the console versions being of valve's future games really need custom map support. some sort of top picks section for user created maps that lets you download them directly to your console. i know pc master race but i prefer split-screen with the gamepads with family like i used to do in the snes though ps2 days rather than angry strangers online.

@ferretlord2177 Reason why Valve can't do much for Xbox is because Microsoft likes to penny pinch every dlc ever. Every developer gets 1 free dlc and it can not include achievements. If the DLC includes DLC they have to put a price tag on it. That is why Valve is getting Steamworks on PS3 (and hopefully 360 (Which I doubt they can)). There is Splitscreen for the PC version but its a bit buggy.

@OniNeoxes i know. which is a shame since xbox live is more stable and has faster downloads than psn. but paying them 60$ to get rewarded with much more limited entertainment options and services than free services such as psn and steam? i just got my 360 last year with a subscription but im definatly not resubscribing. why im holding out for left4dead 3 on ps3. at least then i'll get steamworks and a free pc copy.
