HELU CHRISTINE! HOW ARE YOU- I WISH I COULD WATCH AND RATE ALL YOUR VIDEUS, THEY ARE ALL FANTASTIC. GREAT IMAGES OF BEAUTIFUL HORSES HERE * * * * *,MEGAHUGS, jack
Debbie was far more popular in the US and Canada than in the UK, but THIS song was played a LOT on the radio, especially during the morning shows in the UK, and it was quite a big hit (much bigger than in North America).
Thats so good of you to return to my video Dan.. after the youtube nonsense and all.. well its playing now anyways.. no worries my friend, I know your busy. Thanks and I agree on the feel of freedom ! I found that with a lot of her music.. fun and open, free of discrimination.. and come to think of it the horses look free too!
lol thats funny Clarence.. but its probably true that only some groups knew of her more than others. I think she's referred to as having out done Britney Spears in pop music.. but Debbie came 20 years before !!
It makes me happy too!! Thanks so much Bertie.. your comment is very nice. The song is is about a young girl who likes and accepts people.. all people.. thats what I heard on another video of hers. Its an uplifting song, and I am glad it made you happy and smile too :)))
Glad you enjoyed it Dawn ! Thanks for your kind comments as always :) I got into the horse pics for when she says "jump" and it worked out! lol. Have a lovely day sweet friend, blessings to you and yours xx
Wow!! thanks for bringing back the memories when I was still in elementary!! LOL!! but I have already love this song. I love all of her songs. Red hat, Out of the blue, etc. Thanks Christine for the nice pics and the song. Awesome job!
Your so welcome April.. I'm happy to bring back memories of childhood and music. I would like to post more of hers (since you and I love them!) but not for awhile, as I had a little trouble putting this one up. Another great song is 'Who loves ya baby'.. have you heard this one? Thanks very much April!!
What a lovely song, I was reading your info & could picture her sat writing the lyrics, I think it gives you a good view of how the world appears to you at that time, It holds a kind of innocence, Great Pics also Chris :)xx
Its nice to hear you say this Tone.. I thought the same of her writing this as a teen and the innocence that goes with seeing the world through young eyes (I changed my wording in the info section a bit). Funny though, I saw her on a show we have over here called "Where you at now baby?" and she is all grown up, still composing, very into yoga and meditation (not pop), but I'll always remember her this way.. oh great memories!

This music reminds me how happy things were way back in the 80's...and I'll have to say Debbie and her peers are far better than singers today.

@slyflight The freedom of the 80's...better than how things are today. Was carefree back then. Love this song!
