COD4 was exactly what was needed at a time when gamers on the whole were getting tired of WWII, but COD2 was the game at the height of the series' WWII setting. Besides, now we're beginning to experience fatigue with the modern setting in shooters.

This game was amazing, brings back memories. For all you people saying "World at war izzzz sooo much bettaz!" Shut up, this game was released 2 years before that, this isn't even classified as a real call of duty 3 game because of the teamwork that sets it apart. Unlike other Call of duty games this one uses teamwork and vehicles not running around with a M16 killing russians getting to level 50.
