Just because a lot of people don't know what Mormonism is - it still doesn't make Mormonism TRUE. The beliefs of Mormonism are completely Anti-Christian - in many ways, it is Humanism run wild. Are Mormons nice people? On a case-by-case basis - They are no nicer nor nastier - than any other group of people.
However, LDS church authorities DEMAND to be called "Christian", yet, LDS doctrines are ANYTHING but Christian - such as "Mormons can become Gods" and "God lives near a star called Kolob".
Joseph Smith: Polygamist with 34 wives who claimed all Christian churches are WRONG, all Christian beliefs are ABOMINATIONS, and all Christians are CORRUPT. Mormons believe only THEY get to live with God - in what they call the Celestial Kingdom. Until 1978 Blacks couldn't be priesthood holders - which disqualified them from living in the Celestial Kingdom.
Instead of mocking people for what they don't understand - why don't you tell the world what Mormonism is REALLY about? It isn't pretty.
Mormons think it is funny that the majority of people think that they have these "strange" beliefs. However they never argue that things like their belief in things like; eternal polygamy (if you lucky you will have many wives in heaven), God lives with his many wives on a planet called Kolob where he has sex to make spirit children, that the Garden of eden is in IL, that you need to know secret handshakes to get into heaven, and that Lucifer and Jesus are brothers is. . . . ."normal".
