It's probably cheaper to buy, but not as effective as the Livescribe pen. If you are looking for commercial applications with digital pens, Google "simPRO Mobile".

It's pretty cool but I don't see what the use of this pen can be. It's just a toy doesn't help with anything really in my opinion. One thing though, it can help older folks use computer who don't know how to type or people with disabilities, they can just write it out. But for the general public what's the point?

@PiercingKnight I can see it being really useful for people like me who often make lists or notes on paper and then input those notes into a computer. I am not always at a computer, and I write faster than I type, so I usually work things out on paper first. Plus, I often am at client sites where I take notes on paper, and then sit in the hotel room in the evening putting the notes into e-mails, reports, etc. I can see this pen being a real timesaver for me.

Mobile note taker vs iogear, wich is the best one, does somebody know?

Im not really sure, for i am also looking at them to see which im gonna buy.

So far, what i see is, mobile note taker says you can take notes while away from your pc (according to this video), while iogear, i think you have to be plugged to the computes.

If anyone else knows something and can tell us if im wrong, please.
