That's a pretty fast drive through but it captures the beauty of our neighborhood. I still sit on the porch and speak to the folks walking down the stree. 71st Street has become unstable and it was a bustling area. Not I see why you are driving so fast. Seems the residents didn't appreciate you being there. Interesting Lyle sign on the fence. I guess that was 71st and Indiana. Roderick Sawyer is not the Alderman.

My folks grew up around 72nd & Eberhardt. Dad went to St. Columbanus, mom to Park Manor. Nice to be able to put a visual to their stories. Thanks :)

park manor, born and raised, 69th and michigan, went to st. columbanus on 71st and calumet.

this is freaky because my grandma house is on 73 St.Lawerance and my house is on michigan off of 71st street.... and park manor is from 79th to 67th between cottage grove and state

the southern four blocks ARE part of Chatham, NOT Park Manor, by virtue of a 1970s vote by the residents and homeowners.

Not sure what to make of your comment - but I do know that the city hasn't chaned its definition of Chatham. The northern boundary of Chatham is 79th St, per the city, not 75th.
