  • Wyatt used double bass drums most of the time he played

  • what a fucking shame one of the greatest drummers loses the ability of his legs..

  • Where does it come from?

  • that "shield" cymbal looks really cool, but I never see Wyatt using it :(

  • I thought Robert Wyatt was a single bass drum player?, looks like a double kit here.

  • Robert effing Wyatt!!!!

  • Ayers surely looks loopy here |\◢`Ŀ ◣/|

  • THe soft Machine period! with Kevin and Robert...after..it was...B'''

  • Wish I could get the entire unedited version of this !!!!! Soft Machine I would be an album I would take to a deserted Island

  • i love everything about this. x

  • What the Fuck!

  • absolutely devastating!!!!!!!! Wyatt-- one of rocks finest drummers PERIOD

  • gotta love the bass playing raccoon

  • What fuzz pedal is Mike Ratledge using? There's a good shot of it from 0:57 (when the camera starts moving to Ratledge's side) to 1:07, right next to the Marshall Super Lead that's on the floor. You'll see it under Ratledge's organ bench (to his left). It looks like a Sola Sound Tonebender. I know that Keith Emerson used a Fuzz Face in-between the Hammond L-122 & the Marshalls during his organ smashing & to drive the organ sound back when he was with the Nice (I think it was a PA 100 he used).

  • As for the music...it's pointless to say anything. Great as expected! But what really amazed me is the quality of the video!!! 1967!

  • i love this song O_____O

  • I would like to get/buy/see the unedited version of this. Anyone know where to get it????

  • I saw this trio. They were the greatest!!!. . .The very definition of 60's jazz rock. Check out Ratledge as he burns up the Lowery keyboard! Man, I bet it was deafening in that studio!

  • I was fortunate to see this incarnation of soft machine open for jimi hendrix. thanks for the video

  • Phenomenal. I can never understand how Mike Ratledge's unique keyboard was not more feted.

  • Greatest band ever! Thank you SO much for this.

  • awesome video quality, much better than the version that was already on here!
