I wish if Yaesu dropped WIRES button on radio, sometime I accidentally press it and start to sending DTMF on every transmission. I think that button can be TONE or Repeater shift button, which are more useful in US operation. once, people are giving away free software do same thing, it is difficult to people to buy WIRES system.
Why don't you explain once you got an internet connection how you hook to your web browser or does it work that way? This is a step by step on 1001 buttons on your Yazoo.

What you said was you were accessing the internet with your Yazoo, well you didn't make it clear that it wasn't going to be a typicla web experince, you are just extending your ham reach. You could have made that clear that this Yazoo can't access the internet to a web browser.
Not very helpfull at all except if your aiming this at expience HAMS.

Is WIRES even used in the US. I guess that would work with IRLP.
I have a coiuple of Yaesu radios and so far the WIRES function is just a nusance when it gets accedentally turned on.

@valhala56 This isn't for web browsing. It's for audio communications over long distances. It's a radio, not an iPad.
