I agree that as God's creation we will never comprehend the great love He showed us by sending His son. But we don't all imitate it to draw attention. I participate in an Easter play every year. It's one of the strongest reminders to my human heart that He sacrificed himself for me, and I must live my life for Him. I believe The Passion Of The Christ wasn't long enough. Most Christians couldn't watch 3 hours of an actor being tortured, when He suffered for days. Remember His death with His life.

i also believe christians are getting the wrong impression on what they should be 'following', they look at christ as an idol more than they should, and follow him because they think he will save them. im not one to say he wont, but they are missing a CRITICAL part, the part where they have to learn to learn to follow and have that inner happiness and inifinate love of everything, basically the God in each of us. imo, jesus was just a kind of prohet...
a prophet that was brought to show what people are made of, he studied buddishm, hinduism, viewed many forms of paganism etc., and that gave him an ENORMOUS aspect on the world and its people. to me, jesus was just a person to hold and be held, to idol and cherish, not to follow in his immediete footsteps, but to make your own. photos of him that show his head glowing represent third eye vision, what he learned, what he's teaching, and what most of us are looking past.
