Notice how ABC removed Sarkozy from the video until the very end? While suggesting that the still image does not tell the real story, they themselves carefully reframe the video so that it omits the cues present in the still image. Sarkozy's facial expression while looking at Obama suggests that he was mildly amused at Obama's gaze.
