  • Good video! I'm also thinking of replacing the tubes in my g9.2tt...

I was just wondering if it's a self biased circuit (no need to set the tube bias manually) because you didn't mention it?

  • @666VoMiT666 It doesn't say, but it is.

Just replace the tubes with 2 of the same type, and break them in.

  • @kagunmmm Actually these are preamp tubes. Power tubes are what you have to bias, but you wouldn't use those in an effects unit. All you have to do is put in whatever tube you want and power on. Preamp tubes don't have to be biased. Which is nice, considering that would be one hell of a nightmare to figure out, since Zoom didn't place any information on the tubes in the manual at all.

  • For how long will the 12AX7 tubes last?

I'm interested in buying one of this but i'm afraid i will not be able to find the replacement tube somewhere near (im from mexico)

  • @rambache Depends on the tubes and how often they're used.

  • Man my tubes on my effect pedal are starting to light up?? like whats that mean do yall know anything??

  • @guitarplayerbreck13 They're suppose to light up, but if they get bright then start fading that means your tubes are dying.

  • good video short + sweet, right to the point! def works and makes a difference!!!!!!

  • Phenomenal difference!

I'm disappointed that I've been missing out on this tone for all this time.

I feel like re-recording everything I've recorded with this thing so far.

  • cool vid! Was looking for such a tut!..

Please tell if the new tubes make a lot of difference.
