There are new and fresh bands ready to play fast and technical (not like anthrax (!) or megadeth just to name the most obvious ones).

@thrashsugus That's not the point here, Slayer was good but they are no more able to be as catchy as they used to be, Suicidal Angels walk in the path of Slayer and are able to recreate the magic Slayer used to have, Many bands of the 80's still dominate thrash, Kreator, Destruction, Overkill and Testament are only few exemples. New bands are also doing great job doing Thrash, Suicidal Angels is on of those, but Havok, Warbringer and Evile too.

With only 2 albums released they played as guests with the Big 4.. and this year (with a 3d disc) they toured with Kreator exodus and Death angel at Thrashfest.... They have achieved so much in so little time... and don't forget the essential.... They're music is aswome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
