cliff burton says this in 1985. so i dont think he would have been "disgusted" etc at metallica recording load and reload. lars even said if cliff had of been alive they would have recorded load and reload alot earlier.

cliff was the only band member musically educated. he introduced them to melodies and harmonies. the huge growth from kill 'em all to ride the lightning was because of cliff burton.
