i had a really bad experience with the sally hansen pen it was awful! my was really griddy and dry and the tip didn't fell like a felt pen should have.

the sally hansen nail art pens are water based. thats why they can rub off w/o a top coat. just incase no one told you :]

i love the art club but i use regular apple barrel acrylic paint a small bottle at wal mart is like $.59 buy the nail art brushes and the dotting tools and your set you can even mix the colors and acrylic dries real fast too and the colors pop when you apply the top coat i hope this helps i wish i could send you a picture of my nails so you can see them

what i didn't like about the sally's pen is that even after i applied my quick dry tc it was very prone to cracking and shrinking, it short of has a chalky text when it's dry, it was weird

Don't use a reg or quick dry tc...use a Airbrush tc...it will not break down the acrylic in the art pens polish which is not really "nail polish" they are more like acrylic paints. You should be able to find this at Sallys & also online from Trans. oh & side note, if you use a lot of white art polish it will yellow after your air brush tc dries completely use 2 coats of yellow out you can get this from Sallys or Trans too, it has a yellow brush handle/cap.

Actually , yea your konad tc should work cuz their art polish is acrylic, use it thick and try not to drag the brush to hard over the art. Yes Ma'am you guess right I'm Licensed, if i can help...feel free to drop me a note any time :)

i JUST used art club on my nails. When you open it up and use it, a glob of nail polish totally does drip down. So annoying. But i still love all the colors.

COOL review! I just got the Nail Star brand 2 way nail art pens today.  I attempted some art on my thumbnail and didn't do too bad. I like the pen end better than the brush part. I got 72 colors for $43 on ebay, so that's puts them really cheap, not bad! Have you ever had any of those?
