  • How can a human guy kick and knock the gargoyles unconcious, and jump three stories without a problem, while other humans get their asses kicked?

  • i find it a bit ironic that macbeth is their enemy at this point but still he's a gentleman to elisa. makes him are to dislike.

  • haha I love the one-eyebrow raise around 4:25 haha

  • Macbeth = Cable from the x man.

  • Macbeth is probably one of the most badass villains in the entire series, though he only loosely fits the definition of villain at best.

  • "They call me..."

    (bagpipe cue)

    "Macbeth."

  • HUDSON BROKE THE FOURTH WALL!.........................and when the hell did they learn to play cards?....i find all that just awesome

  • when the heck did they boys learn to play cards?!?!

does anyone find it odd that GARGOYLES are playing cards?

    ...or is it just me?

  • i am a great fan but i think it's time for a remake... we have the technology now and it could be done so nicely!!

  • I know he's going to be evil, but...I find Macbeth oddly attractive. o.o

  • @panchelbel007 Thank god I'm not the only one. The accent is hot ^^;

  • Has anyone noticed that the day Xanatos gets out of prison is the same day that he saves Fox a year later. If you don't understand, then you will later in the series.

  • Did the animation sort of....deteriorate between this and the last episode?

  • @Blisterdude123 it deteriorates on the third seasons

  • That jail cell Xanatos has...I want it. It's better than my room.

  • 'They call me... *Epic bagpipes* ...MacBeth.'

  • What kind of jail cell was that?! it has a carpet !!! paintings !!!

  • @crazyjojo93 A cell inhabited by a really, really rich prisoner.

  • Hudson broke the fourth wall. HUDSON BROKE THE FOURTH WALL!

  • did anybody else see how hudson looked at us when he seen donald duck at 0:28

  • i like to read the way Goliath reads =]

  • 2:07-"My name is Macbeth" Don't trust him! Haven't you ever read Shakespeare?

  • For fuck's sake, ENOUGH with the "Inception" references!! This show CLEARLY did it long before they did, so just STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love that Hudson is able to watch authentic Disney cartoons on his TV.

  • hate to say it but this old guy's a bad ass, not very many old people can't skip stairs, let alone run :D

  • Cartoon in a cartoon? Animation

  • No! Not this creep! I hate this guy! MacBeth is nothing but trouble!!! him and demona!

  • ...... Could you call Donald Duck...... product placement?

  • >:DDDD yeeeees!!! Rhys-Davies is awesome!!!! He gets all the best movies.

  • i would never want to leave a castle on top of a sky scraper

  • 0:24 Quack Pack cameo!!

  • John Rhys-Davies is Macbeth! Gimli the evil!

  • Does anyone else notice how Goliath looks like The Thinker?

  • @auntyraray Lol you just gave me a crossover image. Goliath coming alive in the night and immediately going "Boom boom, fire power!!!" with the added actions! :D

  • He certainly likes electricity doesnt he

  • Macbeth just made the biggest mistake of his life.

  • @menslady125 Second-biggest. The biggest mistake he made occurred 900 years ago, and involved Demona.

  • @ztslovebird:

Are you sure? You sure it wasn't that he pissed Goliath off?

  • @menslady125 He magically bonded himself with the most violent, paranoid, and insane Gargoyle who ever lived and can only die if one destroys the other. I'd say that was a pretty big mistake.

  • @ztslovebird:

    Hmm...ya got me there.

  • is that Sean Connery??????

  • @creativechic92 John Rhys-Davies actually

  • Ever notice the symbol on the book is the international hospital symbol?

  • throughout this entire series there are 3 basic themes. Shakespear, king arthur, and star trek voices. throw in a few various ancient mythology references and you got a show, right?

  • @inyudemon

Still it works, I LOVE this show :)

It's 10 times better than most crap that is on TV these days.

  • @AnnMarieRogue i completely agree....i.e. spongebob(shudders)

  • Hudson watching Donald Duck. IT'S DISNEYCEPTION!

  • @MalloryBlakk Yo Dawg, I heard you like Disney, so we put Disney inside your Disney...

  • WOOHOO and here comes the beginning of the ridiculously innumerable Shakespearean allusions

  • donald duck made a camo appearance in this episode.

  • The title of the episode sounds like gay porn

  • @Mladost4ever it's a reference to MacBeth which happens to be a play therefore it's a very fitting title

  • @LeyliaFireheart i know brah, don't be mad xD i'm just kidding, love the gargoyles series, watch at least 2-3 episodes a day ^^

  • @Mladost4ever ^-^

  • @LeyliaFireheart :* xD

  • Lexington is just to cute when he's sitting on the table like that. lol

  • An odd but very interesting contemporary portrayal of Macbeth, him having been involved with gargoyles before and even had a friendship with Demona for a time.

  • you know what? why doesn't elisa just tell him to move somewhere else since he's still under that spell...he's only acting "normal" because she told him to...just sayin' :)

  • anyone else think the symbol on the book at 0:51 looks like caduceus maybe it's just me...

  • OMG- 3:01 goliath breaks out of hudson's stone form

  • @art4thecure1

No, it isn't. It's just a poorly executed transition back to Goliath.

  • That's an...awfully nice jail. XD Full furnishings and everything.

  • i thought it was like a sci-fi. gues not.

  • of course goliath can't beat macbeth, he's voiced by.... SEAN CONNERY!!!

  • @kyloco Goliath is played by Keith David

  • @pm12charlier im saying macbeth is sean connery

  • @kyloco WRONG! Macbeth is voiced by John Rhys-Davies. Gotta love that man. Though, his voice here IS very close to Sean Connery's. Unfortunately, I don't think Disney ever got Sean Connery to do any voice work. :/

  • @KitaraStrife ok, well anyone who sounds like sean connery is awesome!

  • @kyloco Nope, John Rhys-Davies (Gimli from LOTR, and Kassim from Aladdin and the King of Thieves> AS well as the Shop keeper from the Series You Wish)

  • @pm12charlier i know that lol.... im just comparing

  • The poker game betweeen Lexington and Brooklyn was funny.

  • Gotta be honest, I absolutely love the variety of music they put in this show.

  • lol. daffy duck. hahaha! I haven't seen him in a long time. :)

  • @lcrs50 um...that's donald duck...

  • @YamisPrincess I think was that "new show" where it was called the quack pack

  • Oh wow i never knew Goliath was a bookworm lol

  • Someone PLEASE tell me Sean Conery voiced Macbeth.

  • @ZephyrFiction Apparently, he was voiced by John Rhys-Davies, who is also known for playing Gimli in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

  • @Knowledgeseeker

I thought he sounded familiar. I only know so many Scottish actors

  • @ZephyrFiction Haha I wish.

  • what was he doing on that remote, pong?

  • 4:16, WTF is up with Goliath's face?!

  • JOHN RHYS DAVIES!!!!!

  • I love how deep this show is - you can clearly see that Broadway has become more protective after his incident with the gun.

  • I'm so glad Elisa has crutches for her GUNSHOT TO THE TORSO.

  • @MyGalileo7 yeah shouldn't she be in a wheel chair for a least awhile?

  • @johnnyfive222 i didnt know wheel chairs existed when this was made. learn somethig new every day :)

  • @HermesTori Dude, wheelchairs have been around WAAY longer than when this show as made! Ever hear of the old days of black-and-white television? They were around then, too. Been around a LOT longer than most would believe: since 6th century China.

  • @KitaraStrife wow. i was half-joking, but you sure know a lot of stuff !

  • @HermesTori Actually, half of that knowledge comes from Nurse Aide class, the other half comes from google. XD

  • @KitaraStrife nurse aide class? i´m in health assistance school and we just don´t learn stuff like that (... or did i fell asleep when we did again?) so your still all brainy to me.

  • @HermesTori Ahhh. Okay. :) Well, keep up the studies then. XD

  • My pain wasn't that MacBeth managed to designe something that could resist the gargoyles, it was that Goliath failed. This was the day my innocence died.

  • Xanotos, Demona, MacBeth, The Pack (ok, 3/5 of them were just nutjobs, but they were EVIL nutjobs that people love to watch going cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs); so many awesome Disney villains, and yet the only bad guy they have on Disney Channel now is a bad germanic hyperbolic stereotypical germanic physicist? How could the Disney Channel execs let themselves fall so low?

  • "They call me..." (bagpipe cue) "...MacBeth." LOL Gets me every time. :D

  • awesome, hudson is watching a donald duck cartoon :D i love this kind of humor :D

  • Why is Elisa on crutches and not using her right leg? I know she was shot in the last episode but it didn't hit her leg at all, it hit her internal organs. Oops. Thanks for the epiode.

  • @RoguePhoenix6 The bullet entered near her vital organs, but as it was pinballing around her lung, heart, and collarbone, it evenually landed in her spine. It didn't sever the nerves (thank God; imagine Elisa trying to chase after dirtbags and The Pack in a wheelchair, lol!), but it did cause some bruising. The doctors probably wanted her on crutches to make sure the nerves had some time to heal.

  • 1:36 "Something wicked this way comes."

Plus Xanatos gets out on Halloween. Hmm?

  • After having actually read Macbeth, I really wouldn't want to be a guest at his castle either. It probably wouldn't end well.

  • OMG! CASSIM FROM ALADDIN 3 8O 1:47!!! OMG!!! 8O

  • @AngelsHaven767

he's also gimli from lord of the rings

and he was in the first and third indiana jones movies

    he's john rhys davis

  • @2stupidloser2 lol Yes, I know, I've seen all of those movies, Cassim was just the first one that popped into my mind when I heard his voice :D He's an amazing actor.

  • @AngelsHaven767 Haha, Cassim was the first to pop into my head too, dear! XD

  • I sware that prison gaurd has the voice of Aladdins father in Aladdin 3

  • @XuanDi It is...John Rhys-Davies

  • LOL Hudson likes watching Donald Duck. XD Who would've guessed? XD

  • I love how that blonde haired business guy is so nonchalant about EVERYTHING! Geez! How much does Xanatos pay this guy?

  • ....what happens to the stone that falls off of them at night? i mean shouldnt there b like a huge pike of stone crumbs and stuff around each of thier pedistals?

  • enter macbeth as I'm reading hamlet

  • @xxMachineGunKellyxx I don't know about Golden Age of Cartoons, but this was doubtlessly a shining star of its era.

  • I love it when other Cartoons are watching cartoons it's soo ironic....

  • y is this macbeth guy so fkn strong and stuff

  • wow, they eat GOOD in that prison

  • wow xanatos is in a really nice prison...it looks better than some hotels i've seen xD

  • I'm always amazed at who voiced these old cartoons! Christopher Lee and I don't know his real name but Riker from The Next Generation!

  • @popsoccer09 who did Christopher Lee voice?

  • @TheDaltonSmith Macbeth, but I think I was wrong on my first listen. I believe it maybe Sean Connery, for some reason I always get their names mixed up!

  • Macbeth has the same voice as Aladdin's father in the King of Thieves! Wow I'm more excited than I should be :D

  • @angello882 it's john-rhys davis, great actor. He played Sallah in Indiana Jones, Gimly in Lotr and Paladin in Wing Commander among others

  • It wouldn't be a very long game if the Gargoyles played strip poker!

And is the voice of that one guy John Rhys Davis?????

  • @victimofaguillotine check IMBD

  • It wouldn't be a very long game if the Gargoyles played strip poker!

  • Does Macbeth work for the New York Sanctuary? :P

  • i never understood at 3:46 what are the numbers in the bottom right corner mean/for?

  • Elisa must be a total insomniac

  • do you think he got a conjugal visit from that buttler?

  • I'm jus waiting for Goliath to say "Ramirez!!"

  • I always thought Xanatos looked like Riker from Star Trek, I was pleasantly surprised when I found out it pretty much was!

  • The animation looks different in this episode o=...

  • @RuinofDarkness There were a couple different animation studios working on this show. one in america and one in Japan. in some of the episodes you can tell which company did it

  • @smallche1 Oooh! That explains it. Thank you :3

  • Mac fucking Beth. My favourite Shakespeare play.

  • The voice actor for Goliath sounds like Keith David's.

  • @Dollymiss75 keith david IS the voice of goliath, among other roles

  • @Dollymiss75 That's because Keith David is Goliath's voice actor

  • Anyone ever wondered where Goliath learned to read? Or who taught him?

  • @orlandobabe I'm pretty sure the humans taught him back in scotland. They tell you some time during the series. Couldnt tell you when though

  • Demona taught Goliath how to read

  • That Macbeth has an awesome voice. Is it John-Reese-Davis?

  • "A LEARNING experience" he was made a prison bitch lol

  • Hmm...but this intrigues me. Xanatos forgoes the easy solution of simply breaking the gargoyles during the day because "it would be a waste." They're of no obvious use to him (and they're costing him a fortune) but he still doesn't want to destroy them. He seems almost decent right then.

  • 4:27 Oh nooo! The raised eyebrow of doooom!! XD

  • C'mon... How is he throwing a Gargoyle?? And, big -** Broadway, at that?! Be serious... Then, he kicked Goliath across the courtyard. Hahaha, AND his plane has electric fence mode. They needed that in Hulk's first movie.

  • Goliath can smash through stone, solid metal, but he can't break through glass? Epic fail.

  • @Carlosperen lol i see what you mean lol how could they!!!

  • @Carlosperen There are transparent alloys in the world stronger than steel. Do you really think the cockpit of a hi-tech craft is made out of "glass"?

  • @ra55i10n Way to spoil a good giggle with common sense

  • @Carlosperen Maybe its a very durable type of glass?

  • @Carlosperen MacBeth has been fighting Demona for centuries; he knows the limits of normal Gargoyle strengths and weaknesses, and has tricked out his toys accordingly.

  • @Carlosperen

maybe it was bulletproof glass XD

  • @Carlosperen

Um, given that Macbeth is acquainted with Gargoyle strength well enough to take down the entire coven; I'm going to guess it's made to withstand Goliath's strength. Just saying. :P

  • I've noticed goliath's main pose is "The Thinker"

  • lol, The Quack Pack!

  • Man, even in prison, Xanatos gets high rate living conditions (for a cell anyway).

  • Okay, does Broadway sound like Patrick from Spongebob?? He never had much of a big part, so I'm only noticing it now...

  • Hey, Macbeth is Gimli from Lord of the Rings.

  • @ilovewarships he's also in the Princess Diaries II... the evil uncle guy...

  • @ilovewarships Your so right. i never thought of that before. cool.

  • major six packs....wow

  • There's a thought....Gargoyles making a cameo in Kingdom Hearts....Why the hell not? They already put EVERYTHING ELSE in there.

  • OMIGAWSH!!! That guard sounded like Sean Connery!!! *spazz*
