I like how Curse looks in this game. The Pokemon glows yellow repeatedly with lines repeatedly ascending around them, and it looks especially cool when Classic Regice does it. New Curse sucks with the generic aura as stat modifying. Really, GameFreak? You couldn't be more creative??

Pokemon Crystal. Not the best graphics. Few new pokemon. But lots of new ideas, including day and night, breeding and happiness evolution. Overall, a great game.

Pokemon Emerald. The music isn't very good. Some pokemons aren't too. Many G/S/C ideas disappeared in Gen III. But everyone must agree about this: The Battle Frontier is pure fun.

Each game is awesome, ESPECIALLY compared with D/P.

Both games are the best of Pokemon RPG. So, stop discussing! :D

I think the best would be Crystal, and the remakes are great, but something that I noticed was that Lance's theme wasn't as epic as it was in the original games for some reason, but I still enjoyed a whole bunch having your Pokemon walk with you... For some reason I didn't like Sinnoh or Hoenn that much, but I really liked some of their music... but gen I & II and their remakes will always be my favorite :D

Emerald was a piece of shit. Don't deny it. At least Generation II introduced some new features to keep the franchise fresh, but the third generation was absolute shit and didn't add anything new that was good, in addition to removing many of the Gen II features. Sure Ruby and Sapphire aren't Pokemon's prime, but still, Emerald gave us the Battle Frontier, and such. If GSC didn't have Kanto it wouldn't be so overrated. Oh and if you think I'm a 10 year old, you're wrong. I've been playing Pokemon since Yellow ( Lv. 100 Pikachu pwns lol) , and went up each gen. Generation 2 was amazing because of Kanto.

RSE had an epic amount of originality.

It came out with 135 pokemon, with only TWO being extra evolutions to other pokemon. The other 133 were extremely different from anything ever seen before.

DP came out with 107, and I'll let you count how many of them are relative evolutions.

You actually had to investigate how to do these things, it wasn't totally straight through and boring. DP had nothing like that in the game. Even GS had puzzles. RSE is much better than you give it credit for.

Actually, I thought that R/S/E were too damn easy.

I beat it with out capturing a single pokemon (I just used the mudkip I started out with, I won)

DP was the stimpak that the series needed to get me back in. Plus the pokemon in the fourth generation were alot more interesting.

Though, I will admit that the contest idea and the battle frontier, as well as the regi theme kicked ass. R/S/E cannot compete with Gold/Silver or Diamond/Pearl in my opinion.

Its just the Frontier in Platinum is identical to the one in HG/SS and the new forms couldve just been added in the remakes. The only other difference to D/P was the order you fought the dragon trio in and the Distortion World

The only problem with hacking devamped 3rd generation sprites into a pre-3rdgen game is that the pixel dimensions are drastically different. As a result, most of the imported pokémon are to large to fit completely into the allotted space. If you can skew the image to the proper size while still maintaining most the visual quality that you started with, then your videos will look much more professional.
