People don't realize how important general aviation is in their daily lives. Food can be delivered fresh from opposite parts of the country. Mail is delivered via air. Agriculture depends on aircraft. Medical air transport saves lives when seconds count. If the cost of flying increases, your groceries, mail, and medical costs increase with it. Some of the above are not even possible without general aviation!
