I dont worry what others think, share, etc., I myself would see these guys over anyone of all the bands in the world. THEY ARE my FAV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will love them first and foremost til the end of time.
Does Steve use some kind of wireless thing on his guitar? I watched for a cord because his stage moves would seem like they would mess up your chord and i dont see a cord going to the amp so whats the deal?
hysteria its the same feeling i get when i c my neighbor this beautiful curvy girl unfortunately she already has a boyfriend but this is one of my favorite def leppard songs.
This concert is just amazing! It must be one of the best things I've ever heard. It's too bad he won't be around making boosebumps on my arms on Wembley 14th of December...
Gotta love steve spinnin around while playin guitar like a god... damn i wish he was still around, goin to see them on the 21st, it wont be the same....
I've been a 'Leppard fans for some years now, and it's just now that I've started watching some of the live clips of them. I've noticed that Rick often ( or always?) have his back facing the crowd. Is there a specifc reason for this?
@MrTheguyofbigbite Well for example in this concert, the stage is kind of a "circle" because there are crowd in every side of the stage. So if Rick's back is facing one half of the crowd, the other half will see his face.
Whoever ripped this took a 4:3 vidoe and converted it to widescreen.......which stretched it out on the sides, and it makes the band members look like Hobbits
I think Vivian is a very good guitarplayer but I went to see Def Leppard in 2009 and his guitar was allmost turned off.
You could only hear Phil, so why did they hire him anyways?
It's obvious that he can't beat Steve Clark (the man who came up with allmost every succesfull Def Leppard riff) but at least give him a chance, right?
Funny stuff it was actually Rick Savage who came up with the hysteria riff, he was just messin' around with an acoustic one day.. well and history was made I guess.
@MrDunkJunk Indeed. Search youtube for Def Leppard Wasted Download 2011 pro-shot video, Vivian rocks it on the solo. :D Shame he never gets to show off his chops though really.
@MrDunkJunk They hired Viv so Phil wouldn't leave after Adrenalize. He had to do every Guitar part in the album, and he had to mimic Steve's playing style, which, obviously, can't be done(though the album still sounds great), he would've left because of over-exhaustion from Leppard's overkill production(which is great). Only question is, when Pete was fired, Joe brought in Phil, because Steve didn't want to do every guitar part, so why didn't they hire someone before all that?
When the "Front of House" engineers do their mix and there's two guitars, they'll usually pan one on one side and one other the other. I guess it keeps the sound from getting muddled but that means if you're standing of to one side, all you'll hear is one of the guitar players. Were you standing closer to Phil's side than VIv's?
@MrDunkJunk Sav was probably messing around with the Die Hard The Hunter intro riff because the main Hysteria riff is essentially that. Try it out on the guitar.
@MrDunkJunk i went to see leppard in 2009 it was a great concert! i agree with you though you can hardly here vivian, but in my opinion i think vivian is a better guitarist then phil i mean he (phil) is great but vivan almost sounds like steve in my opinion
@acdcfanforever2 Vivian Campbell is a frighteningly good guitarist, but whenever someone is hired to replace a legend people will always look down them.
Best one two punch intro & guitar playing to an amazing song !!! These 2 tandem guitar players Steve & Phil where the best together ever !!! We fans miss you Steve Clark !!!
@elcid29 What's really cool is that Joe fills in on rhythm guitar when Steve and Phil do the dual solo. It really adds to the fullness of the recording.
@Ebbsos123 Yeah, that's just awesome :) But did you know that this Live CD was mixed? Listen to the soundboard and you'll hear the difference. The guitars sound even harder there :D
@Maria10x12 Indeed, it sounds awesome! They always wore the same clothes because they were on a "tour". The clips were cut out of the original Def Leppard - In The Round In Your Face DVD. All clips uploaded here come from the concert in 1988! :D
