I know a lot of people hate on this version of the song, but for me, I really like Brendon's use of bravado and speeding the song up a half step. And more importantly, he makes the song his own version rather than trying to do cover the song verbatim to the original.

Why did panic at the disco have to go and ruin one of my favorite Third Eye Blind songs? Sorry Brandon Urie, but your fake and over-compensatory vibrato and your voice that sounds like you have a bad head-cold does not suit this song. Stephan Jenkins, and ONLY Stephan Jenkins can do this song justice, and frankly, should be the only one to try.

I like P!ATD. Surprised by how good the cover was, after the first few seconds. Didn't like the piano opening. But the line "because he hates his life" was delivered perfectly.
I'm cool with this dude covering this amazing 3eb track. He didn't really mess it up. And not everyone can make great songs, the best some people can do is cover them.
It's nice to see a new band covering something great and staying true to the original. I think contemporary bands struggle with the temptation to add the musical version of a "spoonful of sugar" when they cover songs, increasing tempo and losing the melody and impact present in the originals. This was lovely.

This is one of my favorite Third Eye Blind songs....it's a pretty good cover, but idk- Stephan Jenkins seems more delicate & heartfelt in the 3EB version. Some of the more graphic parts seemed almost....."grotesque" in this version. Nonetheless, still a good song.

I hate when people use the term Emo so loosely. I hate labels in general. I've never thought Panic's sound was "emo" personally. I find them more theatrical. Im a big theatre geek and they are very reminescent of sounds/musics/acts in theatrics. I think this sounds so beautiful and they did an amazing job on this cover.

I like P!ATD. Surprised by how good the cover was, after the first few seconds. Didn't like the piano opening. But the line "because he hates his life" was delivered perfectly.

I'm cool with this dude covering this amazing 3eb track. He didn't really mess it up. And not everyone can make great songs, the best some people can do is cover them.

It's nice to see a new band covering something great and staying true to the original. I think contemporary bands struggle with the temptation to add the musical version of a "spoonful of sugar" when they cover songs, increasing tempo and losing the melody and impact present in the originals. This was lovely.

lol @ krazyfeshkid... I admit I am in no way a Panic fan, but I thought this was well done... I thought it was kind of lame for his to decide no one would know the song... but it was never aired on radio or anything... I think Stephen Jenkins would have appreciated it either way...

Fucking amazing. Brendon's voice when he hits the higher notes is stunning. This song is pretty intense anyway, and Brendon I feel does it justice.

This is one of my favorite Third Eye Blind songs....it's a pretty good cover, but idk- Stephan Jenkins seems more delicate & heartfelt in the 3EB version. Some of the more graphic parts seemed almost....."grotesque" in this version. Nonetheless, still a good song.

Huge Third Eye Blind fan and don't care at all about Panic, but I enjoyed the cover. Of course nothing beats the original, but I still enjoyed it. Lyrics are so good though, it's hard to do a bad job on this song.

I hate when people use the term Emo so loosely. I hate labels in general. I've never thought Panic's sound was "emo" personally. I find them more theatrical. Im a big theatre geek and they are very reminescent of sounds/musics/acts in theatrics. I think this sounds so beautiful and they did an amazing job on this cover.
