That's because you can't change the color of the hands, feet, and mouths effectively. It looks alright on some creatures, but it looks odd on a monster with black skin.

Godzilla is male, Which is why he is the "King" of the Monsters, and not the Queen. Godzilla is referred to as he, or it in almost everything. In both Son of Godzilla, and Godzilla's Revenge, he is called Minya's Father. The only time Godzilla has ever been called a she, was in the English version of Godzilla Raids Again, Gigantis the Fire Monster. The American Godzilla did lay eggs, but that Monster is not Godzilla.
