Glad to see this boat still in service. I remember a friendly intercoastal waterway race in the 1970's between this boat with Capt. Sinn at the helm and the boat "Buccaneer" (ex- Air / Sea rescue boat) with my uncle at the helm. Who won? Neither. Both boats were pretty fast for their size and neither boat was able to pull away from the other. This was the only time I've ever seen both boats at wide open full throttle. It's not a good idea to push them that hard, but once in a while it's fun!
