It was exciting in the 80's when Jarre released an album or he was doing a concert, totally brilliant. You even showed an interested in what huge coloured coat he was going to wear on stage, or which members of he's synth gang he was going to have alongside him. But things moved on and I dont think he ever did.

He perfected it in the 80's, but 30 years on he hasent changed other than tweaking tracks like this beyond recognition. The showmanship is still the same, that classic look around to the band as if to count them in, yet we all know they are running to a sync track, him punching the air at random, scaffold towers behind him showing dull irrelivant images, and a huge array of gadgets sorrounding him with half of them possibly not even switched on. Saw him at Wembley years ago, could wait to leave.

Is it me or does Rendezvous sound cheaper and nastier every year he tweaks it. Respect for what he did many years ago, its just sad now that he's scrapping the barrel.

@splashdown300 Have some faith in this genius! He's the only artist in the world that keeps on making the original sound better and better (usually with other artists I always like the original the best). It's just that he's such a perfectionist. Also, he is working on two new albums and I can't wait to get my ears on them.

Se que el sonido de los vídeos de you tube son una porquería pero si les gusta la música y escuchan esta canción de un cd o un dvd original en con amplificador de marca (NO Sony ni LG en estos equipos suena igual que el You tube) y un buen par de bocinas dan ganas de ponerse de pie a aplaudir al terminar la pista.
