I bought a 2cv in 2002 (my 3rd in all) and it sat in a barn for 7 years, untouched.
Finally got round to doing something with it a couple of weeks back... just stuck a new battery in it... and it started 3rd time!! Fantastic car! It's back on the road now.
Wish someone would come up with a modern car that is as simple and charming as a 2cv.
They need to bring back the CV2it's wrong to stop production of this model, at least make a smaller number than before, but to stop all together...this is bad for French culture.
la voiture et les pieces sont vraiment surcotées... la deuche est aujourd'hui victime de sa popularité!

Oh....this is very sad - the French had no idea just how wonderful that little car was and still is!!

2cv is the finest car ever!!! I drove one in England in 97. I used to own a Peugeot which is also great.
be nice to get the machinery to begin producing it again but alas, no chance :(
