  • I saw the same abuse at Cole Bros Circus.

    Absolutely disgusting!!!!!

  • How do people not see a hook? A limp? I had an elephant ride once. It was at Detroits Gardens we were visiting my grandparents and I was 7. My Dad put me on. I just remember after crying and asking why the elephant didnt look happy. The trainer didnt like that or my questions.

  • Teach children compassion and don't take them to circuses that use animals. There are so many other ways to spend time with your children. Teach them to garden, take them to parks, take them to the cinema, take them rollerskating, take them to Cirque Du Soleil, etc. These animals don't want to be in the circus, they want to be free where they belong. They are beaten, chained, confined, denied medical care, their children are stolen from them, I could go and on. Don't go to the circus!

  • Shriners....exploiting tortured and beaten animals to help children. Nice. I used to think they were decent people.

  • @kiwikimmyd Shriners are decent people, and have a strict stance against animal cruelity. We have fired Circus groups we have hired to help with our Circus's over stuff like this. Also one of our best Shriner clowns quit the Shriners because he had a pet monkey who he loved and he was told to stop bringing the monkey to Shriner events becuase we didn't want anyone complaining about animal rights. We are extremely sensitive to the well being of animals, despite the lies in videos.

  • Scum bag trash in Florida need some way to entertain their children. It's not like their kids are smart enough to read or think. Got to teach them to torture animals early on.

  • That fat guy needs to be led around with the hook hanging out his asshole.

  • Georgie Hanneford worked elephants at Showfolks circus (hosted by Loomis Bros. Circus) in 2008 in Sarasota, FL with elephants that had paralyzed trunks. The animals would throw their heads backs forcing their trunks to fly up.

  • When you contact your city about banning exotic animal events, let them know about the huge potential liability circuses pose, as well as the abuse that occurs during training! Zoocheck has reports documenting that elephants can pass TB (tuberculosis) to people. The public is in physical danger; many zoos no longer allow their employees to interact with elephants unless there's a protective barrier (cage) in place, so why are circuses doing this?!

  • if that bastard man dragged by hook, what will be happen?... i think, he shout because of the pain....

  • There is no excuse for animal abuse.

  • that son of a bicth did that so sume mother fukin kids could have a fuking ride well y dont i grab a hook shove it in uer herad put people and ur back and pull

  • Cab ewe this the asshole doing this to the poor elephant?

  • I think those trainers and such should have a hook through their ears and pulled while giving a ride to the elephants!!!!!! crazy people!!!!!!!!!

  • This maakes me cry.. <\3

ive never been to the circus,

    and never fucken will be.

    theyre assholes for doing

    this to animals who dont

    even have a choice.

    :(

  • We need more undercover PETA workers in the circus to help our gentle giants, HELP HELP HELP , I cry when I see this

  • FUCK ZIRKUS!

  • i hope all the trainers who treat the elephants like shit get treated like shit

  • (2/2) (which is NOT acceptable since in the wild an elephant stays with its mother for an average of FIFTEEN years). The defenseless animal is used to this treatment and can do nothing about it. Oh and back to getting your eyes checked, if you look closely, there are scars behind the elephant's ears. Not to mention that elephants shouldn't be ridden in the first place. Do yourself a favor and shut the fuck up, because you sound like an ignorant moron.

  • @BulkDude, (1/2) Are you an idiot? Why don't you get your eyes checked? The hook is definitely in the elephant's skin and what's worse is that it's in the very sensitive part of the skin. The skin around the elephant's ear is almost paper-thin. There is no struggle because elephant "trainers" [abusers] break the spirit of the elephant from the day the baby is taken from its mother at the mere age of two

  • @ccpuffable If your going to insult someone and try to make yourself sound smart the least you could do is spell your words correctly. I see no stabbing here. Bull hooks, when used in this manner and the way they were intended, do not puncture the skin. Scars and scrapes on animals are common. I was referring to the areas where guides are used.

  • My grandfather was a clown in the shrine circus for years. He quit BECAUSE of the animal abuse he witnessed. He went to where the elephants were kept and saw the "training" they went through and abrubtly quit. Shrine, wringling brothers, barnum & bailey, they all do it. It's disgusting, sick, and sad. If you go to the circus you're supporting cruelty to animals.

  • Oh I forgot something. This makes me so sad, upset and angry. I have urgent need to scream out loud.

  • And one can seriously begin to wonder whether we humans are that evolving. I mean a bunch of hypocritical pigs would be more suitable when it comes to the perception of the world around us. How we have manage to survived this long is fucking a miracle.

  • why dont they put a hook through that fat guys ear and let children sit oh his back as he's dragged around?

  • u know the circus is here in lincoln NE right now i'm going to go protest

  • To everyone else : Look closely at this video. You see the guide resting behind the elephants ear. This does not hurt the animal and it is NOT dragging the animal. Do you see the elephant struggling to walk? NO. It is walking naturally. Do you see any cuts, scrapes, or bruses on the animal? NO. What I do see is someone trying to misinform you, lie to you, and try to get you to act off of false emotions that they have planted in you. This elephant is content, safe, and in good care.

  • @BulkDude Put yourself in this perspective, say someone was stabbing a hook behind your fucking ear whether it was on there gently or hard wouldn't a hook jammed in you still hurt. By the way if you don't see the scrathes or scars on this elephant you need a damn better optometerist than the one you have right now. Oh and I am so happy that you attmitted to the fact that you are misinforming, lying, & planting fake stories about how these animals could be happy under this care.

  • @Yuffie3982's : The circus industry has taken great responsibility in the protection and preservation of the elephant species. Most notability, the 200 acre research facility that RBBB/FELD has developed. The circus does a LOT of good for the animals within their care and that is seen when you look at the age of the animals in their care. Animals live longer in the circus than they do in the wild. If they were suffering as much as you claim, they would die.

  • @Yuffie3982's : I looked at your profile. It seems you have no knowledge when it comes to the circus and you talk to me as if I do not. I have been in the circus industry for many years. I know animal trainers and I know their procedures in training the animals. You claim what the circus is doing is wrong? So, the education and awareness of the public on these animals who are going extinct is wrong?.....

  • @littlefurballs : .....And if they are, the are very protected. I highly doubt you are telling the truth. The sad part is, this is the internet. And i'm sure people have read and believe your comment.

  • @littlefurballs : I doubt the authenticity of your comment about the training of baby elephants. First, if you were not a part of the audience, how could you watch them cheer for the animal? Second, on most shows you would not be allowed within feet of the animal while they were training them due to safety. Third, if they abuse the animals while training, do you think they would be stupid enough to do it within the view of the public? Fourth, baby elephants are not common on the road.....

  • @bancircuses : Animals have been in circuses for as long as they have been established. The institution has gone to great measures to insure the animals are happy and healthy. You have things in your everyday life that first originated from the circus industry. As for "the user below", Baby elephants on the road with circuses are very numbered. Even if they were training the animal, they would not be feet away when they were doing it due to safety. She would also have no abuse to witness.

  • It becomes a sad day for human nature when the price of our "entertainment" is an animal suffering pain as the user below describes. This is just wrong on every level!!!

  • @Yuffie3982 I know...I saw an actual training of a baby elephant for a circus act a few feet away and it was awful. Then, I see all these people in the crowd (I wasn't part of it) clapping and getting all excited when the poor thing had to do these stupid tricks. People don't think about how the poor thing had to learn in the first place.

  • @Yuffie3982 excellent point! wish people saw it that way. they always say "oh, these elephants look happy, blah blah blah"...I wish people would educate themselves on what really goes on (and understand that this is a an animal that probably doesn't want to do stupid tricks and carry ignorant people on their backs!)

  • Elephants are known to pick up their young by their EARS and carry them and yet you tell these 44,057 people that this guide, which is simply resting on the nob behind the ear, is hurting the animal! YOU PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS! You need to learn the animal, the make up of their body, and the strength of animal before making such claims of abuse!

  • Nobody gives a fuck. Go live your lives and make money.

  • Animals are not our slaves.

  • @HCOfrwak888yah just cuz this doesnt show so much cruelty wat makes u think they don't do it after the show , also keeping an elephant just for trick, rides, and dancing is CRUELTY . what makes u so sure that they would actually show some kind of cruelty in front of an audience .and what makes it even more sad is that your calling US ignorantthis tool we don't really care about the tool all we care about is the elephant but making the elephant give ride for an hour? that just IDIOTIC

  • Im sorry but i don't see how this is cruel? This tool is used to guide and animal you latch it around the thickness of its ear. The elephant was clearly not limping and if it wee in pain it would have acted up. You are all ignorant on this end.

  • è crudeltà pura...significa proprio mettere sotto i piedi la dignità di un animale così maestoso e intelligente... è uno schifo e uno sfreggio nei confronti di queste nobili creature!

  • was soll den das?

  • How can these people let their kids get rides on this poor animal.Do'nt they see how this coward is dragging this poor animal.

  • Poor Majestic Animals . @ Kulaness what the hell does Horse training have to do with the torture these animals are being put through day to day .

    @ truth2748

Great comment / statement . Thanks for showing kindness and sharing such Wisdom .

  • that would have been great if the animal collapsed being too tired and the children would have been crushed under its weight idiot circus

  • "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated". Mahatma Gandhi. If we can be compassionate towards the voiceless, then our own species should be easy to handle. That is why the FBI, and criminal science agree, children that have pets and treat them well are less likely to commit violent crimes. ANIMAL RIGHTS NOW!!!

  • This is so sad but it will continue as long as parents take their kids to the circus and let them ride elephants like you see in this video...poor elephant...I can't even begin to image the living hell they are in from day to day. The circus strips the baby from the mother shortly after it is born to force...when I say force I mean beat the elephant and use hook and ropes to get it to do what they want... Like an elephant puppet...this needs to stop!

  • THIS IS TERRIBLE! SO I GUESS I CAN DRAG YOU BY A HOOK LATCHED ON TO YOUR EAR AND LET ELEPHANTS RIDE YOU?!?!?!?!?!

  • Mm....and what happens when the elephant snaps and decides to go on a killing rampage with the children on it's back? They can't even shoot the elephant and let it leave the circus because of the danger of hitting the kids. pshaw

  • yes, dragged by a hook..

    shameful, disgrace to all humanity..

  • The shriner circus is coming to my town, Bangor Maine, This coming friday april 30th and i have organized a protest. I don't care if im the only one there. Animals are not on earth for our entertainment.

  • Classic, absolutley classic!!!!

  • you idiots u need to stop that wat if i dragged u around on a hook

  • Dude if anyone wants to come to minneapolis and help me boycott the shrine circus let me know they are coming here bringning their abused bears and elephants i wish someone would do something.

  • The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated. Mahatma Gandhi. If we can be compassionate towards the voiceless, then our own kind should be easy to handle. That is why the FBI, and criminal science agree, children that have pets and treat them well are less likely to commit violent crimes. ANIMAL RIGHTS NOW!!!

  • @truth2748 put very well

  • train that big guy without that hook.

  • no animal should be pushed about or made to do things they dont need to do so tell your mate to get the limp sorted out oh and to find a kinder way!!

  • @jbismylife1996 hey thats great no one gives to craps! fuck off im pretty sure that this is torture,THE FREAKING ELEPHANT IS LIMPING AN CARRYING KIDS!!!! how would you like i hook in you ear with an elephant on you back? its cruel. thats all it is.

  • OMG I saw that guy and that elephant at the Circus TODAY. I noticed that one of the elephants had strange things on its back like if it was hurt. THIS HAS TO BE THE SAME ELEPHANT. This guy I KNOW IT WAS HIM. This is extremely sad, omg.

  • Yes, lets take your children sometime and drag them by a hook! lets see u be a tree hugger! this is not a tree its an animal anyway.

  • @galaandding You are an idiot. I've worked with horses plenty of times before. Even though they're not elephants, they're still large animals. And large animals act and move the same way when they're lame. This one is lame.

BTW, I am by no means a tree hugger. I eat meat and I am most certainly not a member of PETA. But circuses are cruel to animals. Would you train your dog by beating it and prodding it until it got the trick right? That's the reality for a lot of circus animals.

  • CRUEL CRUEL CRUEL CRUEL CRUEL CRUEL CRUEL ther is no other word and there is no argument this is CRUEL end of.

  • i would love to punch that guy in the video in the face

  • yeah.. umm no abuse there at all.. to many people get the ankus(bullhook) info from peta.. using a bull hook the normal way causes no pain and it used to simply get attention and show direction to the animal.. a normal bullhook is dull not sharp and is never use to HIT the animal..

  • umm is this a serious statement or sarcasam?

  • serious statement.. why?? i work with elephants i should know.

  • Exactly what do u work as?? Because maybe its different where u work but the bullhook was orginally meant 2 allow the trainers 2 control the animals all you have 2 do is look at the mahuots(sp?) in india they train their elephants wit sticks. Also the term never in ur statment is wrong its usually used by if not all circuses at some point to hit the animals. Im not from peta and i no they r extremists but they are right on how the ankus is used by the large circuses to dominate the elephants...

  • continued

all that is needed to move an elephant from point b to point a is something like a leash as crazy as it sounds they get it they can move they to need to be proded to move. Just look at the bullhook you cant possibly believe that an instrument that looks like that is used for good n never evil. Iv been to circuses where u see cuts n scrapes on the hide of these animals clear indication that the trainers are not using the bullhook the right way as u said the way it should be used as

  • sorry my friend but i am quite right.. everything you just said is pointless..a bullhook is only used to move the elephant, give direction and attention. i own a couple they are blunt not sharp.. and if you actually READ what i said, i said if used the normal (correct) way.. yeah i have seen circus "trainers"(if you can even call them that) hit elephants with them.. but ask any respectable trainer how they are used.. all will tell you it is not used to hurt in any way...

  • just5 because a few idiots that call themselves trainers do it does not make it right nor the proper way.. example, you want an elephant to raise a foot, you tap that foot with the ankus and the elephant knows and raises the foot.. and when i say tap, that is what i mean.. with the same force i could use to tap my own leg and it not hurt.. for the elephant to "down" you put it on top of the trained area, shoulder, back neck, and tap downward.. same force, no pain.. now do you understand?

  • btw, look at the vid, he has the tip of the bullhook in the "training spot" and is directing the elephant which way to go.. notice he is not pulling hard on the bullhook, not jerking it.. heck look at his arm, it is basically relaxed, using almost zero force.. no pain at all there... no abuse, no nothing.. if he were hurting the elephant the elephant would not be so calm, you could see heavy force being applied etc.. none of that is happening.. i rest my case

  • but let me also say, i am not a fan of circuses nor the way the animals in them are treated in most cases..

  • Okay im sorry i admitt that i assumed that was the case because i guess i believed in the sterotypes but id like to point out this elphant is limping n i no ur stating the obvious but u never no there is a crowed in the video for all we no this guy could be jackel high when no one is around. also i no iv asked but what is it u do because im lookin for an intership n would like to learn more about available jobs out there

  • as far as the limp, that is 2 things possibly..

while i do notice a limp(which i don;t like) but it could be from many things other than abused just to be fair.. also it is more pronounced due to the people on the back and the turning he is doing.. so i can't say much without knowing history of the animal.. if you are interested in a hands on job with animals look into the EATM program at Moorpark College.. threre's a few other places, but IMO moorpark is the best...

  • Thanks for the info...im still gunna stick to my belief that the pain was caused by abuse the elephant has a few more signs but im not gunna get into that but thanks again

  • i agree with you.

  • thanks.. btw i have worked with elephants many times over many years...

    : )

  • God is clearly punishing the elephants for siding with Adolph Hitler in the American Civil War against werewolves.

  • i hate when i see fat people on themm....that realy pisses me off...that elephant will walk that circle hundreds of times a day and like most circucus there there for atleaste a week .

  • The circus and especially the Shriners circus is such crap, a bunch of drunken men needing to have parties with strippers get the idea to torture animals, lie to people to say money goes to hospitals and people still stupid enough to believe it.

  • Hey now, the Jaffa Shrine Circus in PA safely handles the animals and they come from a special wildlife reserve where they'd have anything they need. We actually respect the animals at shrine circuses up here. It's also to support a children's hospital. Get your facts straight just because one state doesn't have the mind to do things correctly.

  • FUCK THE CIRCUS

  • id like to drag that fella round on a hook

  • ummm what does god have to do with elephant abuse.......?

  • This is so freaking mean to the elephants. They have feelings too and i bet they wish to be back roaming in the wild than to be hooked by the ear and carrying some six year old's around in a circle. The poor thing :,(

  • first of all animals shouldnt be used for recreational reasons they should be left alone and free to be, disgusting to even say that other circuses are better, idiots

  • i cant belive the way that people treat animals! they have feelings to!

  • i have two points of view on this video like ya this guy doesnt know what the hell he is doing if he is good enough he shouldnt even need to use the bull hook but. now in some circus's tho the animals get treated better then the people who work there i should know because ive worked in the circus all my life and the animals are treated like fuckin royalty they get 3-5 meals a day workers are lucky to get 1 a day cause were always working and one last thing FUCK YOU PETA

  • There should be no reason ever to use a bull hook or not use a bull hook on an elephant - is it natural for them to walk in circles round a small ring carrying people - if the answer is no - then bring on anyone who will stop this disgusting, barbaric treatment of animals.

  • Circuses are dying out why, because of their treatment of animals. Last one, and hence, last one, I went to - the horses had visible holes in thier skin, not just bruises but holes. If you have worked in a circus all your life can you, hand on heart, say you have never seen any animal mistreated.

  • Who says this is PETA? I hate circuses too but I don't support PETA.

And just because you worked in a circus doesn't MEAN anything. Did you train the animals? Did you feed, clean, watch the animals?

Also, its AWESOME they got 3 to 5 meals a day because in the wild a full day of grazing would NEVER be that much. This is what we call sarcasm.

    Tool.

  • rhis elephant is gettig guided ... not dragged... but i agree.... the elephant gave rides tot long... and'when the animal dont want to give rides (like in the video) dont make hm... they CA get agressive

  • wow that elephant looks excited....

  • Ew, we have the Shrine Circus come here. Duluth, MN. :/

  • Was just offered free tickets to the Shrine Circus by my employer. I respectfully declined, then informed some of my co-workers of the evil behind them...they are feeling guilty about going...spread the word!

  • Draged and limping? Not there.

    journy'boy'...Whaaaaa,done crying ?

  • Hello again journy'boy'...

If that guy leading the elephant knew what he was doing instead of being scared or 'power-trip', all he would need to do is walk, guide with his hand and talk.People like him, made us experianced people look bad.

  • Shrine Circus: Leading the Way in Animal Exploitation!

I am sick of seeing circuses abuse our fellow animals for morons to leer at. I will not rest, I will not stop, I will not give up fighting them until the day a law is passed banning them from using and abusing nonhuman animals for "entertainment".

There are some fantastic human-only shows like the Cirque du Soleil, and the circuses that still use animals are either too greedy, stupid or lazy (or all 3) to change. But someday...

  • THank you for making a difference. People need to know about the abuse. One day we'll look back and say to our kids, "damn, i can't believe they use to do that to the elephants."

  • i don't see him limping

but for sure the hook is nasty

  • What fucking sick bitches!!!

  • okay maybe I went to far with the..animal's dont have feelings thing..of course they do but people I have to say this we are on the top of the food chain..and we are not here for no reason..we think strategize, calculate and examine we dont act on instinct I'm not saying this gives us the right to abuse animals but seriously we are the rulers of the earth at this moment..and we are a creature whom need many levels of stimulant to achive a fullfilled lifestyle..yours truly THEMAXG

  • No...Humans were the mistake of Nature...Evolution HAS to be real, because we're here...NO creator would make a creature so vile and evil...one so disgusting as humanity...Humanity is the true proof that there is no god...Animals are pure and have souls, humans don't. End of story.

  • While I agree that people suck, I think your comment is just as ignorant and unfounded. I'm not judging you or calling you anything, but I completely disagree with your diatribe. God created humanity and humanity CHOSE to leave the perfection that God created them with. Read about Adam and Eve...they were perfect until they disobeyed God and that was when evil entered the world.

  • I'm sorry, but if "god" is so perfect, why does he give Moses those ten rules, one being that one mustn't kill, then later sends moses to kill THOUSANDS and keep the virgin women to himself(aka. RAPE!!!) I'm sorry, but if that's not a hypocrite, a villain, and a vile being, I don't know what is...NOT TO MENTION how your "god" kills billions upon billions of humans, and yet your devil only kills 10?! I'm sorry, but the bible and everything in it is just a bunch of lies mean to control the masses.

  • I blocked you from my channel because of your message...I'm NOT angry at your "god" I can't possibly be angry at something that doesn't exist, bu the BELIEFS do, and they have caused hate, prejudice and war...THEY are evil, and THEY are why I said those things, NOT the god itself, though, I think the fairy tale you follow has no good side, only two vicious evils striking humans down as they bicker...Nature rules until the end of time, and She DOES exist...Everyone knows it, but not the same way.

  • Have you ever seen a wolf pack hunt? You don't think that's calculating and strategy?

You're a fool times two and know nothing about animals or the world. Grow up, read a book and LEARN SOMETHING you pathetic tool.

  • It's just a animal they dont have feelings.....

  • please tell me this is sarcasm..

  • Hey thats what animals are on this earth for....either for our consumption or for our amusment ie monkeys, elephants pretty much any animal....all I gotta say is be glad ur on the top of the food chani....

  • bullshit dude they are not here for your amusement..

  • As humans are nothing more than quite intelligent animals I can see how you, themax, are treating humans.

    SAD.

  • I think thats just awful, but there is no sense in complaining if you aren't willing to do something about it, so make a stand. Do not go to the circus and for goodness sakes do not let your child ride some animal being lead about by a hook and a carnie.

  • i hope ur are all learning the lesson ... circus must die! for ever ... let these guys bleeding for to many generations they bits animals to show and train them under pain FUCK OF CIRCUS !!!

  • if only the elephant couldve killd the guy pulling it. elephants arent for amusment people there ment to be free!

  • fuck yeah!

  • that was in reponse to "lovechickens14" comment.

  • It's an ANIMAL, skywalker. Wake up.

  • Well, you're a useless human. WHO CARES????

  • STOP pulling her by that sharp hook! PLEASE stop it!! You are a coward and have no soul if you are able to treat these elephants so cruelly! How can those people sleep at night? They have bad karma, that's for sure.

  • this is a message for the guy PULLING on the poor elephant, YOU AND YOUR STUPID LITTLE FRIENDS AT THE CIRCUS R CRUEL!!!!!!!hOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF SOMEONE BEET U IN THE LEG AND MADE U LIMP AND PUT A HOOK THROUGH YOU?HUH?

  • there crule I HATE THOSE PEOPLE!!

  • oh that nothing compare to the Vietnam zoo. The elephant only get like 2 or 6 inch to move around and there are three elephant at the same spot

  • coolcool: I can only imagine how horrible the conditions are at the Vietnam zoos; I weep for all our fellow animals imprisoned in the God-forsaken hellholes that the Asian zoos and circuses must be. I have a saying: "As unlucky as an animal born in China."

But that doesn't excuse animal abuse anywhere else in the world. All abuse needs to end. But thanks for your input. Keep spreading the word!

  • OMG IS THAT HOOK IN LIKE HIS SKIN!!!! i am going to cry they're so cruel!

  • I think you guys are jumping the gun on crying abuse on this one. I don't think elephants should be kept in circuses the way they are, but this video dosn't show enough to call abuse.

  • BASTARDS BASTARDS STUPID BASTARDS

  • fuckn cruel...

  • how the fuck can they let this happen???

  • hey people lets go to the circus and watch a human get hooked through its ear..and be forced to do humiliating things..then we'll all clap and cheer at out blind apathetic minds

  • very stupid people

  • they should let all wild animals free unless they are in an open are properly care by people. imagine how peaceful it was for the animals without humans being around.

  • I hope the fucking trainer will burn in hell, and I know he will, some day. Also, those parents are retards, just ignoring the suffering that poor animal is going trough and only thinking about their own fun. Ignorance or just stupidity, I don't know, it's both bad. (excuse my bad language, and my bad English :P I'm pretty mad after watching a few of this kinda vids, and I'm from holland :P)

  • those parent are sick in the head who put the kids on that elephants back for 'fun'

  • I think its naive for parents to put there children on such a huge animal. I ride horses and children that young seldom are able to ride ponies a fraction of the size of an elephant...theres jsut the lack of real control there.

  • that elephant is treated good compared 2 oders + dat ting in him doesnt hurt him if it did he wud go mental!

  • That's not a hook. It's an ankus and the skin is super thick on an elephant even behind the ears. It's more of an annoying poke.

  • YOUR NOT AN ELEPHANT DUDE, HOW THE F*** DO YOU KNOW!? FOR FUKIN REALL HOW THE F*** DO YOU KNOW?

    - you barbarians and your uneducated fictional knowledge doesn't belong anywhere. If you can't prove it then STFU because ultimately your opinion sucks and always will.

  • thats just awful! no creature deserves to be abused and hurt for enjoyment or experiments! for maet or anything like that either! no animal should be abused at all! i just want to beat the living shit out of animal abusers!

  • are you drunk? the elephant isnt being dragged its being guided, and i see no limp. sorry.

  • Are you that naive or just that ignorant to the fact that bull hooking is a cruel method used in training elephants. You can notice 10-11 secs into the video he has the elephant hooked behind the ear, a common area used to hook the animals because it helps hide the wounds left behind. Boycott circuses!

  • thts bs this shouldnt be happening esp letting kids ride

  • That sick bastard! Don't the children on that elephant and their parents see the torture its going through? I can't believe he's making a profit of this shit! >=# Poor elephant. ;(

  • Agreed!! Poor beautiful elephant, everyone is so blind.

  • just trainers n america do that!!!

he is sick... he dosen´t have an reison, so unfear!

In sweden they dont hurt the elephants, and they get so much carets for what they do!!

  • "cirkusnord", i really wish they got the animals to work for treats. i wish i wish i wish. we have a HUGE problem with animal cruelty here.

  • Why not lay the fat man down, crawl oaround with kid on his bag... give the elephant they freedom...

  • they shudnt allow having wild animals in captivity b/C THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS u try n make a profit out of them...we've already stole a lot from them but their lives too?!?!? come on they r gentle animals who r being abused this is jus sick

  • no no!!you got it all wrong !!! this was THE RINGLING BRO. CIRCUS NOT SHRINE CIRCUS!!!!!!!!!! MY dad is a proud shriener they do not DO THAT!!!

  • I've been to both the Shrine Circus and Ringling Brothers. The Shrine Circus sells tickets for elephant rides for kids, never Ringling Brothers. I should know. I was standing right in front of a Shrine Circus elephant, first in line, waiting for my kids to get on when it went berserk.

  • BTW, unalissa, I was at Ringling Brothers last, oh, let me think, um.....yesterday. No elephant rides. After I saw the elephant cruelty videos today, we'll never go to another circus, unless it's with protestors.

  • The Shriners don't own those elephants....there not one big circus its seperate companies that perform.....they dont own the whole thing...sorry 4 your inconvinence

  • Thanks, unalissa, I didn't know that. At least the Shriners are trying to make money for sick children. It isn't pure greed like Ringling Brothers.

  • borcsht...elephants are one of the most, if not the most intelligent animals...far more intelligent than a low life like yourself. You think just because you are a human you are something special and that gives you the right to dominate such a highly complex and social animal? You sick fuck.

  • you sick bastard

youre the animal bet your cute once i beat the fukin shit outta you, you mother fucker hope you die like most of these animals; in a horrible, painfull and sad way

  • thats sick, animals such as elephants should be treated with respect not dragged around on a hook with a bunch of little kiddies on their back, the poor thing looked like it was 80 or something

  • how can you love watching this? what if it was you? this elephant is a creature of GOD as you are and should be treated with respect as you or any creature should be treated.

i should get a bullhook and beat you with it constantly to see how YOU like it.

  • Type in "Elephant training in the circus" to see how this animal was trained.

  • Well I have been to every Shrine Circus since I was born. And I have never seen this. I do agree that they shouldhave other fundraising ideas such as fundraisers in schools the could set up something. But I have never seen this at the circus.

  • the shriners do hold other fundraising activities throughout the year. yes, part of the income from the circus goes to the the upkeep of the temple, but the rest goes to the kids. dont forget, no temples, no childrens hospitals.

  • I have been to the Shrine Circus every year of my life and these are never the people that lead the elephants. It is always the elephants trainers who the elephants trust. Also in the circuses I have been to in between EACH ride the elephants get water and hay AS SOON as they are done. And once an elephant had a limp and they took the elephant out and it didnt preform. These were RESCUED ANAIMALS that were saved from being shot to death or going to slaughter as well!

  • So i guess that justifies it?

Right, lets have an experiment, shall we?

Lets have you walk around in circles all day, with kids on your back, then return to the cozy chain around your ancle that doesnt give you enough room to take two steps.

You say they are fed well, and as soon as they show signs of discomfort they are alloud to rest. Call me crazy but it looks like an elephant being dragged around a ring in great discomfort, OOH and with such a BIG SMILE on its face too, im sure.

  • Dear Summer 2020, you are confusing African with Asian elephants. Asian elephants are very endangered and have never been culled. None of these elephants are rescued from being shot to death or going to slaughter.

  • GEORGE HANNEFORD -ARE YOU LISTENING?

  • that is just so cruel, i hope that man burns in hell >:(

  • Oh dear
