We are using this in a school musical (original script) and a 12 year old boy sings it... higher than bobby, of course! He has such a raw, naturally talented voice, and he's so fun to listen to!
@Little1Cave It depends on how good your higher part of your range is. The part is around baritone/tenor range, but if you have a good higher range you can do it.
@Little1Cave Just saying, if you take an octave, unless you have a very well developed and seasoned voice, it won't have the same effect. Either way, do not strain your voice trying to sing the song! :)
my god I would LOVE to do this musical! I heard "cop song" "snuff that girl" and now this! I really only know part of storyline though...but it's neat that an original cast member was named Hunter, like me. 8)
We danced to this song and it was SOOO fun :D I got a dance solo in the talking bit. And with the singer part I got to be the one directing [or however its spelled] the others. I LOVE DANCING TO MUSICAL SONGS.

I think the guys a tenor so mayb not. but you could always sing it down an octave.
