I have several Law Dictionaries... you would be shocked to find out how words in common use actually mean something very different in the Legal Language.
It is indeed a "spell" they cast onto the public, since they are ignorant of how the words are used and what they mean, they often assume they know what the definition of the word is however, the truth will reveal that "Legalese" is not "English", they are two different languages.
In Russian and Ukrainian languages those have different use that never mix together. To foresee is combined of two words equivalent to Engl. 'fore'+'tell'. But scientific is always 'prognose'. But if something is very doubtful [even with scientific base] then it also could be 'fore+tell'. Though, we have problems with other words, lol;)))
Well, i must admit that first time i watched the video i was looking at cat;) She is great! Extra tuna!;)
Runes are also very interesting. I study the subject for few weeks, it needs attention for sure.
Any psychiatrist will say that he should talk that language, which is understood by an interlocutor, not the language he thinks is right for himself. The point is to send a thought, not word. Sometimes words are played up and we should be aware of it. Great vid!
Ah Tina the cat, she is spoilt, There aren't many cats who have an home made tree ;-)) On "psychiatrist will say that he should talk that language" I must make a video to tell the story of the ventriloquist and the farm ;-))) Me and the Cat don't speak to each other in any form that may be commonly thought of as language yet we have come to an understanding on many things ;-))
By the way, my recent readings on hypnosis surprised me, because cats are considered almost as the etalon for that kind of doctors. To bring patients into a hypno condition, one should have undoubtful authority like Cat's;) Really mysterious animals.
I find language very interesting. By the way, it is debated amung Heathens weather runes were uesed to divine the future or tell fortunes in the way most use them today. I don't know what I think about that. There seems to be a greement that, while they were used for language, just as this text, they were also used for charms, casting spells, that sort of thing
A Bit like prayers and other such religious paraphernalia, even holy books ;-)) The words of a prophet are a forecast are they not? One of the points I am trying to make here is that the practise of many Christians who attacks others for their practises is in fact hypocrisy as they are often in essence following the same practise, I am also making reference to a few other things;-)) This is a follow on to the Infinity and beyond! video I post a couple of days ago.
Runes were never used in language, it is a sacred form of scripture. Later they were misused, but rune is not just a letters, it is a proper combination. Only few had that knowledge, and the rest were afraid to use them, because it can cause awful consequences.
Great explanation! You put enough words together , you get ideas. Ideas become predictions. Connecting the dots. Spelling out the situation. Forecasting.

by the way i thought that forecast is used only in cases that are descendental, otherwise 'foresee', right?
Cig187 3 years ago 2
descendental Twain? Sir Walter Scott said "Oh what a wicked web we weave when first we practice to deceive." Ah such is the problem with words ;-))
Foresee
Predict
make prevision
to improvise
The word by itself is just a word the act behind it often has a particular meaning to it use in that case which it has been used.

projection, prognosis...;)

BTW why you mention Mark Twain? All that my half-sleeping brain can come up with is his quotation. Something like:
'I don't give a damn for a man that can only spell a word one way.'

Fishing is fun because you never truly know what you will catch or even that you will catch any thing ;-)) Thanks for your comment.
