Dear Sir Demonstrator! I find your playing of " you are my sunshine " as a DEMO a little dissapointing. How could you manage to do two bellow changes @ the wrong time, swollowing notes on a demooooo is just not on.
Thank you for your informative video. Really appreciate you've taken the trouble to do this to help others. I will unearth the accordianI bought for twenty pounds at a fair and try again!
I play the accordion enough to get by. I enjoy it as its an instrument that you play anywhere and its very self gratifying. I play other instruments as well. All this information I find very valuble. I should look around for a chromatic they seem to be the right instrument for me to play. Thanks for doing this.
Mio caro!

as an examined accordionist (buttons) I have to add that transposing isn't that easy... moving up and down only works from e.g. C the E-flat, F-sharp or A.
I am so interested in the Chromatic accordion as for years I played 2 types of accordions. The Diatonic Button accordion I began to play at age 2.5 and at age 6 I received a Piano Accordion with 12 bass later I had 120 bass. But now not having an accordion and just organs and keybards. I am interested to learn how to read the notes and play the Chromatic. Your demonstration has cleared up a lot of questions that I may have had. Sounds like Chromatic is "The way to go. Great Job 5*****
I'm really glad I found these videos. I've always been interested in playing accordion music and the chromatic system always intimidated me, but since I never really took piano lessons I guess it would actually be perfect for me to learn that method instead. Can't thank ya enough.
so... what is the accordion on 0:46 called??? please answer me... THANKS!!!

There is one tutor I've seen for chromatic. It's published by Hohner and I once ordered it from then. Only drawback is it was in German.

are chromatic accordions more expensive than piano accordions?
adrianrubi 3 years ago
Looking at the prices of convertor models (..whew. Expensive.), they're the same price.
Looks like I need a chromatic system. I am 1 year into learning accordion, but playing piano accordion now.
accordionz 3 years ago
Used, they are usually cheaper in this country since there is less demand
