Yeah I have to say, this is probably in my top 3 favorite AMVs I've ever seen. I'm a HUGE fan of the series, and Naruto is my favorite character of any anime series I've ever seen. What I love about the series is just how inspirational it is. The fact that a lonely cild who grew up with no love could go through life knowing just what he wanted, never wanting to get revenged, always trying to find friendship and peace within the world of warring he is forced to live in is just too touching. Most people I know think Naruto is an all-violence show that teaches us "fighting is fun". But it's not. It's the total opposite. I think it might even had made me a better person <3

Hm... I think it sort of fits Naruto, but fits a fanfic portrayal of Naruto a bit more.

Kishimoto doesn't seem to go into the painful aspects of Naruto very much, so we only get glimpses of the pain Naruto must feel so often.

It's called self injuring behavior. It happens a lot to people with mental problems...

Ok. Actually he had a scratch on his hand, which was caused by a poisoned weapon. In order to continue, he had to get rid of the poison (which works best by cutting the hand and get rid of the poisoned blood as well)
