I remember seeing this in the theaters and being like "where's the Bond theme" the entire movie. Then this ending hits and it's like YES, Bond is back!! I still haven't seen a better ending to a movie in quite some time.
That gunshot scared the shite out of me at the movies. . . five years ago!? Where did that time go? I can still watch this and love it just as much as I did back on '06 :D
Dr No,Thunderball,The World is not enough,Casino Royale and Quantum of solace has got the Best Endings. That's because of the 007 themes used in their Credits.
This ending cemented Daniel Craig and Casino as the best Bond and best Bond film ever. Period. Seriously. You can see Craig smirking right before it cuts to black. He's like "hell yeah I'm the boss"
I have NEVER in my life wanted to cheer so much at the end of a movie. The ending to this film is brilliant on so many levels. For one, I bet nobody noticed the first time they watched Casino Royale, that Daniel Craig was yet to utter that famous line or that the iconic Bond theme hadn't been played at all in the movie until the end credits. Just fabulous.
@Rajplayer Yeah I completely agreed I had never noticed that he didn’t mention the famous quote until I heard it, which made the ending all the more brilliant!
@MasterGame12 Yup, I consider it to be the absolute best ending in the series. It's dark, gritty & yet you want to stand up & yell when Craig says the catchphrase & the Bond theme plays.
GO SKYFALL!

This is probably the best ending to a James Bond-movie, ever. Powerful, elegant and just plain badass. Love it.
To bad the sequel sucked ass, though... hopefully 007: Skyfall will kick as much ass as Casino Royale.
