  • dont compare batman movies to each other just enjoy them :)

  • The last great Batman of the 90's Batman movie series, because let's face it, Batman & Robin (with the single exception of Uma Thurman's performance as Poison Ivy) S-U-C-K-E-D. Thank goodness for Christopher Nolan for restoring Batman to it's full glory again.

  • i love this film me and my sister would just keep rewinding the bit where riddler is in prison where he says I'M BATMAN!!!!!! because we found it hilarous haha good times

  • I love this movie! :) Val Kilmer did a great, hot Batman and Jim Carrey did a insanely, funny Riddler. I love the performances of this movie. They all did a fantastic, job! The characters, the music, the plot everything in this movie is truly outstanding! ;)

  • GREAT MUSIC, NOT A BAD FILM, BUT I PREFER NOLAN'S DARK KNIGHT

  • @Matogras BATMAN RETURNS FOR MUAH LOLOL each in their own right, but i like the old school stuff hahahah dont chase me now.

  • @Sno0py87 heheh... :)

  • Man, I remember hearing this on the radio as a kid...

  • Spy: Hold Me

    Medic: Later..

    Spy: Thrill Me

    Medic: later..

    Heavy: Kiss Me

    Medic: Later..

    Spy: Kill me

    Medic:.... Later..

  • this is my favourite batman film lol, not kidding. and this song with kiss from a rose made it 10 times better♥

  • never been a fan of U2 or this batman film. while not as terrible as Batman and Robin, it still had its cartoony moments like the batman tv show. but this song does kick some ass in my honest opinion

  • "Batman Forever" is a guilty pleasure for me. On one hand, I understand how people wouldn't like it because of its campiness and some over-the top performances. On the other hand, it's enjoyable because of its flaws. And no, I don't think it should be paired with "Batman and Robin" because while "B & R" was awful, I feel that "Forever" was so bad it's good, if you know what I mean.

  • What's the name of the song that was playing when Robin stole the Batmobile half way into the film? That's what I'm looking for. This song's good too though

  • I don't care what people say about this movie. I mean, come on. Tim Burton did a great job using dark elements in the first two films. But I really enjoyed Batman Forever for this reason. I love the retro feel because that's what Gotham City is. It's a place of darkness but has a sense of craziness - Jim Carrey's Riddler really personified that. And it had some classic dark humor in it too. It was just an intense, cool film. This song reminds me of the Riddler and how he tries to beat Batman.

  • This song is really affecting the way I play Arkham City

  • @FollowersofDamu I wish this song along with the sunsoft nes music was featured in Arkham City. (Long live streets of desolation)

  • i think this one gets unfairly grouped in with batman and robin, which was genuinely awful, whereas I think batman forever is probably the best batman movie, it's not the serious batman that nolan uses, it's a very good modernized take on the campy batman

  • Is it sad that this is my favorite U2 song?

  • @SCT84 I thought I was the only one. And no it is not sad.

  • Does anyone knows the song from the OST: "Crossing the river'?

I think that this song, kiss from a rose and crossing the river are the best 3 songs in the OST (even though I cant recall when "crossing the river" ever played in the movie itself..

  • Batman Forever was the best Batman film out of the original 4 Burton/Schumacher films

  • @NYRyder1983 i disagree. while i DO love all 4 films (B&R was great for comedy 60s batman), i would rate them in the order they were released. B89 the obvious best, Returns was a step down but still kept that dark creepy batman feel, Forever a small step down, but was radically different in tone but still was a rip roaring batman film.

  • @burtonrules123 batman and robin?...wtf you smokin?

  • @darthelvis26 like i said, its good if you want to laugh or want some 60' show action.

  • @NYRyder1983

    You CANNOT be serious?

  • @NYRyder1983 THE RIDDLER OWNS

  • @NYRyder1983 Totally, Batman Forever is absolute pwnge X3

  • @NYRyder1983 this song and Nicole Kidman's cleavage were the best thing about Batman Forever

  • @Sleepgarden and jim carrey

  • @NYRyder1983 No need to be too generous.

  • @NYRyder1983 WOAH WOAH WHAT?

  • @NYRyder1983 Just watched it again tonight, and wow! I remember constantly watching this as an 11 year old kid and watching it tonight, I realised just how BATMAN it actually IS. It's fun it's dark, colourful, comic in it's style. You're right saying many people might see it as gaudy and too ''bright' but seeing it again after so many years I found it still true to the comics in some mad way. OK- it may be 'overacted' in some parts, but-who cares it's an awsome interpritation of the comics.

  • @NYRyder1983 Hhahahahahahahahhahahahhahhahaha....pfft hahahahahahahahahahahahhaah

    Oh well that's your opinion.

  • This song and Seal's "Kiss From a Rose" are the two reasons why I bought the soundtrack. This song is hot.

  • The only U2 song I like, mainly because of the fact that it's Batman.

  • tocava as 6 da manhã no SBT antes da programação do dia entrar no ar.

  • @dino82soraggi Sério?

  • I didn't watched the movie, but the song is EPIC!

  • Only decent song U2 ever had, and it was in a shite Batman film.

  • I like it!!!

  • batman is maddd SEXY in this one...i mean hes always sexy but....whoo! ^^

    this girl LOVES batman!!!

  • @x0xchaozdiamond19 Yeah I know what you mean, he is sexy

  • @Spirit9193 i know ^__^

  • @x0xchaozdiamond19 The funny thing is the Director, I think it was him that was openly gay and "buffed" up the suits (hard nipples, tight crotch, you get the idea). I found it funny and disturbing when I was revealed about this secret.

  • @MontagesnMore really?

    i never knew that

  • @x0xchaozdiamond19 Yea, I read it somewheres on google. Just look it up.

  • @MontagesnMore I'm 14. Been watching "Batman & Robin" for years (Including "Batman" and "Batman: Forever") for some reason I have never noticed them! XD

  • @x0xchaozdiamond19 It's the car : chicks love the car. :-)

  • @knight30002008 lol xD

  • 0:7 -0:18 rocks so much thank u BmSt32 for putting this up i luv this song

  • love this song!!

  • "LIKE the jacket? It keeps me safe when I'm..... JOGGING AT NIGHT!!!!"

  • @Messylin "AGH! YOU SUNK MY BATTLESHIP!!!"

    "Who me?"

Riddler & Two-Face, the greatest Batman bromance ever!

  • WTF. An advert for Justin Bieber!!??

  • I love all the batman's movies, doesnt matter who is the actor!... BATMAN IS BATMAN...

  • @Rammalgaton Amen, my friend

  • this was the stupidest movie made that year

  • @meatissodumb HATER!!!!!!

  • @x0xchaozdiamond19 well it's true

  • @meatissodumb so what? -_-

  • @x0xchaozdiamond19 I'm glad you agree

  • @meatissodumb im uset to the cartoon. but i like the movies...

  • @x0xchaozdiamond19 the cartoon was good. batman forever and batman and robin were terrible.

  • In my opinion, this movie is entertaining, it's way better than Batman & Robin and Batman Forever has an awesome soundtrack. I prefer Tim Burton's vision of Batman. Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are awesome films as well.

  • !. Val Kilmer

    2. Christian Bale

    3. Adam West

    4. Michael Keaton

    5. George Clooney

  • @michaelhonscar Are you high?

  • @starkiller20293 If you must no I have never touched a drug in my life. Are you a loser who can't accept someone else's opinion without making a dumb comment? "Duh,Are you high?"

  • Adam West played a batman that did not represent the proper character of Batman,George Clooney was in a horrible film, and Michael Keaton was too short to play Batman. Bruce Wayne/Batman is anywhere from 6 foot to 6'2. Michael Keaton is 5'9 tops.

  • @michaelhonscar West palyed the Batman of his time, Clooney being shit was because he didn't care, and really Keaton's short?

  • One of the good elements (this song, that's to say) about one of the worst Batman movies ever. Schumacher destroyed what Burton built.

  • one of the very few, if not only, good things about Batman Forever was its soundtrack

  • right now at 1:06pm on October 5, 2011 there are 666 likes to this video

  • just love this track.the movie was ok i mean it may be toned down by its predecessors but still a good movie to watch.anyway its a like for me :)

  • val kilmer batman yes bruce wayne NO

  • This Movie is kickass. This movie destroys the shit out of Batman Beggins or Dark Knight.

  • Bale is the Best Bruce Wayne.....Keaton is the Best Batman!

  • hello by ALE X!

  • very underrated u2 song

  • damn that ending KILLS!!!

  • For fuck sake, Bale's Batman is the best because he's smarter and could rock the shit out of every other one. Further, Ledger's Joker remains one of the most hypnotic psychopaths ever committed to film.

This song is better than the entire movie & soundtrack it was affiliated with!

  • this is a much better batman song than a kiss from a rose could ever be,but the hollywood fucktards wanted a love song....

  • I just watched this film for the first time in many years. It was better than I remembered.

  • Thumbs up if you think this was a good Batman movie.

  • Anyone else love it when Robin goes "Holy rusting metal, Batman!" And Batman just goes "Huh?!"

    Cracks me up every time!

  • @TheDoctor2222 saw it otherday and i was PISSING myself lol its like the best line in the whole film :) hahahahahaa

  • @Copeydude101 I know! Ha ha ha

Every time i see this movie, i crack up at that line!

  • @TheDoctor2222 same here hahahaha lol

  • @Copeydude101 It's awesome!

  • @TheDoctor2222 And then Robin is says "It's metal that's you know, holy!' And Batman's reply is grunting back "Oh"

  • @StevesGummyBears Ha ha ha ha love it!

  • Comment removed

  • @thaddeusMcgee Nope, are you?

  • @TheDoctor2222 Yeah I love that it's funny LMFAO

  • @Spirit9193 I certainly like it!

    Ha ha!

  • <3

  • I saw the band Egon7 today playing this song, it was just thrilling...

    awesome song!

  • BBBBBAAAAATTTT CCCCCCAAAAAAAARRRRRRRDDDD??????????????

  • I used to have the soundtrack and thought this song was amazing. I didn't realize at the time that it was U2, though.

  • bono was fucked while recording this song? sounds like his was penetrated by a couple of gangstas

  • this should be the theme for wrestmania 28

  • @yohb7 i can picture that already

  • @ghostflyable23 it fits the whole rock vs cena ledgend vs ledgend feeling

  • @yohb7 (i know. late reply lol) we should totally get wwe to use it for wrestlemania.. but how do we email them

  • @ghostflyable23 i dont know how to get their email but it would be cool in the promos THE TWO BIGGEST ERAS IN WWE COLIDE whill this song is playing in the background

  • Great song, great band, great soundtrack. Worst fucking movie of 1995.

  • Batman Forever: Best Movie of 1995 in my opinion.

  • when i heard this as a kid i really liked it, the other song from batman forever that i really like is "kiss from a rose"

  • This song = Sex. Just pure sex.

  • very super song:-) from Czech Republic :-*

  • This terrible movie always has me wondering what a third Batman film starring Michael Keaton and directed by Tim Burton would have been like.

  • @JLC31383 Probably just as bad as Batman Returns.

Although it still would've been more tolerable than the rape they inflicted on the Riddler and Robin. :( I remember seeing this flick opening night and I was so excited. I left in a rage.

  • @emphaticleech I think Tim Burton had planned to do a third film with Two-Face as the villain to be played by Billy Dee Williams who was Harvey Dent in the first film with Michael Keaton. I just wish the original series had made it as at least a trilogy with the same storyline rather than the third and fourth movie being a separate one due to the recasting except for Alfred Pennyworth and Commissioner Gordon. I cannot imagine Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, or that horrible Bane in Tim Burton's stories.

  • @JLC31383 Actually, you'd appreciate this if you google Batman's original script (I think it was from 1986) you'll find that Dent had a more prominent role along with Dick Grayson being a main character.

I could see Burton might've included Bane.. but he wouldn't have done him like he was butchered in B&R. It probably still wouldn't have been that good, though. I'm biased ... I just do not like Tim Burton. I think I liked Ed Wood. That's about it from him.

  • @emphaticleech I just feel like if they had done one more film directed by Tim Burton and had Michael Keaton play Bruce Wayne/Batman just one last time- the original series would have been a complete trilogy. Then the fourth movie could have been a reboot with a new actor wearing the cape and cowl as well as someone else sitting in the director's chair. It did not have to be an origin story starting all over either- it could have just been another film continuing with more villains not yet seen.

  • @JLC31383 Technically, that's what Batman Begins was. True.. it was an origin story but it introduced a LOT of people to Ra's and Scarecrow and Falcone. And even Victor Zsaz has a cameo.

  • @emphaticleech Yes- but that was to do a new series starting from scratch and undoing the horribleness Joel Schumaker had done that ruined the original series. I am just saying I wish there had been a third movie in 1995 continuing the series started by Tim Burton and having Michael Keaton replay his character a final time. Robin definitely would not have been in that movie as it would have actually concluded the storyline and definitely would have been dark like "Batman" and "Batman Returns".

  • @JLC31383 Eh. I really didn't think the first two were all that dark. I never really liked them because they were idealizing style over substance. Something the Batman movies needed less of at that point.. was style.

  • @emphaticleech I like the way the first two movies tried to be somewhat realistic unlike the two movies that Joel Schumaker did which pretty much were made to look like cartoons. I just cannot believe Tim Burton was not allowed to do a third film for the series he started and that they were just interrupting the storyline after only two films. At least the original Superman series kept having Christopher Reeve play the role despite the change in directors- although Richard Donner was the best.

  • @JLC31383 I fail to see how a child raised by penguins in a sewer is even "somewhat realistic".

  • @emphaticleech I know those movies are not 100% realistic- but they do not seem to be having those stories done like a cartoon. I always felt like the first film directed by Tim Burton did it as if there really was a Batman- although that Joker was cartoonish and the one in "The Dark Knight" seemed more like a realistic psycho. The Penguin in "Batman Returns" was doing things a real person could do- unlike Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy in "Batman & Robin" which definitely were not realistic at all.

  • @JLC31383 i notice similarites between batman beyond and batman forever but that might be just me

  • @yohb7 "Batman Forever" was made 4 years before "Batman Beyond" showed on television. There was talk about a fifth Batman movie that was going to be set in the future where Bruce Wayne was an eldelrly man who had been retired from crime-fighting for a couple of decades- then a young man was going to wear a futuristic Batman suit that looked just like the one on the cartoon to become the new protector of Gotham City. However, that movie ended up being shelved and still remains in limbo right now.

  • @JLC31383 i know but there are similarities in a way i mean ive never seen batman beyond except for return of the jokerbut they both feel very similar

  • @yohb7 I never really watched "Batman Beyond" either other than seeing the 2-part pilot episode as well as a 2-part episode where an elderly Superman is being controlled by an alien creature. I technically would like to pretend it does not exist and just stick with the animated series that is traditional. I really do not like it when comic book stuff goes beyond tradition like making Superman into five different versions of himself. I think "Batman" and "Batman Returns" were very traditional.

  • @JLC31383 i think batman begins and the dark knight are the best

  • @yohb7 Christian Bale is the best actor ever to portray Batman.

  • @JLC31383 the darkknight is also the best batman movie

  • @yohb7 Yes- but I have a feeling "The Dark Knight Rises" will not be as good even though they are trying to get it to be just like it.

  • @JLC31383 yeah what made the dark knight great was the joker

  • @yohb7 Probably because Heath Ledger had passed away a few months before its release and that made people feel like seeing it would show respect to him and his family.

  • Comment removed

  • @JLC31383 Bale reminds me of a yuppy when he's Bruce wayne

  • @sc6rp I think he looks better as Bruce Wayne than Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, and George Clooney. Adam West is probably the best looking as Bruce Wayne (but his Batman looked like a cartoon character brought to life).

  • @emphaticleech havnt you ever been to a circus? lol

  • Not to be a troll, but the only thing I hated about the song is the sexual moaning. Sometimes ruin the song for me.

  • whenever I hear this song I always think of batman

  • Nope I lied GREAT song :)

  • Good Song

  • Magnificent guitar riff

  • @GaGarGary

    Adam West = Definitive Batman

    Michael Keaton = Crazy Batman

    Val Kilmer = Pouty Batman

    George Clooney = Gay Batman

    Christian Bale = Ridiculous Batman

    fixed

  • @BallsMonkey

    Adam West = Camp Batman

    Michael Keaton = Definitive Batman

    Val Kilmer = Crap Batman

George Clooner = even crapper Batman

    Christian Bale = Psycho Batman

  • @69crafty @BallsMonkey and @GaGarGary Kevin Conroy is the best Batman!!!! :D

  • @69crafty Adam West - Legend

Michael Keaton - Definitive Batman (Agree)

Val Kilmer - Not bad but not the best either

    George Clooney - No way

Christian Bale & the new Batman movies - Bale is a great Batman but I don't like the movies, they are missing the real Batman spirit, I don't know what that is but there's something missing.

  • @9unitsoldier

Sorry to interrupt but... the real batman spirit missing? Batman year one... I don't recognize it in the Burton movies, but it is definitely there in the Nolans. At this point we should make a list of the best Jokers (Nicholson first)

  • @Electrikick I don't mind to argue about it but I think Burton knew better than Nolan how to create the right "batman spirit", if Burton would have directed the 2000's Batman movies with 2000's technology instead of Nolan they would have been about 200x better than Nolan's but I don't think the new Batman's are bad, they are good but as I said, "the Batman spirit is missing" =D And Nicholson is by far the best Joker, with all due respect, Ledger is a bit overrated because he died, just my opinio

  • @9unitsoldier It's not Nolan that makes his movies fall short of Burton's (and everyone's really), it's Bale. Clooney wasn't even as bad of a overacting soap opera drama boy as Bale was playing Batman and I walked out of the theater for Batman & Robin.

  • @adamwarlock2099 Do what? Bale is the best Bat/Bruce. He emulated the comics better than anyone did and managed to actually do a growl. Nolan's Batman films overshadow Burton's by miles. And for a number of reasons, including better actors, better stories and better source material. I love Frank Miller as much as the next guy, but he pales in comparison to Alan Moore and Jeph Loeb... with the exception of Year One, of course.

  • @emphaticleech No Bale is a good Wayne, but a overbearing and overacted Batman. You think West played the part to the camp extreme well Bale plays it to the horrible Joker level extreme of angst. He's horrible at the role. The actors around him and the script are what won Nolan's Batman films, it had nothing to do with Bale. He's a great actor, but he is NOT Batman in my opinion. As far as better actors that is horrible disservice to the other actors, but on par for an internet comment.

  • @adamwarlock2099 Adam West just... rocked it. Heh. I remember running into the TV room every night to watch it. Amazing how far it's come.

Which brings me to Bale. He NAILED the O'Neil angst. I didn't see too much angst from his Batman. I saw the perfect amount Nolan was probably going for. I never once thought, throughout the new two films, that Bale was overdoing it. I even enjoy the growl, even though a lot of people don't. Ra's was right.. he took "theatricality too literally".
