But back then when I asked what "Rights" I had had that I now have lost?

I never got an answer.

I think thats very telling...

It tells me that the conspiracy nuts on the web are really only good at causeing fear as long as left unchallenged.

Im not a lawyer, I dont know all the ins and outs of the new laws.

But I do know that so far I have yet to see any of "MY RIGHTS" changed.

Cops instigated the situation. It could have been cleared up and dissolved without incident. New Years celebration. An alleged fight on the train may very well have been a shouting match. Just separate the parties on different trains and have them go home. The proper way to handle it. Cops wanted a take down. They got it plus a public execution to boot.

The Bart investation turned over it's findings to the DA on Monday and Tuesday night there is an arrest.

As for other video from the BART station?, If there still is any unknown videos yet to come out I would hope is well protected untill charges are filed.

The last thing we want is for the BART police to be seen as slanting the Potential jury pool.

I think that the officer should not say anything until there is a trial. Things need to be done properly or the situation may really get out of hand. And what about the other officers there that night? I counted about 7 or 8 total after watching all 3 videos. Those officers haven't resigned, have they? So what is their comment? That bald officer, what's his explanation for getting in Oscar's face when he did? What's his explanation for dragging him to the ground and holding his knee on the back of Oscar's neck?

I think they did a good job of staying in control of the situation both before and after the shooting.

The problem with the first two videos I watched is that the camera work is so jumpy that it's hard to tell what is going on at times.

I have not heard how many people were on the BART car, nor how many were standing out sides the cars yelling at each other.

Just before the shooting I do see about 4 cops run in from someplace else, Not sure where they were before this?

At the moment of the shooting there were only 3 cops near the kid who got shot.

It is interesting to note the reactions to the 2 other cops who were standing near the one cop who shot the kid.

The big cop looks shocked by the gunshot, and the other cop is so surprised by the sound of the gunshot that he reaches for his own weapon.

Clearly the other two cops didnt have a clue that the kid was going to be shot.

There are 3 videos so far. When you watch all 3 videos, it is apparent that there are at least 7 officers present.

In the seconds before and after he is shot, I see 2 officers on Oscar Grant. 1 is next to Oscar, the one talking on the radio. 2 are guarding the perimeter around Oscar. The 1 female officer. And 1 officer arresting someone next to Karina Vargas right when Oscar gets shot. That's 7.

Why hasn't Johannes Mehserle simply been ARRESTED? By now, we've all seen the video that shows UNEQUIVOCABLY that Johannes Mehserle, without just cause, pulled out a firearm, aimed it into the back of a man who was face-down on the ground and in handcuffs, and then he pulled the trigger. Oscar Grant is dead, and 12 days later, no law enforcement agency with jurisdiction here (BART police, OPD, state AG, FBI to name a few) have APPREHENDED THE SUSPECT.

Somebody needs to ask this gentleman where the BART surveillance tapes are. Why weren't the cameras working again? They participated in the cover-up and now he's trying to act like everyone is mad at BART for no reason. The shooting was a single event. The cover-up is systematic oppression. If the pressure comes down, they'll sacrifice this cop, eventually. However, they'll paint him as just one "bad apple" that snapped. The cover-up reveals the true depth of the rot.
