My aunt is a doctor, and she said that she has had patients who completely denied God their whole life, when they laid on their death bed suddenly they panic, they want to speak to a priest, religious leader, anyone...God is out there everyone.

Everything, absolutely everything you experience and feel is created by the electrochemistry of the brain. You can get a hundred eye-witnesses to a crime, all of whom believe they are right, and all of whom get it wrong - they've done this on stage, and it's clear our perception, no matter how real we may think it is, is not reliable evidence.

Pseudo-skeptics are fighting a lost battle - if just [1] NDE is true, then debunking [any] of them is a wasted effort - what NDE experiencers see and hear while out of body has been independently verified on [numerous] occasions. Realistically, what are the chances that [none] of those type of independently evidential NDEs are real?

In fact, it is not easy to say to the world "hi everybody, I am a normal person but about once a month I leave my body down at night and my soul, so fre!!!, fly away ! Where? I have no fucking idea but this is real! To me it is a FACT but no, I just can't prove it but my honnesty and to the world it is ... nothing!

I am quite smart enough to make the difference between a regular dream and an out of body experience, believe me. It's been happening to me without my aproval, it just happens .

Yes, it is quite strange. I was skeptical and used the monroe method to leave my body, and felt like a child in a new world for the first time. After a while of doing this it would just randomly happen, I wish there where more scientists willing to investigate the body spirit connection. I feel out of place sometimes, when i tell someone about it they say its a dream, but how can you just start dreaming while running laps in gym?

in 1992 my mom was in a deep coma and she was dead for few minutes and describe something like this she says she was floating in the room and saw the doctors and herself and i know her she is not lying and she never heard of this type of experience

How do they explain when blind people can see things going on? explain what they look like? Where things are located etc? They can't. So once again they make up something or say. WE don't know yet. I watched a video and one of the dr's wrote a letter to some scientist. They wrote back and said. When people say it's a mind illusion, I would ask why when you have 10 people take LSD, the trip is so completely different for each one. When people have vivd dreams with drugs, they are so different. How do you explain the vast similarities between NDE's. The commonalities are amazing. Why is there no other mind altering experience that is even close to the same similarities. The dying brain theory makes no sense. The non judgmental G-d, the tunnel, etc. Besides ALL the anecdotal evidence!

Firstly, illegal "tripping" drugs have different substances in them which will make you hallucinate different things (however alot of hallucingenic drugs do give people the experience of travelling down tunnels and visiting 'other worlds')..

HOWEVER - all humans have the same brain in terms of structure and the parts responsible for our bodily functions i.e the back of the brain controls vision.

....it makes a lot of sense why people have this similar illusion. There is probably an area (or areas) of the brain responsible for this experience. DMT is also one chemical released by the brain at the point of death, so do some research on that. ALSO scientists do not know how long consciousness lingers for when the brain has shut down, so these experiences which apparently take place when people are brain dead could be taking place due to deep levels of consciousness.

What does brain structure have to do with a large % of people saying an interactive life review and a non judgmental G-d. Brain structure wouldn't explain G-d being non-judgmental. Also, many report in the life review experiencing what they did to others in feeling what those people felt, actually being inside their bodies. Why such similarities in describing conscientiousness. This is from people who were blown away b/c it was so different than their everyday personality of greed or anger.

I've spoken to many people who experienced death first hand - people who were dead for some considerable time but thankfully were revived and none of these people experienced anything except unconsciousness. Only a small amount of people experience the nde illusion.

There is no evidence everyone dreams. This is a myth. I know some people who have never had a dream and I don't accept the point that they just forget they've had a dream as that doesn't explain why some people remember their dreams.

The strongest evidence I have had is from people I have interviewed who died and not one person experienced anything other than loss of consciousness. Nothing remotely spirutual occured. Nothing. Just void until they were brought back.

I don't need to anymore studying on this concept - the nde is merely an illusion - which I must add - occurs in some people even when they are not dead. OBEs for instance have occured in people in frightening situations. The NDE also refers to 'near' death. Not actually dead.
