I didn't care wen they tuk skins, Being Human, The Office etc, I don't even care tha they've taken King Arthur, Sherlock Holmes etc, but you can't take shows like Only Fools an Horses. U'll destroy a telly treasure. Its ours an no other can make it their own without making it rubbish in comparison. Only Fools and Horses is a big part of British culture, there is simply NO way the US can make it as successful and as simply funny as the original. They should just stick to making their own shows.

The trouble with remaking Only fools and horses is that the whole premise of the programme is that they're all cockney lads, using cockney rhyming slang and generally taking the piss out of themselves because they are really stereotypically cockneys lads. How is that ever going to work in the US, they might as well make a whole new show if they're going to have to got to the effort of changing everything to make it fit the US.

I truly believe that it wouldn't ruin the legacy of Only Fools and Horses one bit no matter how terrible the show is. Besides, the show has already been remade three times each in Holland, Portugal and freaking Slovenia of all places and i'm guessing they were pretty god damn awful.
