  • @ragnaRokk96 You're a strange talking dumb...

  • Great technique. I'm very very impressed! Ade/UK.

  • Not sure why this video has any dislikes whatsoever?

  • EVERY drummer should know rudiments. In fact, practicing on the snare alone should be integral to kit playing.

  • send a kiss and a lots of respect, from dominican republic.

    But the pinkies.

  • Marching snare solo! great! I am on love with that clear strokes!!!! :) KEEP IN GOING!!! :)

  • I thought I detected a former drum corps player! Am I right? I played in a drum corps for three years, and when I saw you on the kit, after a while I thought, "I bet she marched drum corps." Love your kit playing! Great groove! Non-drummers don't appreciate how much real musical talent and skill it takes to play with such great feel.

  • check Tal Wilkenfeld! she's look her! :)

  • very nice technique's, love it...wht snare are you using? Pink Panther? and if so wht kind?

  • @ajtoy454 Sonor Designer Serie 6 1/2

  • I am very impressed with your flawless technique, your love of what your are doing (I can see it in your face), your pefect posture when you are playing and the jazz you seem to favor. You should study some of Buddy Rich's video's for some added snare work, there is nothing wrong with your snare work but we can all improve by watching Buddy. I also hope you stay with the single bass, it is becoming a lost art.

  • ......i think i came alittle......

  • Sweet!

  • OH... MY... GOD...

    would you marry me? :)

  • Oh wow tu es vraiment bonne! Continu comme ça! Moi ça m'encourage à continuer à me pratiquer. ;-)

  • uuuh...dude, have you even seen any of her other videos, or did you just happen to catch this one on your lunch break and comment on it? lol. Male or female, shes amazing.

  • lol I'm a professional drummer. But I started to play marching snare drum at 9 years old... I know the rudiments... Tricks, it's for fun!

  • Amazing. Concise, extremely clean, controlled, fast, loud, creative, everything makes sense and it's short enough to make sure your eyes will NOT get dispersed with time. Really exceptional chops and ideas put together. Congratulations!

  • Excellent. Another 5 star clip. I need to work on my left hand grip. This was very instructive. Thanks!

  • this made me happy

  • rock on

  • awesome <3

  • I am in love with her drumming!!!!

  • Hello Emmanuelle, your speed and precision are amazing, what you can recommend me to develop speed.?

  • Seš fakt hustá holka :-)

  • damn!

  • wow! awesome!

  • 0:42

  • COOL!

  • she a great snare drummer and no mistake and using traditional grip too the best and fastest person i have seen using traditional grip is jim kilpatrick there is a vid of him on here titled jim kilpatrick(2) it blew my mind away

  • Go girl go!

  • WHAAAAAAAATTTT that was awesome!

  • That is so cool! I've never seen anyone do this. Thank god for youtube :)

  • I have as plevilegio the music in my life I am baterista tambem,tu you are divine and I am absolute sure that are a marvel of the muhleres to play this instrumento, parabéns and continuation.Plus a fâ.

  • She's local so I went to a Sonor clinic and she opened for great Benny Greb and let me tell you the girl rocks big time. I was sat on the ground about 2 feet from his floortom so I was close enought to see every li'l details of her playing and it was just awesome. Forget the fact she's a damn pretty 25yo girl, she plays with insurance, she likes drumming and it feels in the audience. She showed us his work on flams, double-flams, paradiddles and other tricky pattern I can't recreate.

  • yea what a mad skillz

  • mad skillz :D

  • You can see the concentration levels getting more intense as she beats the hell out of that snare. Even cooler since she drums traditional.

Sure wish Robby could session out anything close to that with just a snare.

  • Very nice snare work. I knew a guy in drum corp back in the early 1980's who played insanely fast singles using match grip. Brings back some memories. kind of hard to get that speed using traditional. Great to see women drummers who are at the same or higher level then men!

  • better than Travis Barker's snare solo any day

  • damn i wanner marrie her ;O)

  • Just when i start to think i am getting my rudiments and stick control down, i watch this and realize how far i have to go lol ;-).

  • well maybe for u its not spectacular...but dont worry I can tell you that shes not even trying...thats nothing you should have seen her on stage...amazing...

  • Awesome! I admire you!

  • eat your heart out travis barker!

  • Suh-weet

  • Yeah!

  • so far all the good snare solo's i have seen are from ggirls besdies the one by travis barker is it some sort of speacial skill u guys get wen ur young er something?!?!

  • u are an awsome snare drumer

  • you are a beautiful girl and a better drummer than me.will you marry me Emmanuelle?

  • Hey, shut up, she's mine. I want her!

  • No! You shut up! She's mine!

  • does anyone have some cheese in uh can?

  • shes perfect

  • ok... i am a drummer, but now i am jalous at your skills! good one

  • Nice hands!! Who's your teacher? Keep up the great drumming. PS...Snare drum sounds fantastic. Awesome sounding rim shots.

  • We have every right to say any drummer we want is soul-less, even though I personally never said such a thing, and you have every right to insult us. But just take a step back out of the picture and listen to how ridiculous and desperate you sound.

  • I sound neither ridiculous nor desperate. In fact, I simply made an initial compliment and criticism to this drummer. Simple as that. It was you and some other that were ridiculous. Attacking me..insulting me for giving some constructive criticism to possibly help improve another musician's playing. You need to learn how to be cool. Not jumping on your high horse insulting and criticising someone who was being constructive to another musician. Relax.

  • That's funny, I distinctly remember only attacking your criticisms and not you personally. In fact, I think it was you who insulted me. You're not only petty but you're a LIAR. Or you just have a bad memory.

  • I love it! I'm just started learning how to do those back sticking techniques.... It's nice to see how it's really supposed to look! Good job!

  • lol i like it its cool

  • brav brav....brav la citl!

  • good technic

    chtidrummer

  • "you come off as an overbearing controlling dufus!"-Rtystic=me no smart

  • that comment was to Rtystic

  • I bet you are a good drummer, but you have a big mouth!!!-

  • Soon Soon Soon!!! ;-) Be patient! I'll work on new videos when I'll comeback of my tour.

By the way, I accept comments and critics! I'm not perfect and I don't want that anyway! ;-) I developpe my style, my sound and If you like it: great and I'm happy of it!!! and if you don't like: I don't care! ;-) I'm what I am!

    Peace! ;-)

  • you good girl

  • Check out Roger Biwandu (great drummer!) if you haven't already- you'll love his playing- he's here on utube special favorite; his version of summertime-- he also has a version of palladium - Love your Playing Emmanuelle!

  • i just want to talk to emanuelle.i want to now more about her:)

  • awesome...

  • Great chops,nice smooth hits,wonderful timing, precision...BUT WHERE'S THE SOUL??!

Listen to some JOHN BONHAM!, Mitch Mitchell, Keith Moon, Papa Joe Jones, Buddy Rich,Gene Krupa for SOUL. Concentrate a bit less on worrying about the supreme swiss watch precision and timekeeping)but put your HEART into it your EMOTIONS on 10! Music is all about EMOTION if you put your soul into it, you'll be UNSTOPPABLE Emmanualle.I hope the constructive criticism is ok for you. Listen to a long Bonham solo.

  • All of those you mentioned people played set. Marching snare is a completely different style, which leads to a different way to "put your HEART into it."

Also, you dont have to act out every word with caps. We get it.

  • Emmanuelle also plays the set as in most of her vids. Just because she is playing snare here doesn't mean comparing her emotion to other set players is any less valid. And you are saying marching corps snare playing has a 'different' soul?? You're kidding right? Soul is soul, emotion is emotion, there isn't a 'certain' kind of soul for marching corps snare playing. Emoting is emoting. And please don't exaggerate..I did not put a cap on EVERY word...capitalised every in case you...didn't 'get it'.
