To answer a few questions, I guarantee he's singing about being Black in a white dominated subculture of Hard Rock and Metal. I take it that he's eluding to the fact that despite what some people think, he's no different than any white rocker. And he isn't. I love Sevendust because they don't just sing about nothing and they're music is aggressive as hell. It makes you wanna' stand up and blow off some rage. To my mind, this is what Metal should be.

Oh believe me, it can be slanted any which way. It could be between music genres, racial descrimination, bullying, profiling of any kind. It could also be about what Nancy Grace said about Sevendust influencing a baby killing or it could be about the attitude towards metal in general. He's like Draiman from Disturbed. They write in a way that despite the original context you can apply it to your own. Another reason I love both bands. I respect your comment though. Nicely done.
