Oh, Dube, 4 years since you died. how inspiring are your words. this song touches my heart deeply. its really true that we humans never appreciate what we have or the people around us until we lose them. Since i listened to t his music, i have learnt to appreciate the people and things around me.
No musician will have more meaningful and inspiring words like the Mighty Lucky Philip Dube. You left this world when we still needed you but JAH willing will meet in Heaven rock together for JAH. May JAH rest your SOUL in ETERNAL PEACE.
your humanity and your love are stronger than the killers and your messages are eternal hate cannot kill the hate only love can do that :) thank you lucky and rock on wherever you are.
Hearing des song makes me feel pains and tears all my face,i love u philp i will ways remember u in my life, meet once again in our father in heaven may ur soul rest in perfect peace Amen.peace

I would say this is my favorite until I here another of his song. God its hard. Still miss you. The best live performance ever! Thank you God for Lucky Dube...
its true,we see things we have as 'normal' and not 'privilege',till we lose it all,as the wise man is saying, and then one day we look back and say damn.......
We have not to cry for him, we have to follow his messages and make him happy right now in the heaven from where he is looking all of us to know if the messages are really understood. We have not to cry because the prophet never dies, cause he came for one mission and he accomplished all what he was suppose to teach us. Dube the spirit, Dube the teacher, Due the master, Dube the lover, Dube theONE
Do u know what pains are we having while you kill our prophets? He was an hero and will still be an hero. I allow you to destroy Reggae if he can. Don't you know that one monster dies another once comes alive?

I know that I will never miss water till the well run dry. When he was alive you didn't even like him. Now that he is dead! U just want to pliz people that u were also hurt ! What did you get to kill this man? A prophet was denied and killed by his own people.
lucky I started dying from your death day,you were my force ,power, inspiration ,my life in general.i can't keep on living without your musics,as u said in this you music you don't know wat u got till you loose it .but Africa is a mess and will remain a mess till it recognises the power and education of the reggea music.R.I.PEACE MY BIG BROTHER. lucky dube was a great musician but i am african and very suprised how south african blacks become xenophobic and they kill and treat other african so bad in their country after we help their azz to get through apartheid. stupid south african hate fellow africans in south africa. i hate south africanm and i really dont see them as brothhers anymore.
I'm still crying everytime when i played all his songs. We missed you and we don't know where to find you again LUCKY DUBE.Rest In Peace and may GOD bless !!!!
..never knew you'll leave so soon...missing the inspiration!! To your killers, guess they think they'll never die someday....God bless them like you taught us.
@freetznel You are right too! He is a legend who will live forever. Without Lucky Dube the world's well has run dry. What a loss to the whole globe. It is painful to live without him. RIP Rasta Lucky Dube!
Who had to kill such an inspirational man? Such a gift to mankind? Handsome, creative, heavily talented, down to earth yet so successful. I hope Lucky made a prayer of repentance in his last minutes and forgiveness for his murderers. It's possible to meet him again some day. Can't blame the Almighty for taking him away, but I miss him dearly...
Those beats make you feel like cying and move with emotions.....
Those instrumentalists made the rhythm of the music soooooooooooo sweeeet. I now know what I had in Lucky. Only good people die like animals. I feel this man's death. Lord, he should have lived longer
lucky you always with me my brother your music keep me going i keep praying for you to be safe where you are now your voice means a lot to as we all missing you here ......jah bless you and you family .i m still trying to accept that you not with as any more at the moment i still think that a new album will come from i respect you my brother peace and love to all of you my brother and sisters
strangely, this perfectly describes michael jacksons life and situation...we mistreated him until he died, then started calling him a hero! i am truly ashamed, especially as a lucky dube fan...rip to the both of u.
Both Marley and Lucky were both way head of their time, true timeless legends. Our spirits never die, not if we/life) were formed from our Maker's breath and became a living soul.
Lucky in spirit is still jammin up happy where ever he be. Ya God is great.
great song from a great man pick your cd up at a boot fair for 1 pound i thank myself i went that day because i had never of come to listen to your music. rest in peace total respect
He wrote this song himself. All of Lucky Dube songs were written by him beside songs that have been written and sang by other musicians for example "I want to know what love is," he is not the orginal singer for that song.
Sometimes i ask myself many questions about death . The cold hand of death have snatched our beloved Lucky . I believe in God and life after death. Farewell Lucky Till we meet again... God made us in his own image and take us back when we are through with his mission not our mission.. God is Great ...
You are correct PantheraAtrox , the will of God will always prevail till end of life. I pray Lucky Dube will be in the heavenly chior doing what God sent him to do in the world before he went back to out Father.
"I don't have prejudice against himself. My father was a white and my mother was black. Them call me half-caste or whatever. Me don't dip on nobody's side. Me don't dip on the black man's side nor the white man's side. Me dip on God's side, the one who create me and cause me to come from black and white."
Lucky oh Lucky, I love you! I'm sure I'm not the only one. Your legacy lives on...I still speak of you in the present as to me you are still here. RIP Brother!

Sadly, apartheid kept blacks and mixed-race people down for so long that now that there's freedom, there are still few jobs and opportunities, so crime runs rampant. How sad that mankind dominate one another so. May Jah bring peace to this earth--may his will be done is time. May we see Lucky again, in Paradise, when peace will be for ALL mankind.
Lucky, the duet I produced for you and Alpha Blondy entitled Humpty Dumpty (sitting on the wall)was completed and posted on you tube 4 days before you passed away. The song is a cry for opposition groups around the world to work along side ruling parties,in the interested of their nations.I will sing your part Lucky.I know you will give me more inspriration.I hope i will be able to sing it 25% as good as I wanted you to sing it.May your soul rest in peace.Rasta never die.

And now we lost you, Lucky. So unfair!
No artist's death has affected me as much as yours. I hope your death hasn't been in vain and South Africa may be a more peaceful place one day.
Rest in Peace, friend, you are a mentor to so many of us.
