  • Wow this is really bad. Some people will do anything to believe in the idiotic fantasies of tiny, weak oriental scamerais.

  • why is this song so familiar?

  • ah yes, i remember this day. Sifu was all over the both of us like a pit bull on an infant. It's not everyday you get to lock hands with such an amazing martial artist. Respect...

  • This just goes to show, never screw with the guy wearing suspenders.

  • bad footwork

  • Comment removed

  • @Friedrichwsl Everyone has bad footwork when they lock hands with Wan Kam Leung. He makes you feel like you're standing on the edge of a cliff.....

  • not convincing at all. unfortunately

  • @wingchunbingfa I agree that this video is not a true example of the skill of all three people, but having done chi-sau with them all I can tell you that they are very very very good at wing chun and fighting in general. if you don't believe me then I would encourage you to go to Wan Kam Leung's school and try it for yourself.

  • I'm speechless how good Master Wan Kam Leung is..

  • awsome i study wing chun and krav maga the best styles.for real combat fighting

  • wing chun is awsome i stuyd this style and krav maga only two stronest style!!

  • just wondering is wan kam leung gary lam's si hing or si dai? regardless they are both awesome!!

  • @moondragon05 gary lam is sifu wan's si dai

  • @DeathByChagi the price per lesson gets much cheaper if you take more classes. He also has an unlimited plan, where you can attend as many classes as you want. Ring up the school for more details.

  • This guy's good with sticks and traps.

  • His classes are too expensive 800 Hk dollars for 2 lessons

  • @DeathByChagi the question you have to ask yourself is that do you want 'quantity or quality?' WKL has not only studied Wing Tsun from his teacher WSL but has modified it to make it his own practical Wing Tsun. Years of learning and perfecting a marital art system is weight it's price in gold and that is what one receives when he/she studies from an expert like WKL. You decide yourself.

  • His classes are too expensive 800 Hk dollars for 2 lessons

  • song ???

  • @TriangleMotions Theme from the T.V. show ' Angel '.

  • best ever BAR NONE!!!!!!

  • There are very few Masters that I have seen on YouTube that I consider awesome, and this guy is one of them. I would love to meet him in person.

  • @SihingJesus : go to Hong Kong or sign up for the european summercamp where Wan Sifu is teaching this year

  • This is impressive. He's so fast!

  • cool

  • This is a good video to look at if your built like a linemen. Wing chun teaches tall guys to move on the inside, breath smoothly, and to relax and not be stiff.

  • anyone who was a student of Wong Shun Leung is good by me! W.S.L. even convinced Yip Man to rethink aspects of the Mook Yan Jong through his Biemo experience! Gong Sau Wong! the best!

  • "@WChunfan" While you may be a fan the late WSL lineage, the above video is of one of his earliest students WKL, You don't need to post your comments here if it doesn't relate to the video in question. Post it on WSL videos. To post it here shows disrespect as I am proud to have met WSL and studied from WKL privately.

  • This sifu is my teachers old teacher, he's been in finland numerous times ^^ i havent yet met him.

  • My Teacher is from the wong shun leung lineage but he has modified and evolved it. He is the only Wong shun leung student to have been given a certificate from wong saying that he has evolved his art.

  • @icewater19711 Impressive! He has the trademark of Wong Shun Leung - Aggressive Wing Chun. :D Yes, eventually, the Wing Chun that we learned had to become our own arts; nobody else. It will evolve according to what we have deemed fit to be.

  • @icewater19711 Who is your teacher?

  • @icewater19711 That man must be Wan kam leung

  • what lineage?

  • This dude is good!!

  • Comment removed

  • he tosses that big dude. pretty cool.

  • you are possibly the biggest idiot on youtube

    1) you cant spell

    2) you dont make any sense

    3) you probably didnt get your point across to over 75% of the people that read your comment.

    4) All martial arts work the same...its the person practicing them that makes the outcome different in a fight

  • wow....the white boy having difficulties keeping up with master.

  • First of all, he said generally , & i would guess he was referring to the more traditional style of tong long in hong kong( back in 70s when they fought open hand with wing chun and other kung fus.)

im sure he has not seen any of Henry Sue/ Malcom Style Tong long. ( with strong short distance gings , bridge / horse,&pad work trainings )

If Wing Chun can be modified, Why cant Tong Long ?I can only say both Si Fu' are good as a fact.

  • Sifu Henry is one of the best in modern day tong long not because he is a gold belt si fu. (australian tonglong ppl. please keep this to urself, there's no grading in hk) he is good because he modified the training methods and the system to suit real life fights. ( he & his brother were famous for all those fights against the bikies back in chinatown with practical chinese kung fu- against bigger opponent.) He is a true master.

  • However, Sifu Wan is the BEST in Wing Chun.

  • Go to henry sue praying manntis , to see true fightinfg mantis that is very fast, flexible with ging , you will think twice about un educated moments

  • Generally, no mantis can stand up to Wing Chun. Mantis has many similarities with WC, including bridge, center, etc. However mantis always has 3 problems when dealing with WC: too stiff, too slow in changing, centerline circle too big (ie weak defense & unconcentrated offense).

I have heard of many WC guys with little training defeating Mantis guys with 10 times their exp, my father included. But it is of course conceivable a Mantis guy can win, it all depends on the 2 individuals involved.

  • @gragrn ,

Turning power is relative, in case you didn't know, relative, that is, to the other guy's power, horse, rootedness, waist and structure, and reflex as well.

Have you chi saued with Wan sifu?

If not, then why are you telling the 2 students to turn better, when in fact, nothing they can do can turn Wan?

As for the Tunkongmantis, it is true Wan learned some Chow family mantis, for how long I'm not sure, but I cannot say if there is any truth in WSL being beaten by some mantis student.

  • bhibatsu, you're confusing me with Siuliubb1 who made some stupid comment about turning skills. As for chi saoing with Sifu Wan, the answer is yes, many times. The two Sifu's in the clip are my Sihings and I've been a student of Sifu Wan's for five years. Hope to see you in HK one day Mike.

  • Turning skills!? will turn around you like micheal jordan mate!

  • Yep thats him, he used to do chow gar praying Mantis, he was tough then, that where he gets the iron shirts from, he joined Chow Gar Mantis in 1982 to 1990. he joined up after he heard how One of grandmaster Yip shuis students beat WS leung

  • why is the taller instructor bending so low? Sifu Wan is one of the best out there thus should not allow students stand that way! maybe something to do with a certain training thing.

  • He is not bending low, he is keeping his back straight to maintain his structure.

  • You are right ...we do should not hold such a low stance...My reasons for this were ... the studio and the pool area aren't very large and me being 6 foot 5 in height, I was concerned about not getting myself and my Grandmaster in the frame properly...Also my intent was to use more heavy handed (nonWC tactics) to showcase my Sifu's ability in neutralizing a larger opponent's raw strength.

  • i imagine its prob cause he is so much taller that he needs to get down so low so that they can touch hands...

  • beeing taller is an advantage, but not that easy to handle because it isnt "normal".

  • those europeans in the clip just don't know how to maintain a proper stance and use the turning skills. Still need some hard working on it.

  • You're a local, why don't you drop in and see if you can maintain your stance against him? Believe me, Sifu Wan will move you wherever he wants to and you will feel like you are on the edge of a cliff.

  • what is the name of the song that's played in this video?

  • Seconded, love the music :) Some great saoing of chi going on as well

  • seriously I want to know what it is also!

  • Wan Kam Leung has the most solid structure I've ever seen...even my own Sifu (who I respect immensely) would look deficient when standing next to him.

    Thanks for uploading!

  • This guys amazing!!!!! Such control and flow!! Beautiful to witness. Thank You very much.

  • none better than wan kam leung..

  • @kungfudaifu Wang Zhi Peng. Nuff said.

  • What is funny about the last section, we end up getting kicked out of the pool by the PR people at the hotel. They thought we were fighting for real. Four months until Sifu Wan comes to Australia!!!

  • Sifu Wan is the student of Sifu Wong Shun Leung, and Wong learned WingChun from Yip Man with Bruce Lee.Wong's style is very practical, he tested all wing chun theories by fighting with many different styles.

  • Very good structure, very good relaxation. I really enjoy wong sheun leung wing chun way. Sifu wan kam leung is one of his better student. I hope to meet him one day.

  • Pretty nice, I like how the emphasis on this video is more towards chi sau and practical application.

  • I must say this is the best chi sao I have seen! Absolutely awesome! WAn Kam Leung is really exceptional! Some say he may even have surpassed Wong Shun Leung!

  • I would certainly say so

  • Great stuff guys! that is some impressive footage! That last 10 seconds of the video really just shows how amazing Tony is as a martial artist, hope that he gets well soon!

    locky
