  • Iam sooo glad that first horse bronc video... the man didn't get up, i hope he got hurt no offense to anybody;)

  • toastbitten is an idiot.

  • i don't think that a horse enjoy rodeo...

  • Its ridiculous how much Horses love doing this. They crave it once they do it the first few times. And when it comes steer wrestling, that doesn't hurt the cows, as long as the wrestler is careful.

  • @12fatbaby It would be more enjoyable for the horse if it wasn't getting stabbed by spurs :/

  • @MissLithiumLilly I'm not talking about the bronks. I have never liked that. But if you think the horses ridden for roping and wrestling are getting "stabbed" by spurs, then you obviously don't know how spurs work. There are more than just one kind of spur, and they are all used for different things. Most of the spurs used by these riders are known as Baby Rowls, which have rounded edges, but give a more powerful kick, or help get the horses attention. They don't harm the horse if used properly.

  • @12fatbaby My mum has owned horses all her life and has never had to result to spurs. I've owned horses all my life and have never seen the point in them. If you NEED to use them on your horse, clearly you need to built a better relationship with it. But I was talking about the people that DO use them as a torture device. I've seen horses pretty beaten up thanks to some "gentle" spurs. It doesn't matter how blunt an object is. Enough force behind it can really cause damage.

  • @MissLithiumLilly if you actually want to get any work done, or ride in a discipline, some horses require you to wear spurs. it does not harm the horses if the spurs or used correctly.. spurs should be used as an extended heel, and only when necessary.. i hate rodeo bronco riding and its just sick to begin with.. who cares that they're wearing spurs, they have a strap squeezing the horses balls!

  • @MissLithiumLilly When these horses go into the box, the last thing they care about, usually, is the rider. They are focused on what they have to do next. I wear spurs on my horse, but only because when she goes nuts, and is excited for an event, I need to be able to get her attention. Spurs are usually not used as a torture device, or used to hurt the horse. Some horses are dead sided and need that little extra just to be able to feel your feet. So you can think what you want, but spurs help.

  • i just wish they didnt have the spurs on the bucking broncs..... then i might be more enjoyable to watch for me.......

  • @thaiequestrian99 The spurs aren't even sharp. So I fail to see what's wrong with them. Free rolling as well. All they do is ruffle the hair of the horses.

  • why did the horse not kicked him!!

  • I think thoes Cowboy's rode pretty dang good! ;)
