merely my good-natured way of suggesting a way out for him from his deluded and paranoid non-productive world. Generalised? Not even remotely!

  • @arktiro i see you have absolutely no valid points whatsoever still, so it's safe to conclude that your sole objective to commenting on this video is simply to troll

  • @ACDC7369 Any trolling going on here is by you, not by me. I have added substantially to this discussion whereas your repeated inanities only reinforce the evidence that you are a rather uneducated follower of the paranoid Chomsky.

  • @arktiro your argument is basically this: "Chomsky is a repetetive, boring, old-fashined, fraudulent, know-it-all, paranoid conspiracy theorist, desperate for attention and has never made a single valid point in his life. The only people who take him seriously are naive, brainless college kids who masturbate over everything their idol says. That's why nobody takes him seriously." Absolutely no real substance, just ad hominem logical fallacies. Learn how to engage in real debate.

  • @ACDC7369 Most of the items you have listed are nowhere near what I have said. You've jumped to conclusions. Learn how to read! Regarding masturbation, that was raised by one of your colleagues and technically it is conducted over the US flag rather than Chomsky or his idol as I understand it. Chomsky is probably too old and boring to be of any use on this activity. I suspect his penis would be totally bored by his advances anyway. But you'd know more about Chomskys dick than I would.

  • @arktiro I'm not going to ague about you with what you said. Other people can go back and see for themselves what you said. And they will also see that all you have done, and all you continue to do is troll. So keep trolling away.

  • @ACDC7369 I wouldn't argue with you even if I ever wanted to. The sort of post you produce and this latest one are just the sort of mealy-mouthed piffle and nonsense Chomsky produces. You're living in the past. The hippy protest era came and went and you only represent the dregs of that mediocre movement. You couldn't argue your way out of a wet paper bag.

  • @arktiro You're arguing with me right now, so obviously you do want to. You have said nothing that debunks anything Chomsky says in this video. All you're doing is trolling and engaging in personal attacks...with guilt-by-association tactics, strawman arguments, and ad hominem logical fallacies. Learn how to engage in real debate; until then, nobody is going to take you seriously.

  • @ACDC7369 I am not arguing with you. I am slaughtering you with my superior intellect. Anyone who follows Chomsky as slavishly as you can only have a basic level mof education and intelligence and you are no exception. The fallacy with your line of thinking is to follow the old diehard without thinking. Such is the life of a time-worn hippy drongo such as yourself.

  • @arktiro You're slaughtering nobody. Your debating skills are inferior and your statements are full of fluff and no content, the sign of an intellectually devoid individual who is grasping for straws to save his shattered ego. Can't you read? I don't follow Chomsky, for the third time. I disagree with him on the most fundamental principles. I'm not a "time worn hippy", I'm in my mid-20s.

  • @ACDC7369 I am not debating either. Yes you repeatedly distance yourself from Chomsky when you get cornered. The sign of an intellectual coward. I only have your word on your age but it certainly fits that Chomsky only operates successfully as a king-of-the-kids. Your every sentence reflects the pathetically pitiful naivety of callow youth only capable of giving support to Chomskys boring paranoia & unoriginality. Anything but creativity and productive constructive engagement in the real world.

  • @arktiro I don't distance myself from Chomsky when "I get concerned". You're making stuff up. Chomsky supports socialist Democracy, I am a right wing Constitutional Individualist. HUGE difference, but obviously your pea brain is incapable of grasping that concept. You claim Chomsky is boring and repetetive, but you are repeating the same brainless talking points over and over again. The sign of a desperate troll whose ego has been shattered.

  • @ACDC7369 Every time a sound argument against your beloved Chomsky arises you abandon him. And now we have your latest desertion with you putting another ridiculous label on yourself - you're a RWCI, what a joke, what a shell of a human being you are. Listen hear, plastic man, it only requires a pea brain to totally defeat a cretin like you. I've come across slugs in the garden who have more intellect than you.

  • @arktiro lol are you serious dude? what argument against Chomsky have you presented? aside from the contentless fluff you keep spewing

  • @ACDC7369 Like all Chomskyites you are incapable of following a soundly based argument so I have no interest in repeating them to you, plastic man. Everybody else here sees through Chomsky's flaccid and boring message. Of course you can't because, as king of the kids, he panders to types like you with shallow experience and a paranoid reaction to everything in the real world that you see.

  • @arktiro Repetetive and wrong. I'm not a "Chomskyite". You've made no sound argument, you've only made logical fallacies and personal attacks. You've not debunked anything he says in this video. You are nothing but a troll.

  • @ACDC7369 Is that your best shot plastic boy? As one of his minions all you have learned is veiled unimaginative insult and flaccid unproductive whinging and moaning. In this regard your hero, guru and leader, the ever boring, tedious and wrong Chomsky has taught you well. Your servitude to Chomsky and Chomskyism is just a symptom of your lack of intellectual depth and rigour. So much so I believe you are beyond repair.

  • @arktiro More of the same out of you. You are all show and no go. Your points are devoid of any rational thinking, just a mindless barage of personal attacks. You have no debate skills and your life's primary purpose is being a troll on youtube. Kill yourself.

  • @ACDC7369 The inherent violence and cowardly nature of your ideological servitude to Chomsky's bankrupt theology, because that's all it is, now comes out. Like the xian rabble you align yourself with you threaten death on your betters. All Chomskyites are incapable of rational discourse just like you, Plastic Boy. Your threats and deathly suggestions are just as impotent as you are. You are as flaccid as your senile god-guru Chomsky.

  • @arktiro Lot of pent up sexual rage here. Maybe there are some BSDM forums where you would feel more comfortable. South Park has taught us that anyone with this much rage does indeed have a small penis.

  • @homerco213 You've been watching too much South Park. Like all Chomskyites you are only cartoons and very badly drawn at that. In fact so badly drawn you don't have a penis at all.

  • @arktiro If you cannot write with intelligence, do not write at all.

You will save us all a great deal of trouble.

  • @GhostofHitchens Who are you, as yet another pathetic and impotent Chomskyite dictator, to tell me what I should or should not do. Mind your own business. You have the intelligence of a nematode and, unlike you, I have the credentials to accurately assess your complete lack of intellectual ability. I have no interest in saving anything of yours.

  • @arktiro the man has you to a T ...... if you have credentials, you ain't displayed 'em yet.

Put up or shut up. Credentials? From your mom?

    Preferably the latter.

  • @helperthrope Don't be so rude you dead-shit. You come from an impotent ideology and an impotent father who watched my dog fuck your mother at your birth and stood by and said nothing.

  • @arktiro THERE! now we have the poisonous little viper out in the light of day.

Nothing to say that doesn't involve rant and insult.

    Ignorant, foul-mouthed, gutter-brained fellow.

Thank you for showing us your credentials.

  • @helperthrope Your mother was so disgusted by the sight of you at birth my dog couldn't come and threw up on her insteadt. And your father choked so much on your afterbirth he had to eat my dogs vomit to settle his stomach.

  • Comment removed

  • @helperthrope Sounds like you're getting off on this. You must be a Chomskyite too!

  • @arktiro arguing with you is a waste of time. you're nothing but a troll. so keep on trolling

  • @ACDC7369 OK Mr Impatient Plastic Boy. You can have your turn with your mum after the dog and Chomsky are finished.

  • @arktiro You might want to consider that your comments are interesting only as manifestations of your ugly psyche. You won't. Yes, "slaughter" me with your "superior intellect" now, from behind your internet avatar. Yeesh.

  • @ACDC7369 Yes, I say he is a paranoid conspiracy theorist. I have never said he could never be truthful - we live in hope. The rest of your drivel about ad hominem is based on some stupid premise suggesting I can't mention Chomsky or whatever.

  • @arktiro and for the second time, I wouldn't consider myself a Chomsky "follower".

  • @ACDC7369 It is of no importance to me whether you are actually a follower or not. I accept you aren't despite looking like one. I can well imagine being a follower of such a fraud as Chomsky is embarrassing and I wouldn't want that to happen to a self-proclaimed but completely unconvincing innocent in the matter.

  • i love READING chomsky but listening to him talk is fucking torture. i bet i could smoke meth while he's talking to me and i would fall asleep.

  • @steb413 maybe if he was doing a song and dance you would be more able to pay attention.

  • Great Chomsky wisdom here. Don't hear much of Chomsky on religion; but he sure does know his stuff about the history of the church!

  • Comment removed

  • Chomsky For President

  • @Blackandred24 That will never happen.

  • @Blackandred24 That's an insult to his intelligence

  • Comment removed

  • @53yoRAPESa9yo Then go play with a shiny trinket. Chomsky's for people with more than a brain stem.

  • ghost from true Capitalist Radio?

  • He has a way of making it sound like he's ready today's events out of a history textbook

  • noam is teh smart.

  • Feminism, and environmentalism certainly ARE tied to Marxism. Not by their definition but in practise and history, yes they are.

  • @bigglyguy not conceptually. there's no logical necesity to accept marxism in any significant sense by accepting feminism.

  • @bigglyguy Feminism has nothing to do with Marxism, they are just riding on his coat tails

  • @brownie1982ad You are quite wrong on this. One of the historical roots of first wave feminism is in the Marxian tradition.

  • Chomsky sucks, he states obvious things. It's all about Christopher HItchens.

  • Liberation theology is just more back door Marxism, just like illegal drug culture, feminism, and environmentalism.

No one wants Marxism, so professors try to sweeten up the pill.

  • @tnekkc

    1.what is illegal drug culture?

    2. what is marxism?

  • @akanoez

    Do a Google search.

  • @tnekkc google says you're a dumbass, teknikk. what should I tell them?

  • @akanoez hahaha

  • @tnekkc there is a capitalist aspect to all of those things. illegal drug culture is an expression of real market forces, feminism (one aspect) is the broadening of the labor market, environmentalism leads to more efficient use of natural resources... i sort of just made all that up but its still true i claim... also, the jist of marxism is that rich people like to screw over poor people... the details are a little shaky of the overall message is pretty obvious

  • @HoRostam

In the fall quarter of 1969 English 101, the instructor, Wold, self avowed communist dressed like Castro, passed around the room copies of American Communist newspapers explaining women's liberation.

Wold explained, "You may have never heard of women's liberation, but you will be hearing about it."

Just try to find any women's liberation literature from 1969 that does not have the words "communist" or "Marxist".

Feminism has since been discredited, but the commies have not quit.

  • @tnekkc "just like illegal drug culture, feminism, and environmentalism."

back door marxism? the first too are about individual autonomy, a concept upon which even classical liberalism is based. the third is more nuanced, but to claim that all are inherently and/or necesarily tied to marxism is manifestly wrong.

  • the cross is and is only a phallic symbol, if you cant figure that out on your own and you don't know how to use google, maybe you don't deserve to know... eat shit you fucking idiots.

  • In short, politicians use people's beliefs for their cause.

  • RIP Arch. Oscar Romero, the greatest Catholic churchman of the late 20th century.

JP2 helped bury Liberation Theology as he was a radical anti-communist.

  • Chomsky does not understand the nature of religion; specifically that it is not the source for morality for anyone. Our moral nature is a product of evolution, thus when he states that chrisianity could have been "restored" by returning to the gospels, he is buying into the fallacy that a better morality is created by highlighting different verses or chapters in the bible rather than through sober rational thought and discussion with emphasis on levels of suffering.

  • what is "liberation theology"?

  • @TheFarmerboyproducti It's a specific form of political/spiritual outlook that (I believe) emerged in the civil/human rights struggles of the 20th century.

  • Oh, I read his earlier works! I love this guy!

  • Stephen Fry and that Hitchens prick should watch this. They might learn something.

  • @padry1509 Why?

  • @thesethreekings I forgot, I'll have to watch it again and then I might be able to tell you.

  • @thesethreekings Fry and Hitchens love to be critical of religion. It's an easy target. However as NC points out sometimes religious people are the most supportive of the poor and powerless, and they often suffer for their efforts. When Fry and Hitchens have the guts to criticize the real criminals, ie corporate domination and subservient governments, then they should'nt be taken seriously. Until then they are just two gutless wankers for whom cliches about religion serve a useful purpose.

  • @padry1509 "Fry and Hitchens love to be critical of religion. It's an easy target. However as NC points out sometimes religious people are the most supportive of the poor and powerless, and they often suffer for their efforts."

To which the proper response is who the fuck cares if it's based on lies and a range of additional harmful effects? Governments could threaten non-religious people with torture if they did not help the poor to obtain the same end with similar means.

  • @padry1509 Seriously. The Christian Church's morbid fear of sex has led them to oppose all kinds of real benefits to mankind. From condom distribution to prevent the spread of AIDS in Africa to the prevention of teen pregnancy and other STDs in the west, to undermining science education out of fear that knowledge about reality undermines the word of God, to opposing stem cell research etc the list goes on and on. None of these things are cliches. They are real sources of human misery.

  • @padry1509 Which, by the way, you can easily argue that the group you call "the real criminals" are not. Big corporations provide massive amounts of positive services for humanity, and their "crimes" are largely imaginary on the part of conspiracy theorists. NC also has a really simplistic view of the kind of decision making that goes on in politics. It's easy to organize radical circle jerks around people getting killed, but the political alternatives may often be far worse.

  • @padry1509 Fry and the late Hitchens were critical of religion because religion has long been a mechanism for social, sexual and intellecctual control. Corporations have only been a part of the control mechanism of humanity for a couple hundred centuries at best. Forget religious wars and conflicts. The Catholic Church is against contraception and has largely been against social reforms of the past 50 years and more. Protestants arent all that great either though some try.

  • @padry1509 Religious and secular organisations are both helpful in supporting the 'powerless', although the secular does not, without reservation, require anything in return, which has not been true of the religious ones. Incidentally, i hope you don't believe that Hitchens is seriously a 'gutless wanker' after he protected Salman Rushdie from the bounty that was put on his head.

  • @padry1509 hitchens learning from chomsky?

    lol.

  • @padry1509 Lmao, good one.

  • @Kissmyasthmaa I agree, but some conservative forms of Judaism are still pretty badass against human rights!

  • Bless him, he is also great friends with the Quakers.

  • What I love about Chomsky is, he is not "all or nothing" kind of person. He can see grays, and he likes to look from every perspective. And he never loses historical perspective.

  • @cmfrtblynmb02 Generally most people on the planet are like that (although maybe not as smart as Chomsky). It's just a shame the fanatical assholes are the ones who make the most noise.

  • @cmfrtblynmb02 That's the way you have to think to be able to research history. There's just so much information, if you can't "see grays" and give all the items proper weight, you just won't be able to understand it.

History is not meant for idiots. Sadly, that's the variety of people who usually study history. Idiots. Good thing we got Chomsky.

  • @cmfrtblynmb02 amen :-p

  • He completely misses the whole point of how Christianity works... lol, not impressed at all. greatest mind my ass. the cross is and will always and has always been a phallic symbol, whenever you drift away from what it is, your just making shit up.
