i loved this game when i was a child, i bought 20 tokens and finished it at the arcade. i'm thinking of downloading it since you can't buy it anymore. can i use a mouse or will i need to buy a light gun for the pc?

@flyeye69 Your gonna be stuck with the mouse since PC lightguns are impossible to find almost. I bought a sega saturn and burned the game and bought a lightgun which works well only bad thing is the framerate really hurts the action

@luigicasino You need to either buy the actaul game or play it on ur pc and burn the music tracks to a seperate cd. The game plays watever music is in the disc drive.

I bought mine a long time ago but I think u can Download this on Limewire but you won't get the music tho. If you want the music you will have to burn them to a cd and put it in the cd drive and it will play the music on that cd. You have to put them in order to get them to play at the right times tho.

I had to buy the original game to get the tracks. Basically the game plays whatever music you have on a disc in your cd-rom drive so if you download the games original soundtrack and you place the tracks in the right order you will get the music.

I bought the game so thats why I have it all. You need a disk in ur drive with all the music tracks I have the game itself in there tho so it has all the music.

I downloaded mine off a rar format, I'll try to find a way to get the bgm, oh and you know you change the compatinility thing, I don't have to do it in my version, I got vista and the frame rate is faster than the arcade itself, you need an intel graphic accelerator, it's free to download.

PAHA no need to do that this is how u get it to work. Right click the Icon on my computer and click explore. Then find the file cant remember waht its called the one that runs the game then right click it and go to properties. Then go to compatibility then change it to windows 95 then click apply. From there u can play jus like im playing on xp.

I have a local arcade that ONLY has rail shooter games, so it's pretty awesome. It has all the House of the Dead's and also Time Crisis. So it's pretty awesome to go over there and pop in some quarters (Depends on the game, HotD 1 costs like 1 quarter per play.) and play.

game's so much easier with the gun. with the mouse, its almost impossible to save everyone, specially the first 2 people you can save.

i never saw cheat mode. how do you get cheat mode? i've beat the game, saved all hostages and all.

Try shooting really fast and go for head shots. Also make sure on the second boss your gun is always pointed at him and shoot him at fast as possible.
