I ve always been told that indigenous south Americans were exterminated 500 years ago. Yet when I travelled to the southern us and mexico last year, clearly so many of them are walking around in the cities. Hispanic isnt a good term to use with Mexicans. Because Hispañia was a province of the Roman Empire. Hispañia is today known as Spain (España). Notice how Hispañia looks alot like "Hispanic". Last time I checked Spaniards are white (Caucasion). Than why the heck are Mexicans called Hispanic?! Why not Caucasion? Why not call "Amerindians" Mongoloids? And some of the Europeans who arrived during the 1800's were participated in the extermination specifically of American indians during the Indians wars and the gold rush in California. In Central and South American the false republic encouraged migration and they became land owners through attempts at taking away indigenous land ownership.
