he made this kit himself a year and a half ago before any kits were available for it and was running baby boost like 5psi before he got it built. now it's running 18psi.
idk, this was right after the tune. crazy part is, u didnt hear this in his car, only on the vid. ive heard a few different cars that sound like that. my car sounded like that right after the tune and the tuners i spoke to said thats how some brands of cars sound & should cause no harm. so i guess, sometime it is flutter and sometime, not so much... idk. i ended up rerouting the plumbing between my boost solenoid and ewg & took it back to the tuner & that fixed the issue on my car.
@RTree613 Very weird. Yeah, I used to have a Spec, and my buddy had an 02 Spec V turbo. His sounded like a damn freight train when the EWG opened up. I love these cars, and it's very cool to see how they've come along.
