Two questions:

1: how is the realism with this? More or less so than Ace Combat?

2: Is there an addon to improve the graphics?

1. Depends on the addons, get a realistic aircraft that's detailed and go on a server with G force limits on and there ya go.

2. No, YS Flight is meant to be able to run on low spec computers. Aircraft models can be extremely detailed sometimes but just basically, if you want a detailed flight sim go buy one, if you want a free flight sim with a great community & tons of aircraft and maps then go with YS Flight.

this game is developed to run il slow computers that cant run Ace Combat or HAWX, to people that cant afford the high price of the CFS3 and to peoples that doesnt use windows.

Also, in ace combat 2 and 3 the acft can carry about 50 missiles. Now i ask, where is the realism?

That was exactly my point. I was asking if this game was like Ace Combat's realism or if it was closer in realism to something like Falcon 4.0 Allied Force.

Yeah, the YSflight is more realistic than the Ace Combat, as you have to select the loadout, start the aircraft from the ground, take off, track the enemy, launch some missiles or fire the MG, avoid enemy fire and land safely at base. In Ace Combat you start in the air, with a lot of missiles, destroy the target and the mission is accomplished.

you cannot, they cannot change formation in AI formation flight but u can tell them to attack air and ground targets or to circle something or land thats about it

It's not YSFlight that's crappy, it's Vista that's crappy! Vista wont run programs made for older versions of Windows. It's Microsoft's way of taking your money by forcing you to buy their newer programs instead of just installing the older ones that you already have! IMO you are better off with XP, despite it being a RAM glutton and an activation whore.

i haven't. it goes about 40 knots then it just stays at 40. i always start it out in the air.
