My Mother bought one of these and i had the 'pleasure' of having to care for the damn thing for 2 years, now she lives in somerset and i hardly see it... It is a VERY bloody irritating noise and would advise anyone to seriously think before purchasing one.

I now have 4 chickens which have absolutely restored my faith in keeping birds (bar these poxy things) and find them even more entertaining and rather relaxing!

Must be his/her hormonal season! They're known to do this daily for a couple of weeks a year, 2ce a year for most cockatoos. If it's a female, she's calling for a mate, if it's a male, he's displaying to attract a female. Don't encourage this behaviour. Umbrella and Molaccan Too's can become more aggressive each year during "the season."

You also have to understand the BODY LANGUAGE of a parrot. Chief may be screaming with ruffled feathers, but his eyes aren't pinned and he's not shaking or tense. In this video, I think he just wants to play or something.
