This song will always remind me of Benjamins apartment.

  • @CBFHVP me too, damn it

  • Fantastic song...Cornell voice is amazing!!!!!! it gets to my heart!!

  • sorry for those that died for this album to be made miss ya

  • One person mis-clicked.

  • Today is Temple of the Dog 20th Anniversary. I want to say happy birthday in the name of all of the fans. Thanks for the great music, underrated as hell but never forgotten by the true fans.

  • omg, one person dislike, ha ha, i bet they did it to feel special...

  • Lyricly Cornell is not as deep as Vedder i feel.

  • temple of the dog > soundgarden and audioslave

  • The fact that Chris cornell is not regarded as the best vocalist of all time, makes him underrated .

  • What is WRONG with 1 person? At least we know that it is just one person . . . thus it is proven to be an error in perception.

  • I really hope Chris Cornell's music will last forever.. like all good music should. Don't get lost in club/radio music. I love club music, I club often and stuff but nothing is better than music like this.

  • Ribbed for her pleasure...

  • listening to this song and remembering the times is making me cry... and - @bulldogfight: gosh, you are right, it's 20 years!!! can't believe it! i love that voice of chris'!

  • @silvinagos Melancholy at its best my friend

  • This song means a lot to me...I love you so much...

  • If it's an all night thing.....And we fall like a tear falling to the ground....

  • shit...it's been 20years

  • @bulldogfight Indeed....ouch. So many of us had RAD sex to this song lol; I guess it's our generations' smoosh song....

  • short lived but good band

  • rock on! xD

  • I think Eddie Vedder is the best singer from that era. But Chris Cornell is amazing to, and has a vocalrange that is completely fucked up awesome. It almost goes up 5 octaves.

  • This album has been one of those, that I have listened to for a long, long time...I can see people, places, and Moments in my mind, every time I listen to it.

  • I don't think I understand this song

  • I'm going to meet this girl on Capitol Hill (yes seattle) pretty soon, and I'm hoping it's an all night thing!

  • @mryuck206

    So how'd you do?

  • @ludehead Found a diff gf before I even met that girl, so I guess I did ok lol

  • @mryuck206

    Good job my friend

  • i always encourage my wife to try find cornell and fuck him thatll be great for me as a fan of cornell

  • @ibeatuinboxing

    You really think?

  • @GoodbyeSobriety absolutly why not?if shes fucking me that im a nobody with a bunch of debts why i would not let her have a good time with cornell that is a god himself!!and if she want to stay with him after well good for her she going to have a more happy life than being with me.

  • @ibeatuinboxing

That's cool. I understand. IF (and what a BIG if it is) I had a girlfriend, I wouldn't deny her the chance to be with one of my musical heroes, either. ;-D

  • i would

  • lol feel that man. I'm not gay at all but shit I would fuck chris cornell if he wanted me to.

  • @thejonhendricks Ur gay!!

  • @chingate691 lol

  • me too lol

  • I love MLB...great song

  • Mudhoney, TAD, Love Battery, the Screaming Trees.. All awesome bands that weren't nearly as successful and in the forefront of their scene. Definetly check these guys out if you love the big four of the seattle scene, they were all alongside them.

  • @iliekbigbuttz

Sweet Oblivion is one of the best grunge albums... Screaming Trees baby!

  • I didn't like Mudhoney, but I agree with you about the Screaming Trees, definately.

  • My favortie Screaming Trees songs are Nearly Lost You (who doesn't like it?), Dollar Bill, and Bed of Roses. My favortie Mudhoney song is You Got It.....great bandzz maaan!!

  • love batterys fuzz factory is amazing and pure grunge and so is out of focus@Lekter

  • @iliekbigbuttz i think pearl jam, soundgarden, temple of the dog, nirvana, aic are soooo much better than the bands you just mentioned. Love battery i just tried to give a chance and i think they arent worth it :-\

  • Waynes world.

  • this song is pretty fuckkin' awesome if u ask me...

  • Greatest indy/grunge lovesong :)

  • @KmRnnn i think i'll always see this as a love song of sorts too, but it's supposedly about wood's last night alive.

  • I love this song so, so much! And not just because I lost my virginity to it. (Did I just say that on the internet?!) 8-X

  • Yeah! haha

  • nice!!! i lost mine to jack black's version of lets get it on lol + rose pedals, champaigne, a black light, and a viagra i bought from my dad.

  • lol

  • @elaureth Funny, I deflowered a few honeys to The Temples Gems...I just hated getting up to turn the tape over.

  • if there ever was a dude that could make a dude horny for his chick, lol.

  • muy buena cancion.chris cantando R&B/soul.

  • This is my favorite project with Chris.

    He is my Idol!

  • Funhunter671 Iam a Canadian boy My era was all about the seattle scene I couldn't agree more!!!

  • my favorite song EVER...period

  • Cornell never lost this voice...he lost his buddies, and the mood that was inspired by the struggle living poor and trying to make it in Seattle. He was surrounded by incredible friends and talent...death and time changed that...that's just life as we know it. I hope he out performs the stones... I 'll be a fan until I'm a 100..If I make it that far...

  • wait what do you mean if he outperforms the stones?

    what are stones?

  • ...."the Stones", i,e.., the Rolling Stones.

  • @funhunter671 he actually DID indeed lose his voice. sometime between Singles(the movie) and Superunknown he nearly tore his vocal chords and was gargling vinegar for months to get them back. problem was that he sang through alot of the wear and tear and and ended up deystroying various qualities in his voice. listen to his voice in Cochese by audioslave. Same high register as Spoonman, but his voice sounds nowhere near as great. It sounds overly gritty and much less controlled.

  • @codebabe

yeah I agree actually, post-soundgarden, his voice is much more gravelly and scratchy, it was in it's prime mid soundgarden. earlier soundgarden is great I just think he learnt to use and control his voice more on like down on the upside or badmotorfinger

  • @JakeCadieux123 I personally feel that his voice peaked on Temple of the Dog. But I love his voice on the records you mentioned as well.

  • @JakeCadieux123 I think he used his voice more consistently on records like Badmotorfinger and Superunknown, but fuck, DOTU had some fucking amazing vocal performances. The strength of his voice on songs like Pretty Noose, Ty Cobb, Machine Forever and Burden was just incredible. Don't believe me? Listen to the acapella version of Pretty Noose on Youtube. Like I said, incredible.

  • @funhunter671 you said that as perfect as it can be said man....

  • so relaxing. Chris's voice just makes you feel good. wish I had that or something like it.

  • Cornell great artist....except when he claims to have lost his voice.......Soundgarden.....Audioslave....

  • cornell at his most soulful

  • waynes world? I heard it was also a saturday night live show. Was that the name? I can't find it on u tube?

  • waynes world yes it was a skit on saturday night live (if thats what youre asking) ...this song was played during the first waynes world when wayne, garth, and waynes hot ass asian gf visited rob lowe's bachelor pad

  • beautiful song, beautiful voice.

  • Great song, i love Chris Cornell

  • great song. one of the best ever! Yeah it'an all night thing ;)

  • lol i remember waynes world think thats the first time i heard this tune :)

  • I remember this was in Waynes World

  • Yes indeed. It was on the soundtrack.

  • i forgot about that movie..oh yes she will be mine..game on!

  • haha EXTREME CLOSEUP!!!

  • whooooOOOOOOO!

  • @mkpctv ha ha, yes I just watched Wayne's World and had to google "she motioned to me, that she wanted to leave" to figure out the title... awesome song

  • Great tune!! Had to subscribe to ya...so many Temple Of The Dog, Soundgarden, Audioslave & Chris Cornell goodies! THANKS! :)

  • Glad you liked it and thanks for subscribing to my channel shell : )

  • I'm with Shell, Lekter. Great song and great posts! Thanks again, bro.

  • who played piano and organs?

  • Rick Parashar. He was the producer.

  • well then Rick Parasher is badass for producing one of the greatest albums of all time

  • Yeah he is : )

  • so relaxing...and dirty jajaja

  • Does anybody remember in which movie this song appeared???????

    Hmmmm!!! Any guess????

    Oh, alright. I'll tell you.

Wayne's World. Check out the scene where they first go to Robe Lowe's apartment. Listen to the background music.

  • you're right man

  • haha man,i swear to god, without your help,I JUST found that out yesterday when I was watching it lol.I was like "NICE!"

  • nice upload. i love it when people who have the music share it with the rest of us. thanks

  • Wow, thankx for sharing this. This is my fav song of that cd.

  • Hey no problem, thanks for watching. I love All Night Thing too.

  • "hear" i hear the radio. not here it.

  • temple should reunite make a new album, that would be heaven for music

  • I agree, but given the situation that bore the first album, that will never happen. In truth I hope they never feel they need a new disc. Too much pain went into this one.

  • yeah maby thats what made it great!!! the pain and loss of andrew even his death was a blessing WOW!!!

  • its too bad that there are no longer vocalist like this. the music that is coming out these days is just weak. and even cornell lost his edge after the initial audioslave album. as much as i hate to say that.

  • I have to strongly agree with you man.

  • yo lekter have you discovered anything at all worthwhile in the current music scene?

  • To be honest with you man, no. It really sucks. That is the main reason why I only listen to soundgarden, TOTD, pearl jam, stone temple pilots, etc. Today's music is just terrible. I don't know why. I simply don't like it. In fact I can't stand it. I don't listen to radio anymore. There is nothing interesting original or unique out there.

  • Where is the nirvana of the 2000s. I mean in the 70's you had Led Zeppelin, in the 80's you had Metallica, in the 90's Nirvana. What do we have now, really ask yourself that question? I'm pretty sure your answer will be nothing. It is sad but true. I just keep hoping that one day a new band will emerge and change the current music scene.

  • indeed. it amazes me to here the radio. its bizzare that so many bands are emerging and yet one in ten will have MAYBE one mediocre song. every band you listed just now is among my favorites. except pearl jam. i have never got into pearl jam much. any particular album i should aquire to learn more about them?

  • Start with "Ten" . Good songs from that album are Even Flow, Alive, Black, and Jeremy. Once, Garden and Why Go are good too. My favorite is Even Flow hands down specially re-recorded version with drummer Dave Abbruzzese.

  • So yeah man you should definitely get "Ten" . If you dig it then you might wanna buy the other two albums "Vs." and "Vitalogy" If you wanna save money you can just buy "Rearviewmirror: Greatest Hits 1991-2003" That one has all their hits. "Yellow Ledbetter" is a great, great song man and you can find it in that compilation.

  • yellow ledbetter is fantastic. so even flow in particular huh? ill remember that. on the album ten. im all about 90s "grumge" or whatever you want to refer to it as. so help me remember. nirvana, alice in chains, stp, soundgarden, temple of the dog, pearl jam, i keep drawing a blank. i know there was more than that. what band had mark arm as the lead singer?

  • Mudhoney. They're still around by the way.

  • Cornell,Gossard,Ament,Cameroon, McCready, Vedder, the greatest reunion ever made in rock history

  • The entire album was awesome. But yeah this was my favorite too. It's rare that you find an album where you like every song, but Temple of the Dog was definitely a winner.

  • Amen

  • one of my fav song's and albums wow chris can do it all i think!!!

  • Thanks a lot for posting this vid....

All we PJ,SG and TOTD fans really appreciate you!

    cheer!

  • Awesome video!! Do more!! I love it. Suze xx

  • I will. Just a little busy with real life lately : )

  • TOTD is good :D

  • grunge is my fav, including PJ and SG,but TOTD simply is'nt good to my opinion.

  • Just keep on listening to them and you'll love them

music isn't all about heavy stuff

  • I agree with you bro. His voice is so dynamic. My idol.

  • This is Chris breaking out of his Louder than Love voice right before recording Badmotorfinger. What a great vocal performance.

  • Thank you man for watching my lil video. I did it for you guys...Temple Of The Dog fans who love to listen to TOTD songs all day long :)

  • Another great TOTD song . . . another brilliant video!

  • Hehe thank you dude. Comments like yours make me wanna make more vids. I'll definitely make another Temple of the Dog video. I'm thinking "Your Saviour" is next. Anyway, thanks for watching man.

  • anytime dude . . . dude do 'Call Me A Dog' Next :)

  • I'll defintely do that one. That song is awesome too!
