We should learn to love all good people wherever they are from. There are good people of white, black or brown. We must learn to learn from one another. Nationalism breeds hatred. Hitler is a perfect example.
@Arkimedes999 That's a blanket statement that I reject. SOME Americans don't give a fuck about other humans, MOST Americans don't give a fuck about other humans, THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT don't give a fuck about other humans. Certainly not all of them. I think there are a lot of uninformed Americans that fail to see the bigger picture. The US just like any other country is just dirt and rocks. We are all made of the same stuff and all spin around the same sun in the same solar system.
@CJCA915 Even so. Why should we be pledging allegiance to just THIS country of people and not ALL COUNTRIES of people? We are all made of the same stuff and generally want the same things. Why should I be so proud just because I was born on a certain piece of land when I could have just as easily been born on some other piece of land? And in case anybody gets the notion that I'm hating on America I'm not. I just think we are ALL equals and ALL should be treated the same way.
@exacerbatedtaboo I'm not sure how to explain it, it's something to do with ones own country... personally, I think we should all come together as one planet... instead of fighting over stuff... but that's really a pipe dream...
In this case, geopolitics hurts that. Each region has its own problems and generally speaking, putting people in one area to police the habits of an area they have no familiarity in can lead to some pretty ugly shit.
I support globalization but in so much that each country is separate but interconnected to a reasonable degree.
Didn't hear about the comedian, yet I know enough "free men on the land" and anarchists to know about the law of the land and the law of the sea which is where flags come from.
People make flags legitimate so how do we see flags as legitimizing US?
I pledge my allegiance to Wine and Poodles!!! Totally 5,000% allegiance. ^__^
Though to be honest country wise I mostly like it if I like it's food or stuff, and people I judge on an individual scale except for like Nazi's and the super religious they are just bat shit crazy.
trure man .. i wish everyone from any nation ..or race would get this..we gotta stick together ..as human beings world wide ...not some race war, nationalist BS ..the wars and all this .. that dont rep. people of a country ..thats the power elite ..controlling and setting it all up .. if blacks or mexicans , or indians, or iraqis , or afgans .. have a problem with how things have gone .. its not me .. it's not my relitives to blame, now.. lets forgive that shit , move on ..work together ..
Yes I agree in the extreme, people are just people, good and bad
National Geographic global DNA mapping project and their Human migration map is well worth a look, really cuts through the bullshit.
We are all related and all originate in Africa
Patriatism seperates us all. We all live on bits of land that stick up out of the ocean, they are not seperate!, the dirt I live on is connected to the one you live on.
We all share the same dirt, air and water, that is the scientific fact.
@1BustedMyth Exactly. I think I've actually seen the documentary you're referring to. Very interesting stuff indeed. It would take too long to explain in a comment but we were related long before that as well. We need to learn to take care of each other and look out for our fellow humans or fellow living beings and not worry about petty shit like borders and oceans etc that divide us.
@exacerbatedtaboo, Exactly, if you trace the tree of life on this planet all the back, then everything is your relative, i was just trying to not REALLY start a creationist argument ;) we are 96%+ related to Fruit Flys/ they to us! Monobo is the closest primate 98.5% (I think).
Your Mitacondrial DNA can be traced all the way back.
Mitacondria itself is the part of a cell that makes electricity for our Nervous system from the nutrients in our food, they are actually acient bacteria: Symbiosis
@1BustedMyth we all know this, and were do u base your fact that all humans come from Africa? based on the oldest bone found YET? Your trying to say all human beings are equal and that is true. But we can lose our equality with the destruction we cause. Just like a criminal is convicted and treated as a lower form, so should racist, rapist, Europeans who oppressed and continue to oppress the Indigenous people of North America Mexicans included. We are all humans but we do not all behave like one
@resistnsmoke. The history of life here and the Human being is ongoing research, it can change at any moment, and I'm not a scientist in the area. NG and Nature magazines do a wonderfull job of keeping people up to date, its just one area of interest for me, I spend most of my time on Human, Animal rights and clean technology research.
To my knowledge the oldest bone has been found and dated and its African.
We were all black, some of us turned white as we moved towards the Arctic
@resistnsmoke, Around 80,000 years old these samples. There were also two other Humanoids that dies out (or we hunted them to extingtion) White people are just pale black people really, its a reaction to UV light levels on your skin over many generations, albino Africans look European.
When europeans arived in Australia 200 years ago and met the Native Australians, it was actually the two longest seperated branches of the same bloodline comming back together: 40,000 years apart! (NG)

If I recall, the Pledge of Allegiance is to the country, as in the country of people, not the land...

@resistnsmoke, NG have a website where you can order a DNA test kit, that will trace your ancestors migration for thousands of years
I recently saw a very racist man get told that he has Chinese ancestry, that stopped him in his tracks!!
And by the way almost all people are a little racist, I almost married a Chinese lady and her Father subjected me to it.
People just like to think they are special: God Made Us!, I am white!, ect ect.
Just look at Bosnia conflict, people are almost the same!
