YEAH! Urgo Shirts! I was just noticing the stuff in the background and I see what looks like it could be your picture peeking over some stuff on your fireplace mantel. You could put that picture on the shirt with you thinking some equations, and Urgo-nomics on the bottom of it. Or You riding a flying Ender with a jousting stick in your hands. Like in that old game Joust. Or one of you spinning the Galaxy on your finger (as in the milkyway not the phone)
@Katmamik Hah I like your ideas! Regarding Joust, I am only familiar with that actually because it plays a key role in Ready Player One. Did you read it now? :) The game itself I've never played. Just looked up a video to see what it actually looked like :)
@Urgo6667 I have not read it yet, but I did download it onto my nook. 3 of my friends lent me their books & I'm just about 2 start the last 1. As soon as I'm done with this 1 I promise I will read yours, & give you a thumbs up or down. I also noticed rock band drums behind you. I use 2 play that with my son. I would sing or play the guitar & he would play the drums or the guitar. I was horrable with the drums he wouldnt let me play long enough 2 get the hang of it, or maybe it was the rum. ; P
@Katmamik oh yeah I'm horrible at the drums too. I'm decent on the guitar and, well rock band thinks I can sing great though I'm sure a real person wouldn't think so lol.
I had an iphone 4s for sprint but after 3 days with it I realized I just didn't like it so I returned is and got the Samsung GALAXY S II Epic 4G Touch and I could not be happier also got my gf and her sister to switch as well
I like Android phones, but they require credit cards for purchasing things on the apps store. Something of a road block for me as I had a few major medical problems. Lost my job and went into financial hard times. I have been reinventing myself and getting my life back together. I find the ability to use iTunes gift cards for all of Apple’s products a great thing. I also found out the hard way that Androids aren’t fully compatible with Apple computers. Where as iPhones work on pc computers.
@sesshii The fastest I've measured 4G at was at the airport near me and I clocked 23 mbit down and 16mbit up.. so I say pretty fast :) Normal results with less then stellar signal strength are around 4-10mbit down so still quite fast for a phone.
lg optimus s i go through a minimal of 4 batteries a day if im going to be gone for an 8 hour period but thank god the batteries are like a 10 dollar replacemtnt on amazon
The big downside is probably from being the first to get the new OS. Better to wait for the kinks to be worked out on someone else. I LOVE my Razr. Great battery life, and I don't need all that storage. And it's easy to find the top in the dark without looking because of the way it's shaped. But I agree...I doubt I will ever get the iPhone.
Did you watch the ad before this video? From Verizon employees union? I had no idea!
Used all the iPhones, during that bought the HTC Nexus 1 (which I still have it) and now I got the Galaxy S2. Not saying that iPhone is rubbish (as many others may say) but really, Android-powered devices are the future. It might be an CE prof's. opinion and based on the fact that I deal with development of OS and stuff, but the growth of the Android is the issue (compared to the slowing one to the iPhone). I'm loving the Android OS and its smoothness. iPhone's great, but it's dying.
Google is taking over the world :). I remember the earlier iPhone 4 had the same problem with misrepresenting your true signal strength, but I think they were going to fix that.
@ssurjap I think the problem with the iphone 4 was actually physical, or was that the 3? "Antennagate" was when if you held the phone a certain way it blocked the antenna and your signal actually did go down.
Great review! I took advantage of the Amazon $99 deal yesterday and also upgrading from the N1. There really isn't any other phone I can see me with since Google has this phone's back. Are you paying for the tethering from Verizon, or is the phone rooted in favor of tethering?
@jreign I did sign up for a data plan that includes tethering but to be honest I don't know if it was even required. On verizon's website when you look at data usage hotspot says 0 and everything is under normal data.
@Natycookie My theory is most of the apps on apple are pay because it costs developers much more to make an app. They have to pay for the cost of getting a mac plus the $100/yr. On android you can do it from any PC and its a one time fee of $25, therefore they can release apps for free :)
.... I'm running out with a space !!! LOL and this is already second comment! For the end I just want to say I don't have anything against SAMSUNG or ANDROID! If is about computers I don't like Apple, I love PCs, now I'm using Windows 7 and I'm happy with it !!! iPhone from Apple is only because that's just a phone for Me with a music and camera, when I want to record something really fast !!!
Thanks for video and see You soon !!!
PS don't look on My grammar, I know is awful !!! LoL
Awesome, thanks for review, I'm still on iPhone 4s, reason for Me :
- size is perfect like for a mobile, only screen could be a little be bigger,
- approving apps, is only benefit for ending consumer, apps are more safe,
- I will stay with apple 'cos I buying apps, music and books -> this is a lot easier for Me when I have all this in on device (not iPod for My music and Android phone as a phone)
I could go with a long list, but this is never ending war !!! LoL
@LucasFTWfilms The approval process is my least favorite feature. As you saw in my last video I was against SOPA/PIPA censorship. The approval process is apple censorship. No thank you. In the two years I've been using android I've never gotten a 'not safe' android app. And as I was saying to @Natycookie pretty much all apps are free anyway so no need to buy them :)
Very interesting that this phone breaks down the usage so in depth. I really like your reviews on things, I learn a LOT! Really awesome! Thanks! I really like that shirt! :D Great video! I'd buy an "urgo" shirt! (that way I'd meet a lot of people, and be a 'cool' mature woman in the process) LOL! :-))
@notellyearight1 What I showed was the battery usage, it also has a breakdown for data usage so you can see how much data each app is using, and overall so if you are on a low data package you can easily scale back. Lots of cool features :) And as for the shirt lol thanks, stay tuned =]
@Urgo6667 Yeh I wouldn't have known that certain apps just sitting there use the battery, OR that each one might have that notable of a difference in zapping power. I suppose some would more than others, but that's interesting. IF I used that type of thing, well then I'd learn about it, but well I'm still in the 'emergency cell phone' use stage (for the most part). Actually it's kinda surprising to me that you haven't put a shirt out. If anyone should it's you! I'd enjoy one I just bet! :-))
@wb530 Batteries are something all mobile devices in general need to improve on I think.. That technology hasn't changed in years yet devices keep using more and more..
As you know I am apple but I have my reasons and those would be A) I'm on sprint, carrier of the crappiest android phones ever B) Those battery issues you were talking about (I carried around batteries with my evo and I hated it C) the phones are getting larger and larger and I really hope that apple doesn't bandwagon too far into massive screens. I can understand going to 4in to cave into the massive public response, but that'll make me happy to have older tech because...
@Bensyt The battery issue sucks, but I think they can fix much of it in software.. really hoping they do... but as for the screen, trust me its AWESOME. It is harder to touch everything but its worth it. Its so much easier to do stuff. When I look at my nexus one now which even it has a bigger screen then the iphone I think I'm reminded of my old non-smart phone phones. Such a tiny screen!
@Urgo6667 I HATED my evo for the fact that i had to do a juggling act to pull down the notification center I really like being able to only use one hand. Maybe I have small hands but it feels SOOO much better. I dont want a mini tablet I want a phone.
I remember how excited you were about getting your new "toy" :-) What's an ice cream sandwich issue? I guess there is no room for a fan re: over heating. Most people are not as technologically savvy as you. Extra battery woot woot so you are not running all over the airports for a plug now... or are you?
@Urgo6667 LOL I have the images of LA etched in my mind. I was so tired and didn't care about power for electronics, but you are so attached to them. I challenge you to go without for a weekend. I don't think you could do it :-) This is friendly fire.
@TammyFlores1 I will take your 'no electronics (other then a camera, for the youtubes) for a weekend challenge' at some point, just not for a little while :)
