What is gesso for?

@LusciousApril Its basically a primer to use to cover up an already used page so that you can start fresh and new :) You could always use white paint though. Also, if the paper isn't white already, I would use either gesso or white paint and put a layer of that down first...because that way whatever you paint next will be nice and bright instead of being dulled down by whatever the color was before :)

@kiltedcueball I try not to think much when doing art because art is my way of quieting my brain, lol. I do think some things like, "What message am I trying to send into the universe?", "What colors would be good together"..things like that. However, I think my best pieces are created when I just "do" rather than think. Always happy to help keep the creative fires burning :) Thanks for watching

This is fantastic - what stamp was it you used and what ink pads do you use?

@lovelylass77 Thank you :) I used a butterfly stamp from Inkadinkado and the ink pad I use is Archival Ink - Jet Black
