  • John McCain manga got my thumbs up. That is a money idea, righ there.

  • @weatheredpeach we pick the two main candidates out of tons of political figures

  • 2:37...That's Revy isn't it?

  • Yay for giving PETA the F*** You!

  • I totally love how the average american (and it does come across like freedom IS choice to alot of americans) get to choose between two candidates for the top possition of the political system. How is such a small selection of options ever going to be adequate? Perhaps I shouldn't say anything as we completely lack a correponding position here in sweden. (Our King has no political influense what so ever, and he is the representative for our country)

  • I can't really do that with my all time favorite character Mobius 1 from Ace Combat 4 mainly because he has no personalty...or voice ...or a face. It'll be like interviewing the planes. ((A-10 Warthog by the way, die hard republican))

  • PETA kills about two thirds of the animals they save. Just throwing that out there.

  • that peta thing reminds me of a sketch off that mitchell and web look (british sketch show) in which a peta like organisation goes around murdering people to save animals

  • @KantorekBaumerB14 Not just a sketch, man. Ever heard of the Animal Liberation Front? They firebombed a university lab because one wing of it did animal testing. And PETA has connections with a member of it.

  • @Arithmancer1 i actually got the sketch the wrong way around ( memory like a sieve) they are actually human rights activist who take inspiration from animal rights activists (the fire bombing) and so they start maiming dogs and burning sheep.

  • ...I missed the whole thing, 'cause I just don't get politics

  • Outcooling Canada!?! It's Australia you have to watch out for!

  • @Rankerquat yeah... cause the most venomous backwards country in the world is something anyone should try to outdo.

  • Wait, Bridget, a lone, well-armed, traveling bounty-hunter, is a democrat? I thought that in the post-collapse future he would be more of an anarchist or conservative. He was raised by nuns after all.

  • I LOLed at Ron Paul and Nader.

  • Daxter would vote for himself, Jak would be an anarchist.

  • tingle votes for ralph nader

  • John McCain actually is in a manga, it's called, "My Neighbor Taro-kun."

  • @LordToast

But that one doesn't count since it's hentai, therefore it doesn't have such a good story.

  • @noteXpachiz

    O.O

  • @PlaystationMasterPS3

Rule 34 mah boi. The internet will rape anything resembling innocence you have.

  • I'd buy a manga about McCain...

  • having a black guy for a president doesnt make us any better or cool bob. it doesnt mean anything at all. your skin color doesnt allow you to do your job better.

just gimme a president that can do the job i dont care if hes fuckin purple

  • @skugglerthrash You're kinda missing his point... It's not about being cool or any better than anyone else. He's saying that we have REALLY come far as a nation when it comes to racism and the like over the last few decades. The fact that this country, even with all the racism that still exists, even had an African American president ELECT speaks volumes of how far we've come in terms of tolerance and understanding.

  • @chosentonessournotes no hes making a big deal about how a black president was elected and i say who gives a damn what color he is? your skin color has nothing to do with your character or integrity. and ill say it again. i dont care if hes fuckin purple with sprinkles and poka dots. can they do the job? obama has already proven what he can do though lolz.

  • @skugglerthrash Well, you obviously haven't watched any of his other videos, because he talks so much shit on Obama it's hilarious. Sooo yeah, I'm right. You're wrong.

  • @chosentonessournotes yeah you dont sound childish at all:)

  • @skugglerthrash Childish? No. Childish would be assuming that Bob thinks he's cool just because our country has a black president. Childish is feeling the need to say, "I DON'T CARE WHAT SKIN COLOR YOU HAVE. BLAH BLAH BLAH." I'm just stating facts, bro. He's saying that our country has come a long way in electing a black president, considering that not even 40 years ago the thought of a black president would probably end up with someone being killed. Quit being so ignorant.

  • @chosentonessournotes u mad bro? there, there dont get all butthurt meow

  • @skugglerthrash Okay, nice try at being a troll homey. You fucking suck at it. I just pointed out why you're a fucking retard, so I'm pretty sure I have no reason to be butthurt.

  • @chosentonessournotes haha you got mad homey <3

  • Oh yeah, well where's your female head of state. Here in Europe we have at least two at the moment, and we've had several over the years.

  • McCain isn't all that awesome. Just look at -how- he divorced his original wife.

  • hahaha this still rules

  • America did out-cooled Europe in WW2 it's true, but Russia out-cooled America, and then the USA out-cooled everyone by going to THE FUCKING MOON.

  • episode 14 is when he started whoring himself out..

  • I'd actually see Knuckles as being more Republican since he generally has the stance of wanting to be left alone and have as little interfering with his life/job as possible. Even though, I think even he would see the main political figure heads of the Republican party being kind of nuts, so sort of a Liberal Conservative. Sonic and Tails could be seen as more Liberal. Hell, maybe that's the main source of animosity between Sonic and Knuckles :P

  • I wonder if the, currently, 31 dislikes are from PETA viewers.

  • This guy needs to run for something

    SERIOUSLY!!!!

Thumbs up if you think so

  • Well shit, turns out we're omnivores like a lot of other ANIMALS in the world.

Until they propagate to prevent animals from eating meat I won't give them a sliver of credit. Then again, if they did, I would still call them assholes for the negative stereotypes they help paint of vegetarians as well as for a shitton of other bad things they do.

I ain't a vegetarian myself but fuck, nobody should be chastised for their eating habits.

  • Just curious...why mention Knuckles as a Democrat but not Sonic or Tails?

  • YES! You got it back, you got your style back... for a moment you went a bit whiney but this episode was back up to the original quality. Well done. You may make a loyal viewer out of me yet.

  • I think the reason PETA went after "Cooking Mama" was because they wanted to go after the target audience of game, mainly children. I hate PETA as much as the next person, but going after Cabela's hunting games (which are for adults, and the whole point of the game is to kill animals) would be logical to spread the message. Cabela is a hunting equipment store. They rather go after the impressionable children and let them know that you cook animals in that game, in case they were not aware.

  • somonemake that game/manga, 1 issue would be awesome, wudnt need more.

  • I hope you were joking when you redefined "liberal" and "conservative"...

"LIberal" originally referred to "liberty" of the individual, but American politics inverted it's meaning to mean quasi-socialism.

"Conservative" originally referred to "conserving" the status quo.

  • @shaurz Yeah, what he described was closer to "leftist" and "rightist." Although his description of libertarianism was right on.

  • @shaurz Conserving the status quo? Do you know what conserve means? It is not synonymous with preserve. Please, use your brain when trying to critique someone else who tries to use theirs, otherwise you get comments like this... Sorry.

  • @CatOnFire –verb (used with object)

    1. to prevent injury, decay, waste, or loss of

  • @shaurz Nice use of a dictionary while completely missing context. It's used to represent managing that loss, usually in conjunction with energy, matter, and/or time. They were trying to preserve. To keep something the same, to keep it from "going bad" or changing. Not to prevent losing matter, energy, or time.

  • @shaurz ...but American politics inverted its meaning to mean quasi-fascism.

  • MC CAINN HAHAHAH nice 1!

  • PAILEN SMOKING HOT?! EEEEWWW

  • What is veterans day exactly? I'm british and (for want of a better word) celebrate Rememberance Day.

Is it just the american thing where you rename stuff so that you can in some way call it your own e.g. Football-Soccar, Pavement-Sidewalk, Bin - Waste Paper Basket (British joke sorry, Dude calleed Michael Mcintyre) or is it actually a seperate occasion from rememberance day?

  • I'm sorry. All I can hear is Link playing "Cat Scratch Fever" on his orciana. AND IT IS AWESOME!!

  • What would Cloud vote for?

  • dude, the mcain shit...you could write for a network tv show...then get it all pushed back and do extremely generic jokes. seriously AWESOME.

  • Link is Ted nudget! but what is frank west and Chuck greene(deadrising)

  • McCain teh Manga? LOL. XD

  • @NodDisciple1 actually, there's an H-manga that features McCain and Obama. It's kinda crazy and awesome.

  • PETA is a horrible organisation made up of liars and is getting intensely near being terrorism >.> Seriously, you should go see the Penn & Teller episode on them, it's shocking. I'm proud of being a vegetarian, but they make me feel ashamed whenever I'm associated with them.

*waves WSPCA flag* People, support the organisations that don't spread lies and give animals a far shorter time to get adopted than any shelter would.

  • god, i cant remember the continue screen with the ninja and the sawblade at 2:02, can some one help me?

  • games the cause of poverty we gamers are underachievers fuck u first black president or not why attack us out of the blue what the fuck what about those fucks who spend all day watching csi no one says anything about them but then when we are playin sum megaman X we are underachievers wtf

  • thanks to you, propostion 8 is the most googled proposition

  • As an international viewer (Mexican), I really don't understand your american politics to be honest. This maybe moronic but choices in your country is about pick the luxury car: Mercedes or Lincoln.

In my country is pick your poison: Snake bite, coprohagia-caused septicemia or famine.

  • Now how could liberal (from liberty) mean more government, which is more rules and therefore less liberty?

Liberals don't call themselves liberals, but progressives, and conservatives, well, objectively, they should be the Privatise(e)rs. Like private military, Blackwater/Xe, private Health Care and the plans to privatise Social Security, and after that, everything else until there's small to no government.

    Ok tnx, done disagreeing.

  • I'm sure someone else has commented on it, but that is not what liberal and conservative means in Europe, or in philosophy..

  • 2108, Texas will make Obama a white guy name Benjamen Harold Oakley.

  • I wonder how Master Cheif would vote hmm....

  • how would of samus voted? or sonic and shadow?

  • lol

    PETA! GO FUCK YOURSELVES.

  • Dear god I love this one. The comparison between Link and Ted Nugent just made me lose it. I now cannot stop picturing him as a country music star in his spare time. I think the correct term for him would be "crunchy con". He probably makes muskets and collects old bibles as a hobby.

  • too bad all those counties have already had women leaders... guess who hasnt?

  • How would scorpion a democrat? Someone explain that one to me, plz?

  • @HectorOfTroy1986 He was just throwing that in for comedies' sake.

  • That bit about Clay Puffington was very funny but the most hateble human character I can think of is Peggy Hill from king of the hill, No since Cruela Davil or Ursula has there even been a woman so self-absorbed and very unlikeable, I still love the show and find it very funny but its so unenjoyable seeing her act like such a straight faced hypocrite like when shes acused of celebrity assult and Hank's "Expected" to side with her while when he's acused of "Real" Racism shes the first to shun him

  • Gordon Freeman: Anarchist

  • there needs to be a new starfox space ship game, i likes the 1st 2 so much

  • Lies. Liberal does not only mean "A lot of".

  • Coat hanger was uncalled for! DO NOT WANT! You should have just shown a crying baby! O_O

Other then that really AWESOME VID! ^_^

  • 666 ratings. Wow.

  • @Nellis4543 oh god! A NUMERICAL INEVITABILITY! ITS THE END OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • @ridjf 2012 WILL BE RENAMED 66612...OR SOMETHING.

    AAAAGH

  • Well of course single-player video games come off as Libertarian fantasies. In games, the player really is the only important person in the world, which was literally made for his benefit.

For a better comparison, look at an MMO. Those are full of regulating and balancing and patching, because they have to make sure that most of their thousands of players are having enough fun to stick around and pay the monthly fee. It's a single-party system, where the choice is "vote for me" or "ragequit".

  • Palin is actually kinda hot for an older woman, she's just not that bright. That's just about the only reason she was nominated for Vice President. Besides, what does the VP actually do besides standing there looking pretty?

  • What does the Vice President do beside looking pretty? I'll tell ya, he/she runs the Senate. Yeah, that is their job in a nutshell.

  • From what I see, Obama isn't bashing video games as something responsible for underachievement, unless it's done too much. Almost everything's good, or at least safe, in moderation, like video games. He's just talking about parents who let their kids play video games, while they don't do their homework. For instance, I don't play for hours at a time like many people do. I usually play for 15 minute to 1 hour segments.

  • I always thoug Avalanche were anarchist... you know the "let's blow this fuckers away whit home made pipe bombs, Ceberino Digiovani" anarchist way...

  • Who did you say for Tingle? "Nater"?

  • @Rubberman202

    He said, Nader

  • @Rubberman202 I don't know. Why is Metaknight a Ron Paul supporter?

  • Ive thought about this aswell... games are about inidivdual goals

  • when it comes to politics, I'm a social democrat. Nationalisation for the Win!

  • at 2:28 he's talking about sarah palin right?

  • @DashTyro yes

  • fully agree with you on the topic of why in all hell someone thought it was a good idea to have cod come out on veterans day. who in the right mind would do that. sure they put out the last few cod games on or around that time. but.....why? just out of respect

  • What's with the norman Rockwell

  • 8:04 holy shit that really is fox!

  • PETA is synonymous to stupid.

You'll only get disappointed when you give them such high standards as attacking games that are blatantly anti-animal instead of cooking games.

  • I'm gonna eat a Baconator and play some Duck Hunt. Screw you Peta.

  • FINALLY someone elso who thinks the same about PETA.

  • ... Wow. I hadn't even heard of that stunt by PETA when it happened. Unbelievable. This just serves to cement my opinion that everyone at that fucking organization needs to be raped up the bum with a big nobbly stick.

  • @Sonicron86 big nobbly stick is now my new favourite word :)

  • lol at tingle = nader.

  • Also, some of the earliest accounts of those words show that they were primarily used in a political sense, not in a quantitative sense.

  • Looking at the etymology, the quantitative meanings are an off-shoot of the original meanings, not the other way around. Liberal comes from the Latin liberalis, literally meaning "another type of freedom". So, liberal is derived from "freedom", which is why when someone says a liberal amount, it's more like freeing up or liberating the amount used. Conservative comes from the word conservare, meaning to keep safe altogether. So conservative implies keeping something safe, ie the traditional.

  • Freezes at 4:52 for me...

  • 9:30 minutes World at War was RELEASED on Remembrance day

  • I frankly think patrick warburton would be good as fox. or dr.light

  • omg picture at 1:18

    thats sad

  • Link = Ted Nugent?

    FUCKING AWESOME

  • Anyone else think this guy needs his own radio show?

  • Maybe but more so I think he deserves to be our front man, the walking talking proof that gaming isnt for the unintelligent Shut in Rageaholics the media likes to portray us as.

Yeah its up to us to lead a better example something Id like to think ive done my whole gaming life but without a Jimmy Haffa or Doctor King type leader to rally our collective cause then it becomes a harder PR battle then it should be since passionate people look up to smart charasmatic people, I think Bob counts.

  • I'd hate to say it, but I think Megaman's a republican. Reasoning? At the end of one the arcade games, he talks about how he could have negotiated with the other robots but then reasons that sometimes the bad guys have to be destroyed for peace to exist. My heart sank at the end of that.

  • McCain should have his own manga

  • O_O"

  • Also, King Dedede prefers absolute dictatorships!

  • no race is entirely pure. everything has a little bit of something else in it

even the most remote tribes of africa. there is No "pure" black. there is no "pure" anything.

i don't think it matters if he's half white, half black or half fricking alien.

    he's the real deal!

i don't know if he's doing a good job or not but he's trying and That counts more than his race does.

  • I don't get why you went "Oh quit it." Fox McCloud makes sense as a conservative/Republican, why would anyone think otherwise?

Also, I disagree about the John Wayne voice.

  • To be honest, I think video games follow the classic mid-8th century Whig party "screw you, tyrant [George II]" political mentality than any political movement. After all, what recent revolution wasn't like that? Big evil government vs. oppressed people is just simply a universal conflict. The same goes with good government vs. terrible revolution (ie: The rise of the Nazis [which could go both ways], multiple genocides, the WWII Axis conquest to take over the world, etc).

  • US meaning:

Liberal = Big on democracy, but wants limited freedoms (ie: bans guns from all non-police or military people, limited speech/protest rights) on certain things, & wants a bigger government (that controls a lot, but far from everything, with little or no focus on morals intervention.

Conservative = Big on democracy, wants minimally government intervention, & is big on morals.

Socialist = wants everyone to have "equal" jobs with equal pay, & wants the government to run everything.

  • Thank you, that was very educational.

  • Okay, so I'm a bit confused here... In America, you use the term liberal for someone who supports the idea of a 'strong government', a government with a lot of responsibilities. In the Netherlands, this term means someone who believes that the state should give the people as much freedom as possible (liberté in French). A socialist on the other hand is someone who thinks the state should be given a healthy amount of power to solve problems in it's country.

  • Comment removed

  • here's the thing.

liberal = big on freedoms, asks for some gov't services, (by definition) does not push a moral agenda, though they do these days.

conservative = asks for little gov't services, big on freedoms, pushes moral agenda

socialist = big on freedoms, gives up a few for the sake of more gov't services. this is why liberalism and socialism are often grouped together by those fearful of socialism.

    there's also libertarianism, which...(cont)

  • ...is basically a conservative but without a moral agenda (by definition) but with expanded personal freedom and even less gov't involvement. this is a dangerous slope as personal freedom can often encroach on someone else's freedoms thus negating its purpose if done incorrectly.

fyi, i mostly focused on political categories in democracy there. socialism was added for the distinction.

  • @guybuddyson Socialism: Give up *a few* freedoms? *Big* on freedom? *pfft* Yeah right:

By definition, Socialism must ration resources, there isn't enough to go around in a gov't. Gov't don't create wealth, they take it from the economy via taxes. Economies create wealth. Gov't businesses by definition do not have a profit motive, because they are supplemented.

Encourages laziness, "Why work if I get paid regardless?"

Discourages work, "Why work if I loose more of my money to taxes?" (cont)

  • @guybuddyson

In private sector, able to fire workers for not doing job right. In gov't, impossibly difficult to fire somebody for failing to work or screwing up.

Free-market capitalism (not state capitalism, that's where the gov't and business cozy up, in free-markets, the gov't only regulates like a good referee) has the self-interest profit motive driving the economy. Lacking in gov't cause again, no profit motive, get's money regardless of how well job is done. (cont)

  • @guybuddyson

Therefore, Free-Market Small w/ small-scale Government = Vastly more productive society.

Socialism system = working but dysfunctional society

Proof? US vs. USSR. Rivals and equals in 1989. Funny thing is US had 250 mil people, USSR had 280 mil people, yet US was *far* more productive. Able to make military equal to the USSR *and* with tons of consumer goods to boot. USSR? Only good at military goods, very few, very poor quality consumer goods. Perfect example why Capitalism rocks.

  • The thing is both words are often linked to what the two major parties in your country are, so if the equivalent of the Democrats in your country differ in one of their principles, your meaning for 'Liberal' will be different. Am I clear enough? :S

  • What a fucking wonky video. Who thinks about what their videogame characters videos vote for. Props for getting out of the box, but woah, a little too nerdy.

  • what part of "overthinker" didn't you understand?

  • I was like, "oh no, where's he going with this" and then you made fun of Ayn Rand. :D

Thanks for not being one more Internet Libertarian.

  • It's a bit hard for me to understand politics, since im a teen from europe(sweden),But this was intesting. And Im a bit confused about if the democrats are for enviroment(ours is).Sorry for any miss spellings.

  • ...or at least a button... or coffee mug... y'know...

  • your VIDEO GAMES COME FROM JAPAN thing would make a great shirt.

  • I love how WWII games always start in either 1941, 1942, or 1943, & are all about the American side (who show up in the last 3 1/2 years), when the war "officially" started in 1939 (although Hitler's "reign" & "conquest" started as early as 1935). Seriously, why can't we have a WWII games start in 1935? XD

  • Because it will piss off Americans. For example, W@W starts with the raid on Makin Atoll, right around when the Americans started to gain the tide of battle.

  • We have lots of them, but unfortunately, aside from the RTS-genre, the "roflstomping" of Poland wouldn't exactly be too much fun to go through in an FPS. D-Day, on the other hand, was a masterpiece of warfare, which I'll gladly play through a thousand times over, even from the same angle, just because it amazes me so much how it all came to be.

Unless of course you think it's nice to be a german trooper rounding up jews and setting up a border between the then newly founded Soviet/German border

  • You know what would be a fun game? Being a British S.A.S. trooper in Holland risking life and resources to jitterbug German troops and supplies to break and demoralise them so Francois Frenchypants can surrender to them anyway. And eventually have to withdraw and not be able to return to the continent until 1943.

No wait, that game wouldn't be fun at all. Never mind.

  • Prop 8.

    :|

  • if you played MGS games you would know they are very anti war. They have the patriots who rule the world and they created the war economy. You have Otacon and other scientist being used to create weapons mass destruction.Nanomachines,SOP, digital censorship, cloning, and even talking about what we should leave behind for our children. They have to read our messing history by the light.

  • Yay, Australia gets a mention!

  • Holy shit!!

Andrew Ryan is We R Ayn Rand????

    I had no clue!

  • Come on, Ron Paul isnt Dr Strange..

  • USA did NOT out-cool the rest of the world in WW2, they just turned up late. (sorry, just something that bugs me)

Other than that some cool points there.

Nice to see someone else noticing how daft PETA are.

  • I'm a vegetarian and even I think PETA can go fuck themselves.

Go volunteer/donate to an animal rescue you whiny bitches.

  • If Liberal means big government and Concervative small government why is it that Conservativism is always trying to expand government into the bedroom by regulating who and even how you can have sex? Or tend to increase the amount of government servailience of the population. Outside of the ecconomy Concervatives seem to like a pretty big government, and even then there's the tendency to give massive subsidies to traditional industry like coal and agriculture.

  • they are not real conservatives

  • WHo is that guy with no face that Moviebob keeps using, cause its gonna drive me insane if i dont know who he is.

  • It's called "The Question". He's a super hero from old comic books that I don't recall the name right now, and has been re-utilized in some super hero cartoons of today.

He's also the inspiration for Watchmen's Rorschach.

  • the peta thing was funny and some how...strangely truthful.

  • wow I wanna play mccain:the game now (the final boss is Chuck Norris, and will prove once and for all who is more awesome)

  • FUCKIN AWSOME!!!! U ACTUALLY HAVE AN OPINION THAT MAKES SENSE AND THINK U FOR THOSE FUN FACTS!!!!!! you r very intelligent and u should be a motivational speaker lol

  • snake voted for mit romney

  • my only thoughts...FUCK PETA. fuck them hard with a horse cock. n.n thank you.

Also activision's at it again with their douchebagness...want proof? look no further than any of the news revolving around the game BRUTAL LEGEND.

  • I'm a libertarian. And I never thought of this.

  • wheres our black leader hmmmm i don't know

but wheres your woman leader? the uk got one 30 years ago

  • one step at a time.

  • where's are black leader?

    hmmm i dont know

but wheres your woman leader the uk got ours 30 years ago

  • maybe because the UK has a fucking Queen, if she really had to run for the office do you really think the population would vote for her?

  • erm i was talking about Margaret Thatcher the queen rly dont do shit tbh

  • Well given that nobody voted for Gordon Brown and he didnt call a general election like he should have done, and the current british government is riddled with scandal. then yes you yankee twat., I rekon we would have, just to see.

  • I think I would get this episode if I were from the U.S. but I'm not and I'm not really familiarized withthe U.S. politics so I didn't really found it too interesting....

  • Hilarious calling of political leanings, but I'd disagree with you on DeeDeeDee. An ambiguously gay Penguin who has an oddly diverse army, is friends with a pink poof, and who has repeatedly tried to save his people with everything but military force doesn't strike me as a Republican.

As for Clay Puffington, you are right on. The reason given for cancelling Moral Orel is that the producer couldn't see Orel suffer anymore, but it would be hard to honestly say Clay had it any easier.

  • To be fair, I'm not sure how much more they could "do" to Orel after "Nature" either... which is why making Season 3 mostly about the adults and sidekicks worked so well... how many TV shows with LIVE actors could pull off "humanizing" a monster like Clay AFTER an episode where he shoots and torments his pre-teenaged son?...

  • ...I wish they'd been able to finish what seemed to be a big building-story with Miss Censordall. But for a "hurried wrapup" it was pretty inspired. Ironically, the last minute or so of that was the only time I can remember literally PRAYING for a happy(er) ending for a fictional character - which I got. I recall being shockingly moved by that Crucifix on the wall. No small feet, considering my relationship with the church. But it felt "right" that Orel DOESN'T lose his faith.

  • The weirdest thing, though: I never doubted Orel would get a happy ending even as the final season spiraled ever further downward. To have it all end on a bad note would have shocked me, and not in a 'brilliant plot twist' kind of way.

As for Clay not working in live action, I agree with you. Any actor's body language would give away that they know exactly how terrible Clay acts; as a stop-motion puppet, you can buy that he really is (mostly)oblivious to how horrible a person/his life is

  • plz don't hate on republicans

  • I'm sorry but, at 1:18...damn.

  • you did NOT outcool australia or canada.

    no-one can. especially not america.

  • you got that right. throw new zealand in there too. cough.
