It's so sad, but at the same time, it's beautiful. The love between these two children was pure and innocent.. that's what I call real love. I saw this after a friend of mine died... She was going to get married and have a baby.. A clot on her lung killed her... I cried for weeks and this scene shows how mean death can be... "There was too many of them.." INSTANT TEARS.... DEATH SUCKS...

What I observe about Thomas J's unfortunate death is this: in the present day, the parents would probably be blamed for it & maybe even charged with child endangerment or negligence.
